Its crazy how Ive been in the market for mattress for more than a couple of months now. Been to Macys, Mattress City, Mattress Firm, you name it, Ive been there. Even considered online shopping.One random day, Ive decided to walk down all the mattress stores at Northgate and stumbled upon this small store in the corner.Out of the stores that i visited that day, I felt at ease talking to John from Mattress Depot! He definitely knows what he is doing and goes the extra mile in a friendly relaxed way. Not only is he a service expert and fast but the price is fair and he takes his time to educate me.Finally found my perfect mattress thanks to him!Definitely going to recommend to my family and friends.

I have been to Mattress Depot Northgate a few years ago to get a mattress for my daughter and recently returned when i needed a new mattress for the master bedroom. The salesperson, whose name I am sorry I dont remember, was fantastic in listening to our needs and showing us a number of options and answering all of our questions. Jim Carlson at Mattress Depot is by far the best and most honest mattress salesperson we have dealt with. We visited many different mattress stores deciding what we wanted to purchase. Most of the salespeople at those other stores were hard sell, bordering on rude. Jim was easy going, gave good information and we felt like we got a very good deal. I highly recommend this location - and Jim. They offer many different brands and give you time to make your choice without feeling pressured. The delivery was right on schedule and perfect - exactly as it was explained to us. The two delivery folks were great, quick and very respectful. As we discovered, mattress shopping can be frustrating and stressful. Jim made it enjoyable and easy.

Nick is a very helpful and great salesperson! When we went looking for a mattress today we started at Mattress Depot went to a couple other stores and ended up coming back to Mattress Depot for our actual purchase, a huge part of the reason we came back was Nick, his sales approach was very laid back and honest which was a breath of fresh air compared to the very corporate systematic sales structure of the store down the street. These are the people to purchase a mattress from. Jim was great. My partner and I told him what we were looking for and what we were willing to spend. He asked a few quick questions to assess our needs, and then he gave us recommendations that were within our budget. Then, amazingly, he left us alone while we hopped from mattress to mattress for probably 20 min. He was attentive when we asked questions and seemed to know every backstory behind each mattress, but otherwise let us do our thing. We went to a few other chains, and our experience wasn’t terrible, but the attendants were obviously more interested in the sale instead of our wishes (and budget). If you’re looking to buy a mattress, I highly recommend this locally grown company.

The first salesman we met at Mattress Depot was just great; super friendly and gave great explanations about all the different types of bed before just giving us time to try them all out. He then made a great offer on the one we liked and when we came back a few days later, another salesman honored the offer and delivery was quick and easy a few days later. Really glad this was our first and last stop! Very satisfied with our purchase.

As a person in my mid 20’s purchasing a mattress for the first time, I wasn’t sure about buying a mattress in person during a pandemic. These days there is a lot in the ways of online shopping and and lots of research to be done. But I can tell you, Star and her coworkers went above and beyond to help me and make me feel good about my choice! Best experience we could have had here! It’s a smaller store, easy to pop in and out and not think twice. Especially with a larger name store literally steps away but if you stay you’ll find and amazing staff of great people.My husband and I came in and were instantly greeted and taken care of the entire time.We had done research on our own about the type and price range we were looking for prior to coming in so we already had an idea of what we wanted. Nick the salesperson who assisted us made this fun and easy. He wasn’t pushy, we never felt pressured into anything. He was near by when we had questions and gave us space when need be so he wasn’t just looming over us while we laid and tested.Plus we discovered our new Zone Dough Shoulder Cutout Pillows. A MUST HAVE ON YOUR BED!!!He helped us try mattresses based on how we responded to his questions and was extremely helpful and personable. And through this me and my husband even discovered our preferred types of bed we didn’t even know we had.Like I said that we had done research into what brand we would want and were interested in testing Purple mattresses.Unfortunately they don’t have that brand but Nick was able to show us other competitors brands of mattresses in our price range which we might also enjoy till we found one that we liked and would be extremely satisfied with.Being the first store we went to, we did leave and head to another store to try Purple. When we walked into Mattress Firm we were instantly “handled” by our sales person who was very pushy from the moment we mentioned we wanted to try a certain brand he was practically getting the paper work ready to ring us up before we even laid on a bed.After we found something we liked, we came back to again try the bed we found over here at Mattress Depot and that’s where we were welcomed back and re tried our now new bed.Nick really set the bar high for when we went to the next store. Amazing staff100/100 customer service and we feel we made the right choice.

I had Kiante help me a few weeks ago. He helped me with a guest bed and one for myself. I have been getting horrible sleep for years. Kiante asked me some questions to help me find the right mattress. I have had amazing sleep since I have gotten my mattress and all my guests have loved the bed in my spare room. I will be referring all my friends and family to Kiante.

I haven’t bought a mattress in years and I was not looking forward to the hassle. I went to mattress firm first but I quickly left after their sales man tried to push me into a mattress I was not even interested in. Luckily, as I was pulling out of the parking lot I saw mattress depot and figured hey I am out and about let’s give it one more shot. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the salesman James. He was friendly, not pushy and let me look around for a bit and then when I was ready he gave me the best presentation I had ever had. I didn’t know there was so many differant options in beds and I had never laid on a mechanical base before. James fitted me with an amazing mattress and adjustable base. I love my new bed and recommend going and seeing James if you are in need of a new mattress!!!

I cant speak highly enough about my experience with Mattress Depot. I went in on Labor Day weekend--the busiest mattress day of the year--after having been ignored for 30 minutes at the mattress store next door. And Im so glad because not only were Jim and Kiante super helpful and friendly when I was in the store but Jim went above and beyond to help with my logistical questions about the delivery in the days after I made my purchase.On top of that, Kevin & Byrom (the delivery guys) were kind, helpful and explained everything I needed to know about my new mattress.If that wasnt enough---my delightfully firm Serta mattress cost me almost 1/2 of what Id expected it to cost. This place is awesome and while I dont think Ill need another mattress for a while I know exactly where Ill go when I do need one!

Make you think youre getting a good deal when REALLY theyre just shuffling numbers around. Biggest problem was I bought one of the best mattresses they sold. Tried to return it in the 90 day period only to find I could only get the MUCH lower price they recorded as having been paid (shuffling the money over to pay for the movable frame) and I could only get credit for buying another of their mattresses. With the amount they recorded we paid, I couldnt afford a decent replacement for the lumpy bed they originally sold us as top of the line. A year later there are deep valleys in the mattress and a high center ridge. Paid almost a grand for a REALLY CRAP mattress. I hate them every day when I wake up in that crappy, cheap (NOT) bed.OH- and the delivery people they hired couldnt figure out how to get the bed and frame upstairs. After waiting 2.5 hours past time window they were supposed to deliver, they finally arrived, got the frame stuck in the stairwell. (Gouged a large chunk out of my newly painted and renovated walls) They called their boss who yelled at them for being so late. They needed to go (it was late in the day? Quitting time?) and my hubby, being a nice guy, let them leave! Hubby had to call up friend and figure out the mess himself. I cant express how much I loathe this place and warn everyone I know to avoid them! BUYER BEWARE!

You should shop at this mattress storeAfter an unfortunate and unexpected incident with my last mattress, I needed an inexpensive full size mattress within a few days. I just got done traveling from Texas yesterday, and my family and I were over being stressed about specifics. We just wanted a mattress for me to use for 2 years. As soon as we walked in, Kiante was attentive and tuned in to our needs. He asked about my preferences and took the time to make us feel comfortable and listened to. He didn’t try to sell us the most expensive mattress in the store, and instead tried his best to help us out as much as he could. Kiante is an excellent problem solver, and has a warm and amicable personality. Trust me, you want him to be your sales man.

Bought a mattress from Shane the other day and he made it an easy process with excellent recommendations and even went out of his way to find a charger for my phone when it died. One of my best friends bought a mattress from Justin about 3-4 years ago and it has no indentions at all and he said it feels like new still. I spaced the fact that a normal box spring wont make it up into my apartment and last minute (like two hours before delivery) Justin hooked me up with a two piece with no additional charges. Treat people with respect and youll get it back. Not sure how anyone could have a bad experience here. Thanks for everything guys!

Finally able to afford new beds! We had a limited budget. We walked into this store and met Kiante Woods, a very affable and knowledgeable young man. My partner just said “2 queen size beds, the cheapest you have.” Kiante did just as we asked. He set us up with 2 Amazing beds and frames and did not really try to up sell us. Except for the mattress cover, which we needed. I think we may have been in the store for about 20 minutes. Kiante only had one of the mattresses and called around to other stores to get another. He helped us make our budget and the next afternoon, the mattresses were delivered and setup by 2 men. They were professional and friendly. In no time at all, we had our new beds and they took away our old mattresses after making me promise not to wait so long next time. Wonderful service, Kiante hooked us up with exactly what we wanted with no pressure. And the beds are excellent, so comfortable and such great quality! All in all a very pleasant experience. I bought a bed frame from Mattress Depot it is clearly defective. The frame is crooked and leaves a hump in the middle of my bed and right side is slanted lower. The frame is not plumb to the bed. All this and they wont exchange it, they say its my brand new king size bed.... seriously? I will not buy anything from them again and would not recommend anyone else to. This bed frame is only a bit over $100 dollars... if I am having this much trouble with small amount item about how much of an issue you would have buying a bed...should there be a defect. Save your time and energy go down the street to the next mattress retailer.

I went into mattress depot on a Saturday to purchase a new queen sized mattress. They were having great deals during the patriot sale. I worked with Kiante on my first visit. He was very patient and friendly. I did not feel pressured to make a purchase at all. I found a mattress that I liked and decided to make to purchase. He gave me a good deal and even threw in a pillow. When he did the charges, he said that the computer would not let him list the free pillow and a zero charge on the invoice, so he lowered the price of the mattress on the invoice to reflect the deal he was purchasing. I did not think anything of it. Kiante said that it would be delivered the next day (Sunday).I made arrangements for my old mattress (I sold it), so that it would be out of my apartment before the delivery. As soon as old mattress was sold and picked up, I got a call from Kiante that they were not able to delivery my new mattress as scheduled. I basically told him that I needed it today and that I did not have a mattress to sleep on. He told me that I could come to the store and pick up a loaner twin mattress- mind you I have a mini cooper and there is no way that would ever fit in my car. This is why I initially opted to pay the extra $60 for delivery. He provided me with the warehouse number so that I could speak to them directly. After all of this, they were able to deliver my mattress as scheduled.Once I received the mattress, I noticed that it was firm. A lot firmer than the floor sample in the store. I knew it would be a bit different, but I really thought that they delivered the wrong mattress. I decided to give it a week to see if it would soften up or that I could adjust to it. A firmer mattress is better for your body right? WRONG ( at least in my case). I got terrible sleep that entire week. I know that they had a one month comfort guarantee, so decided to go back into the store to swap out for something different.I went back into the store about a week later, but my original sales guy was not working. I explained the situation to Kyle (new sales associate) and he pointed out a few different options. I could tell that he did not care to help me as much because I already made my purchase with Kiante (he was not going to make commission on it). He kept calling me the wrong name, which I never corrected, then asked me what my name was and continued to call me the wrong name. Not really a big deal, but a fair example as to how he did not care. I decided to wait until Kiante was back in the store so that I could work with him.I came back in a few days later and Kiante was there. He knew the situation from a message passed along from Kyle. He apologized immediately and helped me choose something different. I chose to pay more money and get something a lot nicer. Kiante still gave me a deal, but we ran into some problems when doing the computer invoice again. The pillow that he originally could not put as a zero charge (let me remind you that it was suppose to be a free item that he threw in) could not be applied towards the new mattress. I thought that I would just return the pillow because 1. I didnt need it and 2. I did not exactly want it. He told me that it could only be exchanged for other merchandise in the store. Literally anything besides the mattress. I was very frustrated because I honestly felt somewhat scammed. Maybe it was an honest mistake, or maybe he knew what he was doing. I do not really know, but I would think if you made a mistake, then you would try your best to fix it. That was not the case. Kiante basically said, whoops, well let me know if you want to exchange it for something else. It honestly was not worth fighting about, but I was still very annoyed by how everything was handled.Overall, I would not come back here to purchase another mattress. Maybe I just got unlucky and had a bad experience. Who knows! My interaction with Kyle was not good. Kiante was friendly but I did not like how he chose to handle the last transaction. All is done!

Was long overdue for a bed (like 12 years) I had been sleeping on a futon mattress with an old IKEA mattress and an old full size mattress that had lost it firms a long time ago. I had been wanting a new bed for sometime now, but I couldnt afford it.but after starting a new job which meant a lot of driving, I knew I needed to get a real bed in order to be rested enough to do my job and had seen the commercials on TV about Mattress Depot USA.When I went into the store Andy greeted me with such enthusiasm and was very helpful when I was a bit torn between getting a coil mattress vs. a memory foam mattress.In the end I got the Luxor-Pedic memory foam in a queen size and he gave me a discount on the box frame, and the metal supports for the box frame and also ended up getting a mattress protector that keeps you cool for those warm summer nights that we are approaching.It has been a little over a month since I purchased my mattress and I am loving the fact I am not getting up from the floor when I get out of bed each morning.Andy was awesome and very knowledgeable about the products and was able to find something I liked within my budget.I would definitely suggest going to Mattress Depot USA if you are looking for affordable, quality mattresses. And also with the Credit and No-Credit plans they have, I was able to do the 100 days same as cash and able to have my bed delivered within 2 day of going into their showroom.Thank you again Andy and Mattress Depot USA, you guys rock! :-)
