Parking was easy with first two hours free. Digital location maps within the mall were easy to use. Beautiful new design of mall shops replacing older outdated structures. Some of the older structures still remain awaiting removal (reason for 4 stars instead of 5).

Nice mall in La Jolla with lot of shopping and restaurants options. Its heavily trafficked on weekends. You can easily spend 5-6 hours inside it. All over the mall you have digital maps which are very helpful. Lots of parking space and first 2 hours are free parking which is really cool.

The most beautiful mall in San Diego! Soo many decorations, statues, art pieces, water fountains with dolphins because the mall is by the sea. Tons of restaurants and several nice play areas for kids. Free wifi throughout and lots of places to sit and read or have a nice cup of tea. And the ice rink, I remember when they first built it. People were actually skating the day I went. Also a nice cool place to sit. Tons of stores for shopping. Also a little book cabinet where you can leave a book or take one for free. You could spend the whole day here. The atmosphere is soo nice. I really enjoyed it. I wanna go back and try some of the different restaurants. This is just the nicest mall Ive ever been to. Parking is free for 2 hrs. I cant say enough nice things about this place 😊

Clean, open, lots of stores to visit. Dolphin pool I. The middle is nice. They have kids playground as well.

Large outdoor mall with a good range of specialty shops and restaurants. Walkways weave a bit. Takes a while to learn your way around. On the positive, there are lots of directories and people to ask.

My absolutely favorite mallIn San Diego. I love that it’s outdoors. I love their children’s playground for my kids, it’s clean and we always feel safe. I also love their dog park. But my absolutely favorite is their theater with a bar. Best place for date night.

This is the richest, most bespoke and tailored mall Ive ever seen. It screams hipster, old monied LA vibes. Sometimes I go here just to breathe in the money in the air and take pictures of the displays landscaping masterpieces. Theres always something new.

I love how they have remodeled the mall! It’s just so nice to go there for a walk or window shop. The restaurant are pretty nice too! Stores have a nice high quality selection too! The only negative is you have to pay for parking past 2 hours at a $15 rate.

This is my favorite mall, it’s really open, airy and has a lot of cute little spots to chill and relax! Also, love their restaurants! Nice place to chill on a weekend! Definitely must try the Wushiland Boba if you’re there!

UTC is now way better than how it ways s few years ago. It has mostly everything you need to satisfy your shopping needs, ranging from designer brands for clothing, cosmetics, accessories to high-end luxurious items, such as Hermes, Cartier, Panerai, just to name a few. You can travel to this shopping center by public transit, which is quite convenient, by car (you will be charged for parking after first 2hrs of complimentary parking), or by feet if you live in the neighborhood. I cant take pics for all the places to portray the vibe, but here is a few from my trip today

It was my first time back to UTC since the shutdown. I dont know why I waited so long. Its a beautiful outdoor mall. Perfect for COVID times. Some stores have changed over, but most are the same as I remember. There is so much outdoor seating and lounge areas. Plus random works of art to eye as you run from store to store.

The only thing that would make this place better would be for more shops added for older, more mature women. I’d love to see a Saks Fifth Avenue here. This mall is geared more for age 14-40 year old women. I think they do have a good selection for men of all ages. The restaurants here very good.

Wow. This place has changed from back in the day when I would show up at 5 in the morning for hockey practice. This mall is completely re-done from top to bottom. Definitely a higher end mall. There were so many Tesla’s in the parking lot. Some good food spots, but bring your $$$$ as even a small iced coffee from a coffee stand, not even Starbucks, was like 7 bucks. Used to enjoy crowds and people watching, but there were too many people in that mall for my liking.

The mall is new, spacious and store options are great.We had a parking situation today that the parking ticket didnt work at the gate when we exit and the assistance button didnt work. We had to back out from the gate which was terrible as there were cars already behind us. Fortunately we saw a mall security in the golf cart in the parking lot and he guided us to the parking office (by 24 hours fitness) to handle the ticket situation.Here is what we found interesting:1. This mall utilizes cameras to associate the parking ticket with a license plate number. Somehow our ticket was associated with the car in front of us when we got in and that car left so the machine said your parking ticket has already been used. The parking office said they have encountered this issue a few times... Okay, how are you going to address this issue to prevent this from happening??2. This parking office people said we should have pressed the button to get assistance at the gate so they could just open the gate. We said we pressed the button but it didnt work. They explained we should have pressed the button for a few seconds to make it work ... Well.... THAT info should have been listed next to the button. But the parking office also mentioned they are aware of some of the assistance buttons didnt work. Well, thanks for your honesty but please fix it...

Love Crate and Barrel, beautiful store and friendly atmosphere, little hit and miss on the staff though some are really helpful and accommodating and others are rude and not very knowledgeable about their own inventory. But the store itself is amazing, great products and home decor.

Season 52 out door dining was comfortable, staff were super engaging and food excellent!

I had not been to this mall for a long time (5 + years) and I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful changes they made from the parking structure to the sitting areas, food quarter, the ponds and water fountains throughout ... Very modern... Really splendid! PS: At the time of this post the parking is still undergoing some construction.Parking is free for the first 2 hours and then its $2/hour.

UTC has long been a favorite place to eat and shop. The location in University City is convenient, and there are quite a few good restaurants, a fast food court, diverse places to shop, and an ice rink. Fun place to meet up with friends or hang out and people-watch.

For shoppers, its like a resort vacation spot. There were chairs and tables that were beautifully installed everywhere, so I felt comfortable and happy with my eyes. It was good to visit department stores and various brands at once, and the parking system was satisfactory. I recommend that you sit in a chair nearby before shopping makes you tired. Shopping will be more enjoyable. And the evening is more beautiful than the day.

I’m extremely upset, I brought my cousin from out of town to experience this facility. And I have brought guest in the past free of charge for a day pass before, And this is the first time I was charged. I’ve been a member for almost a decade. And have also in the past brought members to the gym before- And it’s upsetting to show my family member around and be stopped from a wonderful day for 10$ like really! I asked for a manager and was denied. We still payed and has to carry out our workouts annoyed. This would have never happened in LA fitness.

You have to pay for parking. The mall itself is still in development but the stores are open. Lots of stores and food places to choose from. Ice skating ring in by the food court. There are places to sit and some of them have fire pits. Good variety of high end and lower end stores!

I really love this mall. I have been coming to this mall Since I moved to San Diego in 1998. The remodel has made it even better. So many wonderful restaurants and stores. I love all the outdoor seating. This is one of my favorite places to shop and dime.

Probably one of the most enjoyable outdoor malls! Live music in the center, with lots of lovely restaurants situated all over the mall. Additionally it holds a beautiful secret bar “speak easy”! Highly recommend a day to walk around.

This formerly bustling mall is now the perfect representation of the future, with perfectly maintained crowd levels, entertaining music, and fully automated parking. We celebrated a birthday lunch (only dine-in so far). The restaurants are maintaining strict pandemic protocols.The mall has become a great walking area, with all the shops keeping customer counts, and mask-on policies

I went to Raised by Wolves bar. It was an amazing experience. The visual experience was excellent, as well as the drinks. Finally I found a bartender (Sarah) who could offer me a gin drink that wasnt sickly sweet, nor bitter martini nor plain gin and tonic.Also earlier in the day I was there with my granddaughter (1 year) and our was amazing for her too. The visual and tactile experience was stimulating and pleasurable for her.

Love this store but I had a mix experience on it today for the first time.We were nicely welcomed as we enter the store,but when inside we got interested on something and we ask one of the ladies working there about an item and she first looked at us no saying anything them we again asked a question and she answered in a very unpleasant way like if we were bothering her.I understand people have problems,but if you work as a customer salesperson you need to leave them outside.

Beautiful outdoor shopping center! Impressive variety of stores, restaurants, and attractions. Theres even an ice rink, a few pleasant plazas for outdoor dining and rest, and best of all... a dog park!Just be prepared to pay $2/hr for parking if you park for more than 2 hours.

What can I say except beautiful big all the shopping you can do in a day then restaurants for the jet set to the casual prices are all affordable plenty of parking

It is a nice arcade with lots of options. Been to a mall/arcade after ages due to covid. So enjoyed it. However, it is nothing original.. and just like any other good mall in US. So you can definitely visit for good shopping experience. But nothing out of the blue. Decent enough place to visit.

This is one of my favorite malls in San Diego. Even though its very popular I feel that the atmosphere is more relaxed than Fashion Valley Mall, which is also a favorite of mine. Lemonade is also a great place to get food (good portions) and drink.

Best mall ever!! Parking is functional and spacious. Dog-friendly. Lots of outdoor seating if you need to take a break. Great variety of shops. Tasty restaurants and cafes.

Wow. What nice mall. The parking system is awesome. I think it uses license plate recognition cause I never had to insert the stub. Super clean stores. Great childrens playground. Very busy even on a week night.

I absolutely love Westfield UTC! Very clean, live entertainment and a variety of places to grab a bite to eat or just snack. This is one of few outdoor malls I enjoy shopping at. I was also a bit disappointed that sloans had closed 🍬 🍭 🍦

Love the ambiance, stores different places to eat. Every store we went into the people were very friendly and very welcoming!

Love it here the art you can find around every corner as you walk and shop. (shown in picture the 🐟 fish piece) the many stores to choose from try not to get lost! The food court and restaurants selection are amazing dont forget to stop and watch the ice skaters from little ones just beginning or more advanced fun to watch as they ease their way on the ice .

This place is awesome, well built, and beautiful. Right in the heart of La Jolla, great place to shop, workout at the fitness center, grab some clothing from boutique stores, or hang out and stroll with some snacks.

Plenty of places to visit and a large diversity of food. The digital maps all around the mall are very helpful.I would recommend Din Tai Fung for a nice dinner and Happy Lemon for a delicious treat!

Best shopping mall in San Diego county. Hopefully we can keep the inner city eaters out and keep all of La Jolla beautiful. Time will tell.

UTC is great for shopping, and has excellent restaurants. Just a fun place to spend some time.

One of the best malls I have been to. Very upscale yet inviting. They have really nice seating options at very corner. The newly added section makes the place huge and they have some awesome restaurants. Love the new coffee place La Columbe. A nice place to hangout and people watch too :)

One of my favorite malls in San Diego. Great atmosphere and food selection in the food court. There is currently construction at the mall. My understanding is that there is going to be a Trolley stop here in the future making it even easier to visit. Highly recommended

This has to be the first review Ive ever written!!Im a soon to be bride. My fiancé and I got engaged on 06/06/2021, and we are planning to get married by next year (2022). My fiancé is Lebanese, and so our wedding will take place in Lebanon, so I needed an extraordinary dress. My fiancé and I were thinking to buy a dress from Lebanon, and so I wasnt looking for a dress, until I passed by Jana Ann Couture at UTC mall.I was immediately impressed by the unique, elegant, classy, and modern dresses that I saw through the window as they were getting ready to open on September 4th. I ended up stopping by after work on September 5th, and fell in love with Janas (the designer) character and joy that her presence brings to anyone who walks in. I immediately booked an appointment the next day, which I ended up canceling because I did not have anyone to accompany me.Yesterday (September 12th), I booked a same day appointment at their Del Mar location to look at some dresses, I came in and was greeted by Jana with her beautiful smile. I sat down with her and my mom, and we enjoyed Turkish coffee together, which was delicious, and we chatted about what dress designs I liked and didnt like. Jana was very attentive and listened well. She looked at a few dresses and put me in two GORGEOUS dresses. Two hours later, we were still at the boutique having fun and chatting. Jana had told me about a dress she had at the UTC location that would fit me perfectly!!! So, we decided to book an appointment at UTC the next morning, and surely, just like she said, the dress was EXACTLY what I was looking for.I showed up at the UTC location today (September 13th), and tried on the dress that I fell in love with. I met another wonderful young lady (Yael) who helped me into and out of this dress. She was very welcoming and sweet. Like I mentioned, I wasnt even planning on purchasing a dress yet, but the dress was so perfect, and Jana definitely worked with our budget to make it happen! I am EXTREMELY HAPPY and SATISFIED with the service. Everyone is super professional and kind here. I am proud to say that I am a JANA ANN BRIDE!!!Oh, and by the way, they gave me a pick between a complimentary makeup bag or tote that says BRIDE on there, which is super adorable!!THANKS JANA ANN TEAM FOR EVERYTHING!!

Lovely mall and very clean overall. Love the options for stores it has. And a lot of parking. First time I go to a mall that has an automatic system for charging people their ticket fees.

Westfield UTC “University Town Center” is one of the most beautiful shopping 🛍 malls in Southern California. The landscaping is mellow and relaxing. Shopping is great as well. It’s in La Joya Suburb of San Diego

This place is excellent, has so many different stores to shop and food places to choose from plus a skating rink. Kabob is my favorite food place

This outdoor mall is an experience. It is filled with art sculptures and beautiful spaces, that is is actually relaxing. And I am NOT a big shopper.Around Christmas, it is magical at night when it is all lit up. There is an indoor skating rink. There are tons of options for food with a variety of price ranges. And, a unique Cupcake Vending Machine!It is fancy, as in it has lots of high end stores like Sundance or Hermes. But it has all of the usual stores too. You pay for parking after the first two hours, so good to know. And, even the womens bathroom is high end. ;) It has gorgeous leather furniture. What a treat.

Seems to be the most snobby place on the planet. None of the clothes seem to fit me properly. This place seems to cater to a specific clients; but most of the time a majority of the clothes are still on the shelves after a season ends. I just want a shirt that fits properly and is less than $25.

We visited on a gorgeous, cool but sunny day and enjoyed people watching and getting our steps in. There are many high-end shops, restaurants, coffeeshops, and even a theater. We even visited the Apple store and the Tesla store. I’d never sat in a Tesla and it sure was comfortable! Very nice place and worth a visit!

I was happy that since they have decided to charge for parking now, you can at least get you first 2 hours free and not sure whether or not you can get free parking with validation. I believe you can only because I was in a store and a gentleman came back in the store to get his parking validated, and the representative asked him if he had been there longer than 2 hours. He was not sure, so the person looked at his ticket and told him he was fine and did not need the validation. The shopping center is very clean and open. It can be easy to get turned around though since the layout is not symmetrically built around a center area. There are several variety of food establishments and pretty much all your major department stores and higher end shops as well.

Decent for the price compared to other hotels in the area. No mini fridge in the room which makes it inconvenient for long stays. Balcony door was really old and hard to close. Beautiful view from our ocean front, staff friendly and quickly addressed maintenance issues in our room. But would definitely go another route next visit to San Diego.

I was really impressed with the people working there because they are truly masterful and helpful to all of my requests. Also, the products that I needed was complete and of high quality. Indeed, the best spot to do your grocery needs! The shopping experience I had from this supermarket was truly amazing. Strongly recommended!
