I normally do my own work but sometimes you gotta admit when youve been beat! Had an issue that i just couldnt pin point (electrical) Brought it here and he nailed it as well as found another issue i was unaware of! Hes fair on prices. He honestly could charge more for hus diagnostic work. Works on all makes. Thats a big deal in the auto world! Great customer service and very professional!

Dave did a great job with my vehicle. I brought in a g35 that was sitting for a while, he fixed 2 oil leaks and replaced my radiator. He was very communicative and addressed my concerns before he started the repair. Found my new mechanic!

I brought my car to them to have the air conditioner fixed. I told them I believe it was just the air conditioner clutch. They said everything was wrong and bad and I needed a complete AC system overhaul. The cost was over $2,000 end and then the owner offer to purchase my car for that amount. I brought the car home and fixed it for $50

Car Tune Up has been professionally taking care of my vehicle for three years. They give an estimate; which they honour. They give a time in which the service will be complete;d always honoured. I have compared pricing; theirs is comparable or less. All personnel are very knowledgeable and very, very courteous. And, all the work they perform, is guaranteed! And my car is always returned clean! I had engine recall work done at a dealer....when I opened the hood of my car .... there was grease and sand!! which was so bad, I needed to have the engine cleaned. If you want your car to be in the care of true caring professionals ; I highly recommend Car Tune Up!

Truly honest mechanic shop. While on vacation in Siesta Key, I brought my hybrid here because I smelled coolant burning, and inverter coolant was visibly low. David Desisto and team smelled the coolant, but they couldnt find a leak, and suspected Id driven through something.They topped off the coolant, sent me on my way, and told me to come back if issue returns. They charged me $0. Wow. Wish I lived near this shop!

I had a slow puncture on my rental car. I called by and the owner agreed to look at it straight away. The puncture was repaired and we were on our way in less than 30 minutes. Repair charge was very reasonable.

Car Tune Up has been providing dependable, competent local service for years. I have always received the best customer care from David and his team. They do their best to get my car in and out in the shortest time possible. So lucky to have found such a good shop for my car.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I took my car to these guys because Im having an issue with my A/C control. Ive asked the boss if they can fix it, and he said sure, we can fix anything. Obviously they couldnt fix the problem but broke one of the dashboard panels. If youre thinking to give them a chance believe me, you better avoid stress and try to find a real expert.

I love this car shop! They have helped me on multiple occasions. I used to get my oil changed at places I could find good deals at- thinking hey an oil change is an oil change Ill just get it for as cheap as I can! Wrong. An oil change place found one belt cracked in my car and suggested I get it replaced. So I took it here needing it done at the last minute for a road trip. They quickly fit me in, changed the belt, and found another completely cracked belt that was wearing so thin it definitely would have broken on my trip! Completely saving me from a breakdown if I would have just let the oil change place fix just the first and only belt they found.The oil changes here are complete and thorough. When they find something wrong with your car, they will let you know right away how crucial it is to get fixed, or whether it can wait. They dont try to get it fixed right then and there because they want your money. They build a trust with you. They are reliable and so nice.As a female, I often felt like some of the places I had gone to were just trying to upgrade my packages to make me pay for things I didnt need. This place definitely doesnt do that!The prices are VERY fair. If you have AAA they offer a discount, and do not overcharge you for anything. They dont add labor hours just to make your bill higher.

My family has been going here for years, so, when I bought a newer vehicle, I started coming here, too. Great mechanics who treat you right. Fair prices, I feel confident driving my car. Both my car & I are in safe hands!

Autozone told me i needed an alternator. I went to car tune up.They said it was my battery, not alternator. I was in and out in an hour.My only complaint would be 10$ shop parts fee. For changing battery? 20$ labor o.k., my 125$ battery became 155$.But theyre honest, fast, friendly.Long established repair shop.Ill go again
