People that work in front desk are great, the assistant manager is great; however, the manager Alan is not helpful at all. They put the wrong battery to my car making the terminal positive to lose contact. My car stopped many times while driving, and lights turned off and on many times. I went to their service many times to fix the issue and they always said everything is good. Mr. Alan did not care anything I told him. One day my car stopped in the middle of the highway in Tampa and I was not be able to move the wheel (wheel was locked), so I went to Hyundai in Tampa and they found out the mistake (after two weeks). A mistake which was made it by Hyundai in Sarasota. I spent money in Tampa to fix this issue and paid for a rental car for two weeks. The problem was that they put a battery that was not meant for the model of my Sonata 2015.I made an appointment to talk to Mr. Alan about all what I had to pay because of their mistake. He changed my battery but refused to pay what I had to pay in Hyundai Tampa for their mistake. I spent over $500 for their mistake. Since the last time that my car stopped because of the issue of the battery, the lights of the dashboard are on and the sensors for blind points are not working. He does not care, he would recommend you to take the car somewhere else to find the problem, and once you know the problem spend the money in his location.I loved my car, but I am changing it for a Nissan after the awful service in this location.

Terrible experience. Brought a car in only for warranty service, and they said there was also a recall to update ECM. Two days later, they said the car was ready. When I went to pick it up, I hadnt even turned the engine on, when I plugged in my OBD2 reader, and there were 2 new fault codes. They had me leave the car overnight again. The next day I didnt hear anything until the end of the day that it was ready to pick up and supposedly no more fault codes were showing. Same thing when I got there, I immediately plugged in my OBD2 reader, and there was now another new fault code related to the throttle actuator. Which was something that they were trying to sell me on an induction service for $145 earlier before the fault code started showing. Its shady that the fault code only started showing after I turned down the service and they had my car for another day after that. The service rep has the nerve to say, maybe if you stop plugging in your code reader, there wont be any new fault codes which in itself sounded suspiciously like a warning. They wont explain why these new fault codes started showing during their warranty and recall servicing. Theyve had my car for 4 full days, for a simple warranty service, and now they wont answer their phones when I call. The manager wont return calls either. Ive previously had recall service here before without issues, so I dont know what changed, but I would strongly suggest finding another location thats more responsive and trustworthy.

If you like waiting 2 hours for an oil change this is the place to go!! Not only will it take a very long time but they are also going to tell you that there multiple things wrong with car when in fact there is nothing wrong majorSCAMMMING going on. I feel bad for the people that dont have much knowledge of vehicles and get railroaded by these people. They wanted to charge me 66.11 for a filter that cost 15$. By the way i replaced just 7 days ago!! On top of that they upgraded my oil change to synthetic without informing that its a 30$ upgrade what a joke. Not going back and i hope this finds the poor people that have been takin advantage of by this dealership.

I purchased a 2012 Hyundai Genesis from Gettel of Sarasota the finance manager told me he would not sale me this car unless I bought a warranty because of it being a used car and he said that the car was 90% electronic and was way to expensive to fix if anything went wrong with the electronics. My wife and I talked and agreed that maybe he was right being we were using the car to drive back and forth to Tampa General hospital as she was about to have a Kidney Transplant in a couple days and we needed reliable transportation for her procedure and months of follow up. We were astonished at the price of the warranty but bought it never the less. After a few months sure enough we had 3 different electronic problems with our car. We took the car back to Gettel to be repaired and was told our warranty did not cover any electronics except a starter. We asked to speak to the finance manager and was told he was no longer employed there, we asked to speak to the store manager and was told he was not available. We left our name and number and never received a call back. Went back to the store a week later and received the same results. SHAME on you Gettel... we are stuck with a crippled car and a expensive warranty that covers nothing.... don’t be fooled as we were in our our of need by these deceiving people

This is the worst service department I have ever been too. I was ignored when I pulled in. One woman in the intake section (Megan) was phenomenally rude. My service man Dan doesn’t appear to know what he is talking about. The repair guy is currently “STRUGGLING” with the replacement of my door handle. I am already here 4 hours. I guarantee that when I take my car elsewhere they will suggest that the repairs they cited are not necessary.. I do not make complaints like this normally. I have never been treated this badly. They do not deserve 1 Star.

Took 2 days to replace a horn and change the oil. When I got the car back it was missing two clips that hold a cover next to the radiator cap on so now I have to take it back to get the clips installed.
