Baba & Juan were nothing short of perfection. I brought in several important and valuable family heirloom pieces to be reset, resized, redesigned and fixed. These were pieces sitting for far too long in my jewelry box because I didn’t trust anyone to work on them. While we chatted about what I wanted done, they polished the jewelry I personally wore in free of charge! They gave me hundreds of options for settings, had years of knowledge and helped me understand what would work with the different stones and golds. They were in constant communication with me about what was going on and the work was fast & professional. However, what was most important to me when dealing with expensive and sentimental pieces: they were honest, trustworthy, and fair on pricing. I won’t go to anyone else or any other shop in California except Luxe Jewelry.

I was looking online for a place to sell a vintage Rolex that had been passed down to me. I first called and spoke with someone who was nice and explained to get a true valuation on the watch I needed to come in with the papers and box. In the heart of Pacific Beach, this jewelry store really is a treasure, the staff is extremely knowledgable and beyond helpful! I was window shopping and I was immediately drawn in by the pieces, they have beautiful antiques, as well as red carpet ready jewelry. But my sole reason for the review is the exquisite engagement and wedding rings. Will definitely be returning before Valentines day and may even use their loan service as well. :)

Last week my grandmother gave me a family ring passed down from my great, great, grandmother... the ring was way too small to even fit on the top of my finger (my grandmother had gotten it resized too small and left it that way), so I needed to get it resized but had no idea where to go. I live in Pacific Beach so I called Luxe because it was the first one to pop up and I talked to Juan who told me he didnt work with silver himself but understood my situation and offered to call around to his friends and see who would be best fit to take good care of my ring for me.He made it his personal mission to take care of my family jewel and I am so grateful for it! luckily he had someone he trusted, so I dropped it off and he personally drove the ring to the other jeweler and had it fixed in just two days! I am one to appreciate a good honest person and recognize one when I meet them and Juan is one of those people! He will take the best care of your jewelry and teach you little tricks of the trade along the way! Great service and great people!!
