Very relaxing and refreshing. This jc Penny customer service was exceptional

A major lack of employees and assistance, no clear definitive sale tag on most of their items. So, when I went to check out, it cost me about $120 additional then I expected, because theyre clothes were on the wrong rack.But if you take enough time, you can find some good deals.

I used to like Pennys. Unfortunately they are trying to be trendy and have a store of stores (areas by brands). Unfortunately, because of their approach, I couldnt find things I expected and the prices on what I saw were ridiculous...At least for Mens casual clothing. Feels more like they are trying to be Macys and that doesnt suit me.

I had not been to a mall in years and it was a pleasant surprise that Pennys was still open! a it seemed big and did not have as much choice as I would have liked but they did have something. We were looking for clothes for my adult son who is on the large side. They did have a big and tall section and we also found some things in the mens department. There was a line at checkout of about 6 people and the dressing room was a little hard to find. There was no one to ask for help while we were looking. But overall it was fine.

Good collection of cloths . Friendly staff and not too much crowded. Highly recommended to anyone who looks for petite size cloths

There was a bit of a wait, but the service was excellent for our return of a few items.

I came to pick up my online order. It was delivered in only one day. That was fast service. I have been shopping online for Pennys for about 2 years. I highly recommend the online option and good prices on the internet.

Had a picture appointment @5:45, they asked to move it to 5:30. Then photographer rushed us thru our session. Disappointed in their customer care/service. After my membership expires, I will not renew. Picture People is much better, in customer service, time taken for session, props & capturing original photos per individual. Penny does same pose/props for every session & end after 15 minutes regardless if the customer is satisfied.

Go on line and get the exact size of Levis then just wait for the email. A week later, I drove to JCPENNEY, parked and a young lady brought out my order. Magnificent experience

Today’s visit was quite long as we allowed our two young daughters to shop for themselves.Once we were ready to check out we head to the cash register and was warmly greeted by cashier name CLELO He was very welcoming and very patient!!! My kids and I were making decisions on who was going to pay for what and if they want to put anything back she stood there patiently and even gave her opinion and advice to help them make a decision. I have to truly say clelo is an amazing individual and she definitely made our day a whole lot brighterThank you for being an awesome cashier we need more people like you

Lots of great deals on clearance clothing! Sales on other clothing made them pretty reasonable also.. The store was pretty empty. Had to search for an open register (only reason for the loss of 1 star).

Our Cashier Liste was not very patient, extremely bothered and obviously annoyed because we asked to verify a price tag, decided against, but finally purchased it!

Whats not to like about this store!? It has wonderful brands, for all ages in all kind of styles!! Besides a little bit of everything for the bedroom, kitchen, jewelry, etc... I love this store!! I especially love the Ana line of womens clothing.

Such a great selection of dresses that i had to try on about 12! Social distancing seems to be working well here. Theres hand sanitizer at the checkout and dressing room. Only 1 dressing room open for women on floor 1. Nice workers. Good prices. Better than what I saw online.

This store was kinda busy today. Helpful staff trying to meet the needs of customers. If an item is not in stockthey will help place an online order. The only complaint is not all registers are open and they could use some help with checking people out.

JC Pennys Department store has a great way of helping customers, that help when needed. I love shopping there, customers roam around freely! The folks that work there, are extremely helpful and will help you whenever you are in need of help!!Get a jump on the goods and jump in and purchase some goodies!!! They have a great amount of goods that you will truly love....and you wont be sorry!

PANDEMIC UPDATE: All shopping carts and even in-store shopping bags are gone. This makes me extremely unhappy.Super frustrating visit today: After I ran out of energy and it had become hot under the mask, I wandered around the main floor looking for an open checkout, and as far as I could tell, only one out of three were open, and of course there was a line 5 people deep. A store associate asked how I was doing, and I honestly replied, Im struggling today. She then asks how she can help me, and I ask, Can you check me out? She replies, No, but we have a checkout open right over there....Yeah, thanks. I cant stand in line that long. I will drop these on the floor going out the door rather than stand in that line. And then I left without another word, dumping my intended purchases on a bench outside the salon. I wondered why she bothered to speak to me at all, as she clearly did not sincerely want to help me after she had asked. I doubt I will shop here in person until the pandemic is declared over and they restore the use of carts. Hopefully the store will be adequately staffed by then.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am very fond of the Fashion Valley JCPenney and I sincerely hope it is able to remain open. Prior to the pandemic, it was disorganized to the point of being frustrating to find anything on the clearance racks. But today I noticed a distinct improvement. Clothing was better organized and sale racks were not over-crowded or a general mish-mash of sizes and seasons. Things had been moved around to increase flow between departments. Parking is always good outside the catalog dept door (also the salon). If there was one thing I still wish for, it would be more shopping carts. Being somewhat disabled, having a cart to use exponentially increases the length of my shopping trip... therefore I buy more! Department store retailers would do well to recognize that the Boomers are aging, and provide a good supply of in-store carts. But overall, I love this JCPenney!

Where did all the cashiers go? Only one guy taking on the challenge for hours as cashier. Not very well thought out by management 🤔

If I could give it to zero stars I would, I recently bought a gold chain from there for 1100 later that same day I was taking off my chain and it broke part so effortlessly without me pulling it or anything so the next day I take it back to the store and they encourage me to buy insurance on the chain and I do that to get it fixed and they send it out and tell me will be about six weeks for it to get back They called me about two weeks later telling me that the chain is damaged beyond repair when in reality that’s how they sold it to me. No refund or any compensation, terrible experience. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

Mack in Returns & Exchanges and JVP Pick-up is awesome. Hes attentive to all guests. He mans the exit for security and employees and directs the flow of the line.

This is my favorite JC Penney Store. Never had a problem.

No open changing rooms so you cant try on clothes. Pretty sure I saw 2 different people walk out with items without paying, one even set off audible alarm which it appears no one responded to. Not the best experience shopping there.

Because I brought up her failure to ask. If I needed help earlier. Funny because I had on $15000 in diamond jewelry on that day

Its been a couple of years since the last time I was here and wow has this store gone down the drain. Management is no longer maintaining the store as it once did. What a shame this country is also following along the same path.

EXCELLENT deals. They have more womens clothes than I have ever seen anywhere in my life. I have been to Pennys many times but never really walked the whole floor. The womens clothing just kept going and going and going. I was amazed. Pennys really does offer amazing deals.

Great deals. Very affordable big and tall selection for men. My family gets all of our family photos there. Can buy some nice clothes there and then wear them for the photos. Deals galore. Picked up some good deals then was able to use a coupon on top of the savings.

I went to JC Penny in Fashion Valley mall for Maidenform bras on Black Friday weekend. I went right after dark on Sunday, as I have no children. Parking was pretty full with spots available. The store wasnt crowded, the special priced bra selection was good, & I bought 3 Maidenform sale bras for $17 each (reg. Price $26 - $35). Cashiers are at a minimum then, but wait was shorter than a big sale line, when crowded. I was happy.

Got some very cute clothes for my daughter, found a coupon on my phone, and got a fantastic deal.

This review is for the customer service counter by the portrait area. Ordered a 1399(before tax) appliance, the lady at the counter (sorry did not get her name) was so nice and helpful, also with Cynthias help end up getting the 10% credit card discount and extra 5% on top of price match. Sweet! The final thing was 1185 after tax, feel like I won a lottery. Everyone was so nice at the counter, at the end of the day, its the customer service that brings the customer back. Thank you!
