Fantastic donuts! One of the best Ive had! Very light and airy and even though theyre obviously sweet they dont feel like a big sugary overload. Would definitely recommend.

Even though I had to click at least one star for my review to be posted, I am giving the Scottsdale location 0 stars! Placed an order yesterday for my grandsons birthday today and when we went to pick up they misplaced our order and they never filled it. Seems very disorganized - orders were written down on a manila envelope and when I called to place the order the lady who answered the phone was taking my order and waiting on customers at the same time. I get that everyone is understaffed but to completely forget about filling an order and then not having the donuts available to complete the order is very poor management and customer service. I will stick to the drive of going to the Original Rainbow Donuts on Cave Creek Rd.

Its kinda expensive. i got 12 mixed donuts for about $24. i think you have to be there in the morning. otherwise they will run out of donuts. if you dont mind higher price and going in early then this is a good donut store :(

We used to go to another popular donut place but they are so unfriendly and overpriced. We went to Rainbow and ordered the same thing we always hot at the other place. At Rainbow, they were bigger, better tasting and even my kids mentioned how nice the staff is. We will now be going to Rainbow for all our donut needs.

Good fresh donuts! Ive been meaning to stop in as its close to my daughters school and we made it finally! I had an old fashioned that was great and she loved her sprinkles.Looking forward to getting a dozen next time with some donut holes and to try some of the savory breakfast foods.Update: went back for weekend donuts. Still delicious and the cake I got a taste of the cake donut, probably the best cake donut Ive had in the valley yet. Also got to try the croissant, both the ham and turkey (bacon was sold out and they were making more). Croissant was great, not supper puffy but stuffed croissants never are.

Um, go here today. These donuts are so fluffy, so fresh so light. The couple that runs the spot is super warm and inviting. The prices are really low. They open early and close early (sith of true donut shop, IMO). This spot is a gem!

I came here on a weekday morning and got an apple fritter, glazed cake, and cinnamon crumb. The apple fritter was amazing, and it was my favorite one. It was chewy inside and crunchy outside, and it was quite thick. The other two were pretty average, nothing to rave about; I did appreciate their freshness and not being too sweet. The three donuts came out to be $4.38 post-tax, a bit pricey but they were quite big.

I dont normally eat donuts, but when I do I want them to be the best. This is by far the best donut shop I know of in Phoenix. The lady that is always there (assuming owner) is always very friendly. Their donuts are excellent, and pricing is good. Definitely worth a stop :)

The owner came out and talked too us, he was very friendly and it was quite apparent that he cared very much about quality and his customers. I only walked passed this Donut Shop and did not enter the store. However, from what I have seen through the windows, this place has a wide variety of different Donuts to choose from. I will give this store a five star, because the place was pretty busy with several people carrying out boxes of Donuts.

Let me start by saying I LOVE DONUTS! Weve been visiting the Scottsdale area yearly since 2001 and its been a huge disappointment trying to find good quality. So when I researched again this year, I wasnt expecting big results. What we found was THE BEST DONUTS IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY! The assortment is phenominal - tons of filled donuts (which Scottsdale area stores dont even offer) but also a taste unlike any weve ever had. The flavors are natural, the ingredients are high quality, the freshness unheard of. (The dough rises back up after you take a bite!) During the 5 weeks we were in the area, we brought all our company to taste test. (Were talking 8 people.) Some were huge donut enthuasists, others (like from England who arent into sugary confections - not so much). A sister in law said You know Im not a sweets person but Ill give them a try reported that she not only loved the maple/bacon on top donuts, but that shed have one every day if we could bring her back. It was a tall order for us to declare to each of our guests that THESE ARE THE BEST DONUTS YOULL EVER TASTE! The owners are so dedicated and work so hard to provide customer satisfaction. On occasion, they will even find/make the perfect donut for you. Sure weve tried Duck Donuts, and Krispy Kreme - neither come close to these donuts! We have frequented our Erie, PA family run donut shop for over 45 years, and Im sorry to say that I dont even want to eat their donuts again....once youve had the best, you cant go back!!!! Dont waste another day without trying these delicious masterpieces. Even the simple glazed donut is out of this world! Our next years rental just happens to be located nearer to the store! And you can believe we are rethinking whether or not to add more days to our visit! Thanks so much Connie and your baker husband for such wonderful culinary memories!

Cant fault this place one bit for their donut selection. Theyre open early everyday and theres always something fun for the kids to try. My eldest will drag me out of bed on the weekend to take here to grab donuts for the house before daybreak. Cool place, even better family tradition.

Soooooo good! If you like Girl Scout cookies, try the Samoa donut. They also have great coffee. I tried the Hawaiian Hazelnut. The kids loved the glazed and chocolate iced with chocolate chips.

My girlfriend and I are very much into the fitness but she has a terrible donut weakness! This place has been in the neighborhood for a year and we never tried it until today unfortunately. The good news is this is the best donut place by far Ive ever had....... there isnt even a close second.
