Absolutely LOVED watching my hot sandwich sit on the counter for 10 minutes (waited 10 minutes in line already just to put in an order in the 1st place) while they worked on other peoples subs. Ice cold. Still put that hot sandwich price in though! After waiting so long in line and so long for my actual food, I don’t even have time on my break for any other options. Now I’m stuck paying close to $7 for something I no longer want to eat, or resort to eating a snack food for lunch. It’s not the 1st time I’ve had issues here either. Some people working the sub line really seem to hate working there. Time to start trying other places around here for lunch.

All of the staff members were helpful and took time to answer questions. This was especially helpful since this was my first time shopping and I was not familiar with the store layout.

Ive always been a fan of Publix supermarkets as theyre great places to shop. However, this one is brand new and really, really nice! Big upgrade over the Publix it replaced up the street. The store is quite large, but well laid out. The parking lot feels a bit smaller than the old one, but theres still plenty of room. Publix never disappoints 👍

Nice upgrade from having shopped the smallest Publix (Sarasota Commons) in town for decades....something of which I never knew. I specifically enjoy the self checkout stations(6). A nice layout too. Finally a Supermarket that upgrades the Plaza a bit. Remember when Kash N Karry was here then Sweetbay. For whatever reason, this Plaza has always had trouble drawing a substantial customer base. I think this Publix will be a mainstay though.

I found it to be BIG. However I like the way they set up their Deli and Sandwich Line. Very efficient. It has a lot of great product. Even find my particular Ginger Ale there on occasion. Set up differently than many publix as far as the floor plan but worth the time to find out. You will find a lovely olive bar as well

Publix, its the best there is! Always find I retesting new things, well stocked. Many healthy choices.

Vegetarian items are almost non-existent, including shelf items and frozen items. Bread area was pitiful. No sugar free breads and no sour dough. This new store lacks a lot of items that I shop which was always available at the older store. I now prefer Winn Dixie.

Service is the usual bad. Prices are high. The bagger had my cart in his hand and then gave it back to me outside since there was someone else whose cart was fuller....unbelievable...and he was helping them instead.

I got it. You get a lot of online orders. But when you have to clerks behind the counter one should make the online orders and other help costumers in line. Me and another lady waited for almost 10 minutes to be helped. Well, the sub was really good, just need to work in the efficiency of your “production line”.

Wonderful atmosphere, great selection, and the subs/sandwiches are delicious! Always get myself a chicken sandwich here, Subway cant compare. Better portion size and price.Only problem is I have noticed ribeye steaks have gone from 10.99 a lb to 19.99 a lb within a few months. I do find that to be quite steep. And I dont think that beef prices from farms has doubled in price in the last 60 days. Bit of a shame. Will start going to butcher shops instead.

This store has a phenomenal deli! Always good hot food ready. The bakery is one to brag about! If you havnt yet I suggest picking up one of there fresh baked pack of cookies, they are the best! My favorite are the chocolate chip cookies but I have yet to try any that were anything less delicious!

If you tell a manager how great an employee was , that employee gets a free sandwich from the deli. Small kick back for dealing with deplorable humans. The food alone that has to be thrown away is insane. Feed the people who feed you people! Not an employee Im just a pain when it comes to my subs and make sure the maker is compensated for having to service me

This is usually a great store. Today the person manding the soup bar just stepped right in front of me with no regard for me as a customer. He was checking an adequate supply. He could have excused himself and acknowledged me as a customer.

Publix is a great grocery store but its prices are basically the same prices as Anchorage fred meyer in Alaska. But here you have sales check so the 3.99 a pound tomatoes are more expensive than the 3.99 a lb tomatoes in Anchorage.

Way too large and very difficult parking especially for handicapped people. Very slow service at the pharmacy. I will not be coming back to this location.

Scott the bagger offered to help me to car, i said no thank u,. However?, i had slipped in an earlier accident last year and was hurting awful. I walked out to car struggling putting groceries in car Scott was behind me helping me i didnt know he was their. I said i have nothing to give Scott said we are not permitted to take tips. I thought it was me and today was my last straw I’ve noticed every time I go in this store I do not get the same treatment as many others customer that don’t look like me. I can hardly get a greeting from a employee yet Alone god forbid they hand me my bags. Which I noticed that this is something that they do for other customers while I get to check out they just leave my bags there for me to pick them up myself I don’t even say goodbye.Half of those cashiers don’t even look me in my eye at this point I’d rather just go to self check out or not come there at all because it’s clear why I’m being treated the way I do when I come in that store.

Its a newer facility, easier access to Fruitville and Beneva. Customer service is excellent at this particular branch. Great deli section too.

Newest Publux in the area. Fresh sushi, fresh deli area, loads of workers around for help and overall good folks in this location 👍They have a great seating area up some hidden stairs with plugs and wifi to boot if you want to relax 😌

Good: New store just opened 2020.11.12. Nicest Publix around with wide aisles and open ceiling design. Best feature is a 2nd floor balcony area with tables where you can sit and eat while watching everyone shop. Upstairs seating area is well stocked with condiments, plastic utensils, sink, and even a microwave.Store manager Sergio and everyone else there are very helpful.Bad: As with all Publix stores the prices tend to be higher than some other places.

I love this new look for them and theyve made it so easy finding what youre looking for faster than ever with the super high ceilings and products category labels. And they have a wonderful and helpful staff.

Very new Publix. Its somewhat difficult to locate items you want. The produce section is in a weird location. Customer Service is in a very inconvenient area right by the front door. It gets backed up a lot, and you have to maneuver around the lines to get into the store. Prices in all departments have gone up. I dont shop here much due to the Jenkins family heirs giving so much money to evil Republicans and nut case evil Trump. I now shop elsewhere.

Clean, organized. Missing a couple products I usually buy there but found suitable replacements with ease.

Always out of stock have to go to two, publix to get everything, keep thinking g it will change but doesnt, think I may have to just go to honore and fruitville

When I first shopped the new store, I didnt like it. But the turning point for me was the EXTRA friendly and helpful staff. They are awesome.I have become accustomed to the layout of the store, because it is a LOT different than other PUBLIX stores.Put together the new layout and the extra friendly and helpful staff and its a win-win for me.

I worked a little late, so no time to cook...so I go by Publix to the deli to get some chicken & some sides instead. I get there around 7:00pm & theres not a piece of chicken anywhere in the deli, not an 8pc, no chicken wings, no nothing. Ive never seen it bare like that before, so tells me it was probably that way long before I got there. I wish I could share the pictures I took of their chicken section on here. So, myself & 2-3 other people waited around for 20-30 minutes while they scrambled to the back to cook more. I get that they dont want to waste food, but being out of chicken or other deli foods around 6:00 is unacceptable unless you want to operate this new store in the same substandard fashion as the old location you just moved from. Pathetic!

Not enough cashiers. No express line was open. No supervision appeared to be available. Very disappointing shopping experience.

All the store associates were so helpful and when I got to the checkout and asked where the tylenol was the very nice gentlman who was bagging my groceries asked me what kind and went and got it for me. He went above and beyond for me which made my day and that is rare nowadays especially during covid.

The staff were very friendly and helpful they had everything that I was looking for and the cakes were very tasty.

Publix is always excellent.The staff treats their customers very well.I had a propane tank exchange today. The new tank was ready to go in my rolling cooler when I got outside to meet the employee.The store location is very convenient for the Melody Heights subdivision.

I was trying to purchase the Mardi Gras chicken wings today for my family. I started at the crossing location deli counter and she informed me that she was the only one there and was sold out. And advised me to call the new store on Beneva. Extremely happy that she did. Adam at the deli took my order over the phone and placed my order for 45 minutes for pickup.

Where Shopping is a Pleasure!! Such a True Logo. This Publix has an Awesome Deli!! It is made like a Wawa Deli. It is Awesome! My phone was charging, but I will definitely have pictures of the inside next time.

Place was very clean employee helped me look for what I was looking for thanks Publix.

Really upset with the lack of customer service in this new Publix. I was so stoked and counted down the days until this new location opened. The deli counter has barely anyone working. No matter what day or time I go there it’s always 1 person in the deli. I feel guilty ordering deli meat because there is always a line. Also the section for pub subs looks great but the last 3 times I’ve gone the section was empty and I had to wait for deli slicers to finish up to help make subs. Which wasn’t a big deal but like I said there is only ever 1 person in the deli counter. We went today to get subs, around 4 in the afternoon. They had no more chicken tenders to make us a chicken tender sub and when asked for a specific boars head meat the gentlemen helping seemed like he did not want to cut the meat for us. We have also ordered our deli meat pick up twice through the app and when we arrived to the store about 45-60 mins later, the deli meat was not even cut yet. What a bummer. We also had a big issue in December for my gf’s birthday. We ordered a chantilly cake, balloons and a flower arrangement. Even spoke to the manager who told us to arrive on the day and he would have it all ready for us. When we arrived there was nothing in site. No flowers, no cake or balloons. Thankfully I had spoken to guest services and they got on it right away. I’m not sure if maybe with the bigger store they don’t have the correct staff or did not have proper time to train the staff. Hopefully they see this, hire more staff for the deli and make some adjustments.
