Decided to try a local place for some coffee and got a large Irish cream latte and my friend got a white chocolate latte. The flavor was very subtle and all most nonexistent as well as my friends drink looked and tasted like dark chocolate instead of white. The place overallis very cute however I feel like the drinks could’ve been better.

Clairemont Coffee has great customer service and consistently wonderful espresso drinks, made with organic coffee, and offer several alternative milk options. They also have an amazing jungle vibe featuring a huge mural, lush tropical trees, and regularly feature local artist’s work. This all makes stopping for (wonderful) coffee an experience. I love this place!

Nice atmosphere! Great staff! Busy for a reason... They offer a small array of sweets, oats-in-a-cup, açaí bowls and ice cream, nothing truly savory. Theres a Mexican diner and a sandwich/bagel shop next door, if youd like to stop in on the way.Coffee is tasty and reasonably priced. This shop is a nice addition to Clairemont Mesa!Side note: The bathroom is nicely decorated! Funny art.

Two in a row! My first visit, I ordered a large latte, just espresso and milk. Absolutey Delicious! Espresso started well and finished smooth! My second visit, the very next day, of course, I ordered a medium plain coffee, the French Roast (Dark). Ive had organic coffee on many occasions, however, this has to be the smoothest. The flavor is indescribable, you gotta try it for yourself! Stop by! Today!

Much cheaper than Starbucks, and worth your time. The place is cozy; not to mention a good taste in lounge music and their specialty drinks completely far from overwhelming. In a small, it will satisfy you. The place is very vegan friendly, too; and the employees are respectable and smiling people.Leah is my favourite. Its a Mexican chocolate and coconut blended specialty drink (and it is a latté). I then tasted their hot chocolate and their other specialty, Sierra (another latté blend: macadamia nut and maple spice). Unlike Starbucks, they know how to incorporate their flavours in the right proportions. The key notes dont sink to the bottom of your cup and collect there until youve about swigged all of your drink until you are sipping syrup and clumps of sweet powder. They have a menu visibly ample with options in constructing your beverage, too. It is right there for all to browse; welcoming you to create your own unique drink. The place doesnt try to be luxurious - it tries to be open.A refreshing change of pace.

Okay. Staff are very proud that they serve organic. However, this is somewhat negated by having disposable cups with plastic lids, and scant knowledge of coffee, its varietals and origins. They had some East African beans (Tanzania or Uganda, I forget which), which is exactly what any self respecting Italian would use to make an espresso. Sadly this was only available as a drip option. The organic beans, a blend of vague origin, were exclusively for espresso. Go figure...

This is my favorite local coffee shop, staffed by some of my favorite coffee professionals. Bob and the staff are always friendly, open and really great to me as a customer. I can always count on being greeted by name and sharing a smile or two. The prices are reasonable for most things and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I used to go to the Starbucks up the street, but it always seemed so crowded and noisy. I had a hard time even finding a place to park. So when Clairemont Coffee opened up, I was happy to find this friendly, more low-key and easy to park alternative source of my coffee bean extract!

The youngins stoke on their ice cream selection and say it tastes like we make it at home. Thanks Bob!

This is a treasure of a coffeeshop located in the heart of Clairemont/Bay Park. In just a few years, the owner Bob has created a little retreat with original artwork everywhere, right down to handpainted tables. The coffee is organic and delicious, and Bob has gone to meet many of his suppliers personally. While the space isnt perfect, he has created a surprisingly cozy haven to snuggle up against the banal cruel world with great coffee and tasty treats.
