I had a great experience at Lexus, I initially went in a few times browsing and looking for a good deal. The third time going in Vidal helped my boy friend and I. We bought my wife’s Lexus here 16 years ago. We bring it in for routine service regularly. Normally we buy a new car every 10 years but our 2005 ES 330 and the support team at Lexus San Diego are so good we still have the car after 16 years. My wife has no plans to replace it

The experience is a standard since 2004 when I started owning Lexus. Not much changed. I came just for a 20000 miles maintenance. However, the price has increase drastically too much, not proportional to the service in my opinion.

Unfortunately the service is just not comparable to other Lexus dealers. I was quoted over $150 more for the 25k service than 5 other dealers in Southern California and also am able to get a courtesy car which I’m not able to do at Lexus of San Diego. I’ve also never received call backs when I’ve left my contact information on several occasions. I usually take my Lexus for simple maintenance to Toyota next door or Lexus of Glendale or El Cajon depending on my location. Both which are hassle free and much less expensive. Do yourself a favor and shop around for service at different Lexus dealerships.

Be careful when bying a car here. Agreed on the price and agreed to receive the car, but when it arrived, it added unannounced amount. All fault is yours. Not good.

I recently leased a UX 200 with Justin and let me just say - my experience was amazing! Justin has an extensive knowledge of the cars and all the features they have to offer. Not only that, but he is kind, personable and extremely willing to help make sure that his customers are satisfied. I got the detail and the 35k mile check. The representative that helped me the first time was on lunch so they had another rep help me. When we brought the car in, we had specific things we wanted the mechanics to look at. Of course, we asked the replacement guy the questions or updates on these things and he had no clue. He was going through the paperwork (which we could’ve done) and then was like I don’t see anything on here.I have an app that shows how my car was driven. It says multiple harsh turns and hard stops. Which in turns effects my brakes and my car!They need to handle with car. It’s not their car to go and drive all crazy.I paid $400 and I don’t feel like my car was handled with care.The detail was ok. I spent $180 on it. I could’ve spent $50 with the guy that does my other car, but my expectations for this were way too high. I guess they are all people doing it so not really a difference huh.I’ll probably be back because it’s the closest dealership to our house but not really impressed. Just average.

The sales person Sadeer was very courteous and friendly. I have no grief against him. But the service person Lilly Punte was very unfriendly and non professional. No smile, no welcome and no courtesy. She was very abrupt and unfriendly. When she directed me to my loaner car she did not have the courtesy to get up from her chair to the car, instead she said it is the white Lexus over there. I went to a white Lexus and loaded my stuff in one of the customers car that was brought in for service. When I went back to her to tell her that the car was dirty that is when she tells me that it was the wrong car...with no apology. Lexus service Dept is not what is used to be 😒

Horrible customer service in every department. Sales, Parts and Service. I refused to go back to this dealer for that reason, I tried to give them another chance a year later and was treated very poorly again.. Rude and unwelcoming staff, not helpful at all and constantly given a the runaround over simple requests. They almost didn’t even let me get a printout of MY vehicles service records because I didn’t drive that particular vehicle there. They asked for my registration to “make sure” that I’m “actually the owner” and was also told that my insurance cards weren’t going to work either. The Service Advisor also took my personal paperwork/receipts that I placed on the desk in an attempt to verify that I was an actual customer/owner.. I will not be returning to this dealer and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Extremely unacceptable.

I have been a continuous customer of Lexus San Diego since 1990. So for 30+ years I have received the finest customer service possible from the sales, service, loaner associates and parts department (although, I must say with the quality of the Lexus automobiles I’ve owned, I have rarely interfaced with parts personnel. An occasional battery for the remote. ) They have quality personnel from top to bottom and I have never been disappointed. My longtime service rep recently retired and I was assigned a new POC. Andy Amenta has picked up right where my previous service rep left off. He does a great job and is highly professional and attentive to your needs. I could not recommend a business more highly than I do Lexus San Diego.
