The iced coffee was a concoction of chocolate, vanilla, breve, and COFFEE. Both the donut and coffee were satisfying. Only $37, a bargain! (not really)

So far from what I can tell, the vibes are really nice! If you enjoy coffee on the sweeter side, then this is the place for you. Their donuts are heavily coated with toppings and icings which make them aesthetically pleasing and great for people with a sweet tooth. As personal preferences go, I dont enjoy a lot of sugar which is why my review is on the lower side!

It was so worth the 25 minute drive with my girls to check out this cool little donut spot. They have vegan options which is perfect because one of my daughters is dairy free. And all of the six donuts that we purchased were all very tasty and unique. My daughters loved the pink alien and the pink sprinkles!!

Get here early, I mean 7am early. The best donuts go first. When they sell out the doors close. But while the donuts last you can request a DONUT ICECREAM SANDWICH! Out of this world amazing! Thier coco pebble topped astroid donut was very good too. I loved the spaced out theme of this place and you can buy alien souvineers here too.My favorite part of this place was a TV screen dedicated to showing spaced out pictures of disante planets. A Truely spacy adventure here.And NO the delivey guy does NOT dress up like an alien to deliver the donuts. I asked and was so dissapointed.So grab your little space cadets and have a spacy good time after the library story time here at the shop. It is right next to the public restrooms. Perfect location to hang out with little kids.

We came to alien donuts for the novelty, of course. Our 5 year old son is really into Aliens. The service we received was AWFUL. My son tried complimenting the decor to the employee (a tall man with long dreads), he was basically ignored...the employee was not friendly or enthusiastic. With a small business like this, which claims to employ chefs who all come from a long line of highly intelligent, creative and mindful species we all expected stellar service. We all left deflated. The man who served us did not smile, not once. He did not know much about the donuts either, when we asked. The donuts themselves were OK. The cake ones were dry. Such a disappointing experience. I hope the owners can find better employees in the future, for their own sake.

This was one of the best doughnuts I have ever had! We didn’t have a huge selection because we went later in the day, but it is totally worth it and will be coming back for more! Thank you guys!

Fun place to get ice cream or a doughnut. These doughnuts are not your typical or traditional doughnuts....they are out of this world, ha ha! No kidding aside these are some seriously fresh doughnuts with a twist from your typical maple bar or glazed. Very ingenious and delicious!

Tried the orange and strawberry donuts. Both were great but a bit dry since we went almost towards the end of the day. Donuts were porous and soft. I am sure they would taste amazing when fresh!!

Went the other day and got 4 donuts. My family liked theirs, but mine was definitely old. I felt like it was a left over from the day before donut. Disappointed in first experience, wont go back a second time.Other note, there is no where to park a car if you are driving to this place.

OK.Heres the deal, they have a cool theme and they stick to it.From the lamps to the names of the donuts, its all Galaxy theme.Props to that.The donuts also appear to be appetizing when you see them; very cool.Now,I went to the Apache location attached to The Rise, keep this in mind.- the donuts were put in a paper bag- which is fine for the Blueberry Galaxy, but not for the chocolate covered donut which was completely stripped from all of its frosting when removed from the bag.The blueberry donut has fresh blueberries which is amazing!However, its quite dense and unpalatable.The Boston to Mercury donut was just fine, but again, half the frosting was missing; much like the quality at this donut shop.three stars.

The workers here are always so friendly and efficient, but the products are subpar. Tried different coffee and redbull drinks but all have been less than good. Really thorough use of the alien theme throughout their physical store and products, just not a great taste.

These donuts were truly out of this world!!!! I absolutely loved the red velvet cake and original blueberry but honestly all of the donuts we got were delicious. They smell amazing so be prepared to eat every donut you get because you can’t walk past the box without taking a bite. They truly have some of the most unique donuts ever and they taste great too! Will be back for more!

The alien theme is nice but I mean 3 bucks for one donut?! Any other donut place, (Krispy Kreme and hurts donuts) are way tastier and have better prices. I mean the Boston to Mercury donut (which is just a Boston cream pie donut) for 3 bucks when any grocery store sells that same donut for maybe a dollar. I also tried the drinks and the flavors were similar to a rebel from the Dutch nearby but the sizing was fairly small. Better off grabbing your drinks at Dutch and getting donuts for the half the price anywhere else.

This place is so cute! They have many different options of donuts and all are very delicious. We stopped by before getting on our flight early in the morning and the donuts and coffee were fresh! So yummy!

Took my daughter here this morning - it’s officially our new favorite place. She loved all the alien pictures and statue out front, and said her donut was “delicious”. I agree - the maple bacon donut was amazing. Coffee was great as well, and the folks working there were very friendly. We definitely look forward to coming back and trying all the other donuts - they have an impressive variety and some very interesting creations. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I live above the new location in Tempe and really wanted to love this place. Last night, I got a small strawberry glazed donut and it was very dry. Oh, and it was over $3 dollars for a single glazed donut?! Cmon, I get it for the tricked out donuts but for a simple glazed donut thats very excessive. Unfortunately, I dont plan on going back to this place again. Save your coin and go to Krispy Cream or even Safeway for a glazed donut, I promise theyll taste better than what I got.

Alien Donuts created several dozen donuts for us to serve at our brunch wedding. They were beautiful, delicious, and ready for us to pick up right on time. Even with short notice, they gave us wonderful customer service and were happy to help make us something special. With the short notice, we weren’t expecting anything custom and they went above and beyond to create us a special ‘cutting cake’ donut and an assortment of donuts with our wedding colors.

Finally a donut shop that puts plenty of apples in their apple fritters!!!! Great selection of donuts and some really cool specialties that dont hide the donut under a mass of toppings. Their maple bacon and bourbon vanilla bar are 2 of my favorites.

I had a vegan selection.Unfortunately, no vegan ice cream options.The person working the counter did the job efficiently, which is Always appreciated, however, they werent the friendliest, leaving the feeling that I best be on my way asap. Not particularly motivated to make an effort to come back, but I wouldnt refuse if I my party wanted donuts.

The customer service was amazing but the donuts were dry and old.

We only got a half dozen, but the ones we got were so good. The apple fritter with the cinnamon, honey, and vanilla icing was incredible. The cannoli donut was also a hit! The employee working was super friendly. It was an all around great experience!

I cant describe how good Alien Donuts is. Alien is a donut store with the craziest, but BEST donuts. Who has ever seen a donut covered in Fruity Pebbles!? Everybody that works here is SUPER nice. If you are a tourist or live in AZ, come here!

The name of it sounded really interesting but it was just a standard donut shop. It does have a good variety that I didnt have a chance to try. I got the red velvet donut and wasnt impressed. Tasted a bit dry or stale, I wonder if its been there too long. Still some other options looked really good so I guess you have to try.

The maple long John is amazing. It was also same for my son with a peanut allergy. Friendly staff too. I would recommend for people coming out of state to visit to grab a box for the stay.

This place is awesome! The alien theme is hilarious and makes for some rad looking donuts. The alien head, UFO, star and astronaut donuts looked so cool, but I chose a vanilla frosting with crumbled Takis on top. It was light and fluffy with the perfect amount of chew to the dough and the crumbled Takis added a mild tinge of heat to contrast the set vanilla frosting. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the place was very clean. A fun place to grab a sweet midday snack or a dozen or so fun donuts for friends or work.

Cool concept and idea and the best part - very fresh tasting and delicious. The coco crisp donut was really good. Line moves fast.

Popular place. I had 3 Donuts 2 tasted great the other one was just alright. As Meatloaf famously said two out of three aint bad. Service was good and the coffee was awesome. The donut case seemed half empty though. It was 9:30 am so that doesnt seem like a good thing. When you look in the window you see the back of their napkin counter, that doesnt scream come inside and once inside your grated with a giant shelf with ingredients on it that seems out of place. Ill come back, the red velvet donut was out of this world. Get it? Aliens? Whatever.

I’m vegan and had to drive 30 minutes just for a vegan donut and it was worth the drive. Update: you guys should add simple donuts to the vegan menu.

Tastes out of this world!

Their vegan donuts are the best you can get. Normally what you find with vegan donuts is a lot of oil which leaves your mouth with a very oily after taste. However not with these donuts they are damn near perfect!

Visit this place back in September! The two men working were so helpful and kind ! I didnt save the pictures of the donuts but i promise they are worth it 👌

Nice place, friendly worker. However all the donut were almost sold out at 2:00. I was looking for the main donut which is the green alien. I guess next time I have to be there when they open.

Coffee, ice cream and doughnuts. Yes to all of that. I would have said five stars but I went for four because I was told that the green start shaped doughnut had pop rocks on top, which I second guessed but ordered anyway, and it ended being rock candy so watch out for that.Other then that this place rocks. There was a tiny selection of doughnuts but still a good variety to suite the masses. Ice cream is always a must and you cant usually go wrong.

The one time I went there was during a convention near by and I was with my cousin and uncle during that week we were in state. We tried to stop by during open hours and it was closed. No explanation for why it’s closed and the website doesn’t say anything about being closed. It also says open on google maps. Very disappointing.

5 stars for the taste. I love supporting a local company especially one that offers vegan donuts which I can’t even tell are vegan they’re light and airy like the non vegan ones. This is a go to for my partner and I. However, I will have to say the service can be better- good thing I go for the donuts.

Stopped by Alien Donuts today and let me just say how impressed I am with this concept. I’m plain Jane and got a glazed donut! Let me just say how heavenly it was! Delicious! The staff is very friendly and the gal at the front was so sweet. I sat outside conversing while enjoying my donut, and there was a mother and her two children enjoying their donuts as well... they seemed to love the decor and I couldn’t help but to smile at how both children stood there counting how many aliens they could find. Such a family friendly shop! I would definitely go back. David, what a great concept and good work!

The donuts are amazing and reasonably priced. They have a ton of different options. Coffee options are limited but the coffee is good. All seating is outside so its naturally COVID friendly. Staff is friendly. Definitely going back soon.

Super unique aesthetic (which is what initially drew us in). We got a blueberry chocolate donut, and it was delicious. Definitely make sure you ask what flavor each donut is, because the flavor of some are different than what youd expect!

Found this place through Instagram and Im glad I visited. Super cool outer space aesthetic and the donuts were really good. Probably would go earlier. I had seen a blue donut that looked super cool but when we showed up they didnt have any (not sure if they were sold out or if its seasonal). I believe I bought a mocha swirl [marbled donut] and an astronaut donut. Didnt have any of the coffee but they had a wide variety of options

Im not a donut man but getting at 6 a.m. to drive then to sit outside in chilly Scottsdale was more than made up by the quality of these cakes highly recommended. Basically it puts all the fuss people make up about Krispy Kreme being great into perspective. Those people are quite quite wrong,& keeping with the alien theme on ,a galactic scale. Really good selection for those with vegan and lactose intolerant needs.

This is a must do when in Scottsdale! We always visit when we are in town. They have the best donuts. And the owner is amazing! Recently, they were closed and my 5 year old son was heartbroken. The owner saw us and took us inside where he showed us how the donuts are made and sent us out with free donuts.

Went in this morning (10/11/2020) after finding this place searching it on Google figured with four stars it would be pretty decent. The place itself is dimly lit and a little bit dingy. I ordered a hot coffee and got a poorly made hot chocolate instead. They didnt even bother to stir in the hot chocolate mix there was just a big chunk of it sitting at the cups bottom after I dumped out the liquid from it. The donuts were sub par as well. Honestly, donuts and coffee at circle K is a safer bet. Will not be going back again and do not advise this place at all.

Amazing donuts! I was here the other day and knew I had to stop by to try it out. I did not regret my decision one bit and will definitely come back again when I’m in Old Town!

They dont wear mask inside. The baking team doesnt wear mask, one girl hardly wears gloves or has her hair up, constantly finding hair everywhere. Not a good play to work at. Hired in saying this that and the other then once in I was told the opposite. I was there for a weak and four people. Including their manager, walked out. The owner doesnt care about anything but his profit. Doesnt give benifits or a livable wage. But has a meeting and tells us all about his recent trip to Vegas and other expensive personal plans he has comming up. I applied for another job and turns out the wife of the manager who walked out was conducting it only to figure out the gossip of whats gone on since he left. I was ridiculed for looking for another job while working there. I didnt tell them I was working. The manager who walked out messaged owner and said I need to keep my mouth shut or else. I dont like it when I am threatened simple for looking for work. I didnt even bad mouth the company or anyone there. The whole experience was unprofessional unsafe, and just poppycock.

I have been here 3 times, and each time has been great. The staff is very friendly, the quality is spot on, and the donuts are so tasty! The red velvet is so fluffy and lightly iced, not overly sweet. The apple fritter is lightly fried to a crispy/light texture and with enough sweetness to take care of that early morning sugar craving. The signature donuts look amazing so that gives me a another reason to keep going back They also serve ice cream and various drinks which makes for an ideal after dinner spot. There is seating inside as well as outside which makes for a perfect after dinner spot. This is a great little gem in Old Town that I really recommend.

Worst donuts Ive ever eaten. They sit heavy on your stomach like lead. They use the cheapest ingredients. I couldnt even finish half of the donut. I dont see how anyone could think these donuts have a good flavor. So gross! They must have a lot of friends giving those reviews.
