I was looking to diversify our portfolio some; and have some reliable, tangible assets vice the mostly stock approach. I did my research starting at the source the US Mint. I was eventually referred to BlueVault. I called with questions. David called me back within and hour listened and answered my questions thoroughly. It was a pleasant conversation. A few days later, I called again with additional questions, and spoke to Michael. He was also pleasant and professional on the phone.I conducted the purchase via financial wire which garnered a small discount as well as a $5 per ounce discount for a bulk purchase. Once all funds had cleared the order was placed, received within a week. I drove down and sat with Dawson to arranged a storage box in the vault (at a military discount), and sign for my purchase. Which was thoroughly counted out in front of me. I received cash change for the unspent part of the wire transfer. I was given a thorough explanation of the facility, security and access procedures, biometric scanning and other requirements.I am completely satisfied with my purchase, the active engagement of each member of the team I dealt with, and communication from all parties. Reading some of these reviews I can only surmise that they work for a competitor and were fishing for any way they could get them in a legal bind or they were simply leaving a bad review such as the pawn shop guy, because he is a competitor. Lol its plainly obvious to me as Ive received nothing but 5 Star treatment at this facility and Ive been renting here for years. Weather Im coming in like a whirlwind at 550 scrambling to grab a thing or three or just popping in to pay my yearly rent (i choose to just pay by the year) Ive literally had nothing but a stellar customer service experience. Pay no attention to the hags with negative bs to spout. Thats NOT blue vault. Its haters gunna hate. Def recommend!

Each contact I have had with this office has been a disappontment and I have sought out another vendor for bullion transactions in San Diego. The other vendor has shown patience and has offered in depth analysis of the bullion market that has enhanced my consumer knowledge of the business while being compeltely like-minded in our thoguhts about the future of the US economy and bullion market. This level of service is sorely lacking at Blue Vault in San Diego. They are an impatient discount-transactional bullion business only. If that is your need in order to save a few dollars on a transaction then by all means go to Blue Vault San Diego.AND NOW the owner has decided to mislead in his reply. He states that I have made multiple inquiries and he has told me they cannot offer advice. NOT TRUE. I have never asked for investment advice. In fact I used to be a licensed investment adviser with AMEX so I am very familiar with rules regarding what makes for advice and what is sharing information about facts like the history of the price of silver or the current national debt. The only inquiries I made of Blue Vault were to ask what their hours are and if I could scan the coin I bought using their scanner. The other vendor I mentioned is just so much more pleasant to deal with. The owner/manager could have opted for just saying Im sorry but instead has taken this to a new low level by lying about me in order to attempt to save face. A simple Im sorry how can we do better and I probably would have come back. But to now lie to save face shows a lack of fundamental integrity. There is another, much wealthier person in town with the same name. Perhaps he got confused.

I appreciate the fact that their pricing is transparent on their website, and I cant find better prices anywhere else. Clean and professional environment for sure.
