I cant remember ever having so. much care. All the employees are professional friendly, customer oriented. Dr Janet was easy to talk to. Explained everything in detail. Funny guy and very knowledgeable. Ive already told so many people. Im a stylist and I love sharing.

Customer service is the worst I have seen. I was told glasses would be ready in 10 days. After two weeks I called and they stated the order had not been placed. Waited another two weeks and I had to call them again only to find out there’s a problem with the lens lab. I had to call them instead of them calling me and letting me know what the issues were. It’s like nobody really cares. I would go someplace else for glasses. This place is terrible and overprice

You won’t find a better doctor than Dr. Janiuk! My children were struggling with reading and he assisted with determining why. They are on their way to a successful school year!

Third time the charm for remaking glasses to get them to work? Nope!, just gave up after that.

I was so glad to see my doctor of many years, Dr. Janiuk, who previously had a private practice before joining Total Vision. He always rates a 10 with me because he takes time to be a person who cares. He listens as well as gives a comprehensive eye exam.The team was very helpful with insurance and with selecting eye glasses. I look forward to picking up my new glasses. Great job everyone!

I have been going to Total Vision Care for twenty years. When my insurance changed, I tried another optometrist, but they couldnt get my complicated prescription correct. I went back to to TVC of course, and they got it right. Their staff is kind and patient. Im beyond thankful for their care.

This place is waaaaay too over priced and under staffed,i ended up paying $300 out of pocket for my appointment when i could have just gone to Walmart and paid $110 for the same exact eye exam,i waited 15 minutes after my appointment time,and then was doctor did not even clean the equipment adter the last appointment was finished very unsanitary, will not be coming back here made a huge mistake.

I was extremely impressed with the thorough exam Dr. Limpado completed during my visit. Since I am a type 2 diabetic, Dr. Limpiado explained in detail the reason she was completing such an extensive examination. Over the years I had many eye examinations but this was a first where my eye doctor explained every step and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Finally, my exam ended with Dr. Limpado discussing my diabetic numbers and encouraging me to continue seeking my PCP as requested as a continuum of care to control my diabetes. To anyone seeking a great Ophthalmologist especially those with a preexisting condition that is at risk for eye disease, Dr. Limpado will be an excellent choice.

The entire staff is incredibly helpful and professional. The office is spacious and clean with state-of-the-art technology. Great selection of glasses too. I highly recommend Total Vision Care.

I went in for Vision Therapy with, he was amazing!!! I was greeted by a really friendly staff and also as I left. They were very professional and courteous.

If youre nerodivergent, and have eye issues stemming from nerodivergence, you might have the annoying quirk of wanting your medical professionals to treat you like a person, and not awed at the fact you can string two words together. You may also want them to inform you of your testing results instead of having to call at least three times over a two week period just to get them. and then when you get them, you would like them to at the very least, get your age, name, and gender right.if you would like all these things, then go to a better place that wont give you permanent anxiety about explaining your nerodivergence to another medical provider.if their vision therapist cant even keep his mask over his nose in a global pandemic, it is time for a new place.

Total Vision Care really does put the customer first and I will continue to business with them!—————————————————————Wouldn’t recommend getting outside frames lensed here. They warped one of my frames and will not do anything about it. Kind of disappointing. Otherwise the staff here is extremely friendly and helpful.

The worst place to your lense prescription. You call them to get a copy of your prescription, and they tell you that the system is down and cant send you the prescription then suggesting you to come in for additional service. Had to call multiple times to get my prescription. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have been waiting on my contacts to be delivered for nearly two months now. Each week when I call for an update, I get a variation of the same story - Well call the lab and check, Oh theyll resend here so they dont get lost in the mail, etc. etc. Ive remained extraordinarily patient with their staff but its maddening that I have to keep calling to check in on the status. Meanwhile Im without contacts and my glasses keep fogging up from my covid-mask. Get it together Total Vision Care! Oh and by the way, these contacts will be our last transaction.

Overall experience a year ago was okay. All locations will automatically set up appointments for you without your permission. This is annoying because now you have to call them to change it versus you being able to set it up on your own time.

No respect for patients time.Had an appointment last week that they canceled the night before. Now we are finally rescheduled and they took my daughter back an hour after her appointment. Then she sat in the room alone bc of COVID protocol for another 20 min.They need to learn how to manage their schedule. I don’t like when Drs value their own time so much more than their patients.

I have been going to Total Vision Care for close to 14 years and from day 1 Dr. Hayes has been great! Its always a comfortable professional & friendly atmosphere in the office.

I showed up on 12/31 determined not to miss using my insurance benefits by years end. Autumn hustled & jumped through hoops to make it work. When I wanted some adjustments to my new glasses, they were very helpful with that as well. When it was determined I’d be better off with new lenses, Alex ordered them for me at no cost. I’m actually extremely pleased with their customer service!

Im redoing my review. It sometimes takes them a while to get things done, but heres the bottom line for me: Their ability to make quality corrective lenses has paid off in spades. I woke up this morning with there being yet again another improvement, and my double vision is now more of a fragmented vision withOUT wearing my glasses as my eyes inch their way back to seeing straight again.The truth is, outside of the frustration with what I perceived as delays, my vision is still correcting. I was resigned to the possibility that I could only get so far, but with the regular improvements Ive been seeing, it seems VERY likely that I will be getting my entire range of normal vision back :).Quality takes time, and so in that regard Ive decided to be more patient, because the benefits I have gained from these glasses have given me a level of hope that did not exist when I first came to visit them. Awesome stuff.

From the time I approached the front door( it was locked ) to the time I walked out, everything was handled smoothly and with CDC guidelines. I felt totally safe and my eye care needs were met. I had to have a lot of tests for some ongoing issues, everything was explained in detail and future care noted.

Good quality doctors and a friendly staff. Felt very confident that I was getting the best quality eye care available.

Aug 2019 - DO NOT GO HERE. I would give 0 stars if it let me.Terrible service, expensive and takes a month for the glasses. Be careful. Several times they tried to push insurance on the lower priced glasses which costs more out of pocket. After three itemized price reviews I ordered two pair and was told they would arrive in a week. I received a call a week later that the glasses were not ordered and it was an additional $200 because the insurance was not applied properly. I cancelled one pair and the refund was not processed. I called a week later for the status of the refund and they asked to collect the money instead. Everything has been worked out after several phone calls. Glasses will arrive 1 month after the exam. Would not go back and definitely not recommend.

Very disappointed in quality of service. After years of positive experiences there, a newer doctor did not listen well and my glasses are not satisfactory - I cant really see well.

When I came to Total Vision Care six years ago, on an emergency basis, by a co-workers referral, they were able to fit me in the same day, and Dr. Kleins very careful & thorough examination uncovered a relatively minor problem, which hes kept tabs on ever since. The office is spacious, airy, and very comfortable, and Dr. Klein & his staff are always friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I would recommend Total Vision Care to anyone who has vision coverage in their health insurance, especially if youd like a bit of TLC with your new glasses or routine care. If you dont have insurance -- well, you can get less expensive care, but you wont find better care than Total Vision Care!

Great doctors and staff in a beautiful office.

Dr. Limpado spent 2 hrs with me using every machine and instrument on my eyes. She found a slight problem with my retina and wrote a referral to my regular facility saying I needed an opthalmologist specializing in retinas AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. And I only went in there needing new glasses! My regular facility and primary physician says it has to go to the committee for approval, which can take a week or two! Making more calls on this. But I will go to Dr. Limpado and Total Vision Care again and again. Thank you so much.

I went to the store was in aw when I saw the attention to detail of the staff in greeting, and how well everything was flowing in the office. Even they had coffee for the guest that for me sold me.Recommended a visit.

I am visiting theze guyz b/c of a concussion and I can honestly say that Dr. Hayes sense of humor iz non-ezistent once your in hiz chair az a patient. Hez extremely professional and extraordinarily thorough with his exam. Of course he makes you feel comfortable with the occazional joke but per your vizion related health hez all buziness. I highly recommend if you know of anyone suffering from vizion impairment, to point them in the direction of TVCAO!!! Now, I also attend vizion therapy and I have to say that Barbara iz a breath of fresh air!!! Shez extremely knowledge of her job, very comforting, but she can spot struggle like a needle in a haystack!!! When she sees that youre struggling to complete a task she will make sure to be patient with you and her motherly instincts kick in. Ive been through numerous types of therapy before (ex-Marine) and I have to say theze two dont treat you like a machine. They take away your weaponz, your gear, and your bootz; and focus on the inner software of your makeup. Im overly greatful for being sent here and wouldnt have it any other way!!! Thanks TVCAO!!!!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Kleins for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with each of my annual visits. Dr. Klein is very thorough and provides clear explanations regarding the details of every exam. Dr. Klein, and the Total Vision Care staff, provide professional and friendly care. As Dr. Klein was recommended to me, I would highly recommend his services to others.

I ordered two pair of glasses for a total of almost $700. I was told delivery would be 7 to 10 working days. I did not hear from them after two weeks I went in and found one pair arrived but the tint that I ordered was not added. It is now seven weeks and the second pair have not arrived. When I checked after 4 weeks, I was told the order was lost and when the supplier received the order the lens did not pass inspection so the supplier (Zeiss?) had to reorder. I still do not have my glasses. Many smiles, poor results.

It doesnt matter what the office looks like, what they have to offer if customer service IS NOT THERE it gets no stars. When someone is calling for their prescription FIND A WAY TO SEND IT TO THEM, theyre only option should not be to only come in WHY so they can feel bad that theyre even asking for it.The law states they should receive a paper copy at the time of appointment anyways. ALSO when someone orders glasses they should be OFFERED ALL OPTIONS TOWARDS LENSES, to be told that you guys do not offer options because the patient will get overwhelmed and does not want to hear it is so wild to me that someone would even think to talk like that to someone who is brand new to glasses so now they are completely traumatized!

Been going here 10 years and they have the greatest care team. professional, through, latest equipment. Fitted for glasses and contacts here. Just wish Dr Klein would get well and come back.

Our family of 5 has been seeing Gregory Hayes at Total Vision Care for many years, including some treatment for strabismus. We have had very friendly, prompt and knowledgable care. The optics department is also very good, with a good selection of glasses, and excellent order and repair service.

Ive been going to Total Vision in Rancho Bernardo for many years. I have always been treated well. I have learned a lot about my eyes from Dr Kline. Prices are fair and maybe better than others. As long as there is a Total Vision my eyes are happy. :)

Goof after goof and after more than a dozen follow up calls, still not right. They lost 4 customers. Very disappointing

Great experience and help with Maria. In the past she took the needed time to solve a problem that was plaguing my current frames and lenses that was causing discomfort. I have been a patient of Dr. Klein since 1986.

They have a very expensive and VERY slim option of eyewear. I did buy a pair of glasses from them but will never go back. I emailed them 3 or 4 times for my glasses prescription and they said they would get back to me and they never did. All I wanted was a second pair of glasses from the internet or something and I paid big money to get my prescription read so I should be allowed my records. Then when I finally went in to another eyeglass place to get new glasses, (in a different state so I had no other option) I had to get the prescription faxed which took two days of calling and asking and when I went, they still hadnt faxed. Were they sour that I wasnt buying from them??? And now for my actual experience at the store... Although the girl at the front was sweet, I was 20, maybe 30 minutes late to my appointment, because I had just gotten back into the country and it was a busy and stressful time but I needed to see! So I was new and couldnt find the place at first so I was a little bit late... They said they were so busy and I would have been messing up the doctors schedule and that I cant be late to doctors appointments. I said ok thats fine I understand and I had to wait another WEEK to get in. Maybe because I wasnt wearing very nice things that day Im immediately not a preffered costumer ? Next time I was early and still had to wait another 30 for them to call me back. So I dont understand why they reprimanded me for my tardiness... Ive never written a review before but Im with my gramma at the eye doctor and these people are professional meaning they dont look you up and down for your social class to determine how to serve you.
