Was in town for vacation, rented a 1200GS from AZ ride.Gaylen, Marjorie and Judy were all an absolute pleasure to deal with. Of course, of the few days I was in Arizona... It rained.They were more than accommodating when I asked to reschedule for the next day.Bike was in excellent shape and a joy to ride. Zero issues with my experience and I plan to visit Arizona again for an extended trip.I will be renting another bike from AZ Ride.

Is it possible to know what kind of engine oil you are using for a 2018 Honda Goldwing 1800 dct

I was interested in booking a trip with AZ so I used the “request callback” function on their website and left my contact info. I never got the call back. Tried calling several times. On only one occasion someone picked up and immediately hung up on me multiple times. I left a second request for callback on the website. I called a left a message. Still nobody attempted to contact me more than two weeks after I first attempted. Waste of time.

This is a small family run business (I think) but the.selection of bikes is great. My buddies and I rented a 2018 DCT Goldwing, F6B, and two Harley Streetglides. We received the bikes freshly washed and ready to go.After a brief and slightly chaotic payment/signing your life away process (understandable considering we were about to take off with over $100K of iron), we were on our way.Service was extremely friendly and the owner took great pains to walk us through any idiosyncrasies that we might encounter. He was also a very knowledgeable gentleman when it came to the latest in motorcycles - very fun to listen to while we were waiting for our ride back to our hotel.Great experience and would totally do it again. Definitely recommend.

Dont hesitate or think twice, this is THE place for your rental and the best experience while in Scottsdale area or planning to rent and tour AZ, NV and the states around.It start with booking and end when the owner is coming on Sunday (when it is closed) to get back the motorcycles and not be charge extra day.My wife have an annual event in Scottsdale, this year I decided to join her and rent for us a motorcycles and tour the area while she is off. I booked our motorcycles with Marjorie over the phone after I submitted the request online. She is so pleasant and a great person to work with. She will treat you like a friend without even knowing you! I also saw few days after booking that they have a new motorcycle I wanted to try (BMW K1600B) and she switched my reservation with no issue at all. She also understand I was leaving on Sunday evening and she arrange for me to return the motorcycles at the same day while the shop is closed.Upon arrival, the motorcycles where outside and ready for us to go with no delays. The only delay we had was talking to the owner, show him my trip plan and he suggested to modify it a bit because of road condition. He gave us ideas for places to stop and eat. It only show that he do not care only to rent the bikes, he care that you will have a good time as well and enjoy the ride.The motorcycles maintain and appear in a great condition. Mine was brand new 2018 and my wife was 2015. we did almost 800 miles in 2 days and enjoy every mile of it.I am coming back next year! we appreciate businesses that care and open not only for the profit, but also making sure you will maximize your experience.Thank you AZ Ride team you are awesome!

I rented a Harley Davidson for the weekend from AZ Ride Motorcycle Rentals. I must say this has to be the most amazing customer service experience. When I arrived, the motorcycle was outside waiting for me. Best part was it was nice and clean and full of fuel. Ready to hit the road. I will use them again and again.

I rode from Scottsdale AZ to Lake Tahoe NV and back during the heat of the summer. Not the best time to ride. But had a fantastic time. Largely because of the fantastic bike a rented from AZ Ride. I rented the BWM 1200RT and loved every minute of it. It was hot but that was made up in the speed handling and over all comfort of the machine. I will be doing that again.

This place is out of business. The doors are locked and theres an old bike inside. The need to take down the website.

Wouldnt hesitate to rent from AZ Rentals again. The folks there were professional and quick to get us on our way. Bikes were in good shape and never caused us a problem. Did a five day tour and bikes were always ready to go. Come prepared and you cant go wrong.

I came all the way from Texas to buy a Goldwing and I already contacted them about and we were chatting for days and requested a lot of pictures and video, but they sent me unclear one and they told me the bike was perfect condition and in great shape. But when i saw it was totally in bad condition. And they wasted my time I drove 15hrs. What a bad service!!

Very terrible customer service!! I planned vacation months in advance and put down deposit to rent a Honda Gold wing from them. However the Global pandemic Covid-19 started just before the date of my reservation and forced the cancellation of my vacation and reservation. They have since refused to return my money I gave for the deposit. The pandemic is not my fault and I had no choice on the cancellation yet they feel I should be penalized and they should profit. This to me is Very poor and terrible business ethic so beware of this if your thinking of doing business here.

I rented a can am spider RT for the Memorial Day weekend. On arrival to the shop the bike was outside waiting fully prepped for my trip. I had a wonderful ride all the way to flagstaff when the bike had a mechanical failure rendering the bike inoperable. This was at 830 pm. I called the cell phone number the company had provided and within minutes their mechanic called me. We even FaceTimed trying to diagnose the issue and get back on the road to no avail.The owner was very apologetic and even offered to bring me another bike close to 4 hours away from the store. I declined. Luckily I was being followed by family in a truck and was able to continue on my vacation riding with them.The owner had to come trailer the bike and refunded my money for the unused days of my rental. All of this was done with little to no inconvenience of me.Although I had a problem ( completely out of their control motorcycles break down) I will rent with them again and will recommend others to do so.

Great selection of bikes at fair prices. They are a family run business that still understands service and efficiency. Great communication, I did the whole transaction via email. Bike was in great shape, ran well. They know the routes and were very helpful in planning my day. My only regret is that I had to bring the bike back! I am definitely renting from AZ Ride next time I rent a motorcycle in AZ. Do it!

Rented 2 BMWs here because their competitor only had one available. Nice family-run operation (but they are also very professional and business like). The reservation process is very clear. Bike pick-up was smooth and they walked us through how to operate. They are very accommodating. Bikes are very well maintained and I felt safe putting my trust in them. Return was hassle free. I would rent again and highly recommend.

I was on a bucket Lister from KY to AZ. Bike died 15 miles from Tuscon. I cant thank Oscar, Gabe, Phil and Charlie for all their help and understanding. I financed a new bike from the ride home. They are some of the best people Ive met on my journey which leads me to believe that humanity is not dead in the United States. This would be my dealership of choice if I lived in Arizona, they are the best people in the world including those that stopped to ask me if I had water or accommodations to get the bike to ride on in order for those folks to take a look at it! I did make it home guys, three days of 15-hour days of riding,oil change in Amarillo.Im back home now sitting on the back porch thinking about my experience. Thank you again! Sean McNierney

What a group of friendly folks, especially speaking with the owner, Gaylen a very knowledgeable person of the motorcycles he owns. Marjorie was the person that organized our motorcycles we rented for 5 days, very well sort after motorcycles, and I’m sure that all his 50 plus motorcycles he owns are very well maintained!Excellent service, our motorcycles were ready when we arrived there! Paper work was done very swift, and we were offered free cold bottled water when we arrived...how kind! We can always recommend them with 100% satisfaction, with a very fair rental price to anyone! Ive rented from Az Ride a couple of times now and I cant recommend them high enough. My group rented a Polaris Slingshot to ride with a group of local and visiting riders. The Slingshot was in great shape and performed well. This past year one of the riders had injured his back a few weeks back in a non-riding situation. At the last minute - literally the day before - he called me and told me he couldnt do the ride. So having set this rental up, I called Jerry and told him I needed to cancel. I was expecting to pay some penalty - as would be fair given our last minute decision. Jerry said he understood and waived all charges. This was much appreciated and speaks to the integrity of Jerry and AZ Ride. I will always come back to AZ Ride when I need a spare machine in the Phoenix area.

My boyfriend and I ride bikes in Atlanta and were in AZ for a conference, we woke up one morning and said lets get bikes for the day! The people at AZ Ride were kind and friendly! AZ ride was great, they had the gear we needed to feel comfortable riding available for rent, they had bluetooth helmets so we could talk to each other while we rode, and even had a planned route to give us so we didnt have to just wander around this area we knew nothing about. We had the rides from morning until dinner time, they rode great and we had a blast! Will definitely be coming back here next time were in town!

AZ Ride was a pleasure to deal with. They had an extensive selection of various motorcycles to choose from - more than any other rental I could find. They were friendly, accommodating and eager to please. They allowed me to store my large suitcase at their shop while I was gone for a few days with their bike.I brought my own helmet and riding gear, but they do have gear available to rent.I had an absolute blast riding the fabulous road between Phoenix and Sedona.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Wow, great experience renting an R1200RT at AZ Ride! Easy booking process, good prices, more than adequate daily mileage allowance, and best of all, Marjorie and Gaylen are really friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. Ive already got plans to rent from them again!

The 2013 Harley Electra Glide Police model was great but the radio speakers were shot and the suspension needed overhauling. Ran great and had no issues other than that. The price was right and the staff was awesome.

We rented 3 bikes for a father/son ride. We had a great time and appreciated the fact that we were able to return them on Sunday morning.They were super friendly and personable, which is why they got 4-stars otherwise it would be much lower, as our bikes did have issues: one bikes front brake had a faulty bolt (known Harley issue) while the other bikes tail lights malfunctioned during the ride and night running tail lights didnt work. While none of these stopped the ride and we do realize that things happen from time to time; ultimately, we found two different things on two different rental bikes to be a bit disconcerting. That said, based on their reactions when we told them, I believe these were one-of instances that Im sure will be quickly remedied.Overall, Im confident well rent from them again...especially if a Sunday return is important to you!

I have rented from AZ Ride multiple times over the past two years, always a top notch experience. They are super helpful, from bikes, to routes. I use them to both test new bikes before I buy, or when family/friends come into town. I highly recommend them if you need a bike while in AZ!

My group rented six cycles over the Memorial Day week. Bikes ran great, in good condition and we all had a great time with no issues. The staff was very courteous and professional. Thank you for the great time my group had on our trip to ride Arizona.

Had an issue with a rental bike, and it was handled very unprofessionally. I understand that it is a smaller business, but your customer deserves your assistance, and in a timely manner (it took almost 2 hours to bring a replacement motorcycle 35 miles, which he then didnt know how to ride and couldnt teach me how to operate all of the functions). It is also incredibly unprofessional to hang up on the customer after they ask for a partial refund.

10/27/2021 (update)Sad to say Az Ride Motorcycle Rentals is no longer in business. They will be missed....Took a 300 miles day ride on the 2018 Honda Gold Wing DCT with the 7speed automatic transmission. Easy rental process, Friendly staff, Great choice of rides and reasonable rates. I’ll be back.

The folks at AZ ride were great to deal with. We had a problem and they were straightforward and reasonable in dealing with it. If in the Phoenix/ Scottsdale area and need a rental, these are the folks to talk to.

Great place with an awesome fleet. Friendly people with lots of advice and support. Riders away from home, this is your chance to get back on during the snowy season and stretch your legs! Personal advice: hit 89 between Prescott and Congress. You might be so hyped that you forget to fill up before you return the bike.

I was looking to buy a Honda Africa Twin and was delighted to find that they had both the automatic, (DCT), version and a manual. They were kind enough to allow me to split my rental up and ride both for half the time. I changed my mind from what I originally thought, (DCT), and ended up buying a manual, which I love. I wouldnt have known if they hadnt been so easy to work with in allowing me to try both.

This was my second experience with AZride and from the minute I walked through the door until I dropped off the bike I felt like family. The staff is genuinely interested in making your rental experience one youll enjoy, from giving you their personal cell phone number in case of emergencies, to letting you just drop me a call and Ill be there in 15 minutes to drop off the bike. Ill be back there again and wouldnt dream of renting any where else. Oh, the bikes were in great condition too!

My wife and I rented an R1200RT for a two day trip. The folks at AZ rentals were very helpful in getting us setup with a nice two day ride. We really enjoyed the bike and the service provided by AZ rentals.Unfortunately the BMW had a sensor issue that caused the bike to go into limp mode so we could not use the bike for the 2nd day of our trip. Galen we very helpful, he was out to pick us up and bring us back to Phoenix within a couple of hours. We were refunded for the 2nd day rental as we did not have enough time to grab another bike and get back for the return/drop off.Overall great service, decent prices and nice bikes. Even though the bike did break down it was no fault of AZ rentals as the bike was new and in good shape.I would rent from them again.

I have rented from AZ Ride every February for the last 3 years, the selection of Bikes is good and I have never had any mechanical issues. Staff are always eager to suggest good riding routes and always provide a detailed pre-trip inspection/familiarization of the bike....looking forward to using them again in 2019 while we are RVing in the area.......

I have rented a BMW 1200RS and Honda Shadow. Both were very enjoyable and reliable. Surprisingly, even after hearing so many good things about BMWs, the Honda was more comfortable. The staff was very nice.

Writing this review on behalf of my partner, he rented a Harley Davidson road glide for 2 days (roughly $450.00) while he was vacationing down there. (from Canada )The bike had burnt out tail light & turn signal as well it had no oil when he got it as he checked when he went to fill up. Upon returning the bike he spoke with a worker there (Gaylan) and told them about all the issues. The worker replied with just thank you for letting me know & that’s it. After finding the matience issues with the bike it made it feel unsafe to ride. I’m sorry but when your renting out something that has the potential for danger shouldn’t you be regularly checking that the bikes are safe ? Caring about customer safety should be a HIGH priority. Instead it’s not & my partner wasn’t even offered reimbursement for doing your job for you. My partner & his friends will not be renting from here again.

Rented an FJR 1300 from AZride last week and a half of Mar 2017. I primarily dealt with Marjorie on the phone. What a great experience overall - she was very helpful and accommodating. Answered all my questions. The bike was ready the day I showed up to rent. I changed into riding gear there, grabbed a couple bottles of water from them, and they had space to stow my luggage (I flew in to PHX, emptied my bags into the saddle bags on the bike). Returned the bike was quick and easy. Great company, great people, I would recommend and will use them again in the future.

Disappointed by my experience at AZ Ride.1/ Their website is not up to date. They dont provide guided tour nor self guided tour anymore since the guy in charge of them left the company.They were supposed to send me a map with some point of interests to visit before my arrival (from Canada) but they never followed up. I had to plan my trip by myself.2/ I rented the BMW 650GS, a 2009 bike with 35k miles, for an 8 days trip in Arizona.After two days, I had an oil leakage, a weird metalic sound in the engine and the power supply for the GPS stopped working.The oil leakage was just a few drops but it never stopped and it ruined my pant.The metalic sound came from the chain.I readjusted it in a repair shop on the road but the sound continued.When I returned the bike at the end of my trip, the guy in charge of the maintenance told me that the chain was not enough lubricated and it was good to be replaced.I would have appreciated that he changed it before my trip...I have been refunded for the GPS.3/ Marjorie and Gaylen are very kind and helpful. Gaylen thoroughly showed me how to handle the bike and he gave me a few tips for my trip (roads to ride or not, things to see).He also gave me some advices during my trip to manage the issues on the bike (by myself...).Overall, I was expecting a better service when renting a motorcycle.

Horrible riding motorcycle. Kawasaki vulcan 900 missing saddle bag buckles windshield rattled and the bike had obviously not been road tested prior to our rental.Front end shook so bad I was never able to take a hand off the bars which shook so much both arms were numb most of the 600 mile ride. When we called to bring the bikes in early we were told we are welcome to bring them back early but still would have to pay for two days that remained.
