The entire experience here at DCH Honda Mission Valley was great. It was that time of the year to get a routine service and a maintenance check on my car and it was handled very well. The person that helped me out was a man named Angel; he was very concise with his work, very detailed on every step my car would be going through and was very patient with all my questions- overall a very comforting, and reassuring interaction.It was a very busy morning and was told to hang out for an hour and a half. Maybe less than an hour later, my service was done! Angel walked me through the details on my service and let me know what needs to be done with my car to prevent anything wrong in the future. The entire experience being here was smooth and took no time at all. Im definitely going back to this location to get my service done, especially because of the A+ customer service Ive received (youre the man Angel!). Thanks Honda for always making me feel welcomed.

This dealership made the car buying process go smoothly, however when it came to sending a refund check to my bank they took over 4 months to send it. Every time I went to get an update they said the person that deals with that kind of stuff is not in. It’s like they don’t want to send the check. Whenever I called I would get redirected to Derek and get hung up on. Super disappointed in Scott from finance because he never got back to me and till this day my check has not been sent to my bank.

Angel was very professional and efficient with getting the national recall on my fuel assembly parts taken care sooner than expected. He provided concierge Lyft rides to and from my job the whole process was seamless. I appreciated that he didn’t take my time trying to sell me on services I didn’t need, however he cautioned me to get my tune up done ASAP. (I’m aware) 😉 Overall as a woman going into dealerships or having a car serviced I stay on guard to make sure I’m not overcharged or scared into paying for service l didn’t ask for or don’t need. Angel didn’t do this and I’m appreciative of it.

A lot of wasted time listening to the sales person talk about how good they are and how lucky we were to be there. Actions definitely did not match the words. He said they don’t mark up the cars- they do and he showed us where. Apparently when you tell people that you are marking it up- that doesn’t count as marking it up! Said they were giving us top dollar on the trade in, debatable- we will definitely get more money for it then what they offered. This dealership was very up front with the situation at hand if low inventory and it is a seller’s market ~ they don’t need to do much to sell a car and they are enjoying that!

They found things wrong with my daughters older model Honda that had recently been serviced like the brakes. They also tried to pressure her to purchase other items and services in addition to the already overpriced ac repair she came in for. Even tried to tell her she needed a different part when she specifically asked what they were referring too. The item was listed on the estimate. This Honda dealership used to be great when we first began taking the Honda there over 10 years ago. Very disappointed by their behavior and dishonesty. They have lost our familys trust.

I purchased a used vehicle in May 2020. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was sold a vehicle that supposedly had a clean title. You can imagine how shocked I was to find out a year later it has an accident from January 2020 and another from 2018. This greatly depreciates the value of my car now. I never would have even considered purchasing this vehicle had I been notified of its true history. This is the main reason why I feel completely cheated and am writing this complaint. However, to add to my experience the salesman who helped me purchase the vehicle over a year ago was incredibly rude. I was lied to, insulted, and quite frankly robbed. I like the reliability of a Honda vehicle but do not get one from these guys.

Leased a Honda yesterday and Tony Maldonado was an amazing salesperson. Made me feel right at home and really worked hard to make sure the lease I got made financial sense. He clearly just wanted me to be satisfied and didn’t try to push any extra things I didn’t need. He even insisted on taking the car I wanted off of the dealership floor so I could drive that specific one by myself to make sure I knew it was the one. Easiest car buying experience ever. The finance manager was also super good. I usually get worried when I sit in their office waiting to be given the hard sell on products I don’t need. Not so here. He very efficiently explained the terms of everything, offered what he was obligated to offer, and when I declined he didn’t push the matter at all. I was in and out of his office in about 10 mins. Usually they keep you in there for 3 times as king begging you to get some warranty you don’t need. Really impressed and will definitely recommend this dealer and Tony to anyone I know interested in a Honda.

Really helpful, came in because my AC was not blowing cold and was greeted kindly when I pulled up, the service advisor was very helpful and told me my civic had a condenser recall and gave me an estimate of 4 hours because the shop was really busy, was surprised when Frank called me saying my car is ready on the 3rd hour, now my car blows nice cold air in these really hot days so every time I blast the AC I think about DCH and how I will be taking my car here for all its services.

The way I have been treated by Service Advisor Marian Cajica has made me write this review. First of all, she has no knowledge about the car parts or type of services. When I was at her desk I clearly told her my car is generating lot of cabin noise while driving and ask her to inform technician to check. I waited for hour and half to get my car back from the service because she said their system only allow ride within 10 miles and I needed ride for 12 miles, which is something DCH Honda should add on their website while scheduling appointment as during my last service with them another advisor did book my ride for the same address. So I decided to wait in the reception until I get my car back. After my car service was done, I asked Marian about reading on whats done and if there is any issue. She said everything is good, replaced oil/filter, tire rotation is done and when I asked her what about inside cabin noise, she said she misunderstood and assumed that I was talking about tire rotation, and told me I will have to wait for another 2 hours to let the technician diagnose it. I told her why 2 hours ? technician just need to drive it for 10 mins and they are the expert to figure it out whether the noise is loud enough compare to other cars...She said you know technicians are busy with other customers and it will take $160 for diagnosis if you want to do it...WOW....My car is still in the service, is not even done yet the way I requested and she is showing the cost....God knows what she is thinking....I told her I dont care about the money...I just want your technician to check the noise level and tell me where it needs a further diagnosis or is it a small fix so that I can book another appointment if needed and that way I can avoid 2 hours additional wait....She again said technician are busy and they can not help, basically I have to again wait in the queue....At this point I clearly felt either she is not interested and doesnt want to do her job by respecting customers time or not capable to handle the pool of customers comes to her. This shows how much she care for customers...!!

It actually took some courage for me to write this review because I legit feel so disrespected. I took my car here to sell it as a used vehicle and everything went well, I made A deal with a sales person and the sales manager. After signing all the paperwork I was told it would take about a week to receive my payment. I waited the week and absolutely no call or any communication to me. So at this point Im feeling left in the dark on What quite frankly Is a lot of money for me and my family. I called in to the dealership and talked to a different sales person, no one from the original deal. Then I was told it would take another week they gave you an improper timeframe. We said fine and waited another week! That goes by and still no call. After multiple calls to the dealership no one wants to talk to us. Its as if theyre avoiding us. I left multiple detailed voicemails to the finance department with no return back. We sold them a well-kept car for what it was, Had all the paperwork and no liens on the car, all paid. It shouldve been very easy and straightforward for them but yet no one has called. We have not received any professionalism on this matter and are still desperately waiting for an answer from DCH Honda. Please, Its not right the amount of stress this has caused. I purposely chose to leave the original sales peoples names out of this because Im not looking to drag anyones name through the mud. I just want to get what my family and I deserve from them, they owe us and have not kept up to their word. And keep in mind this is my first time selling a car at all and has turned into an absolute nightmare insanely frustrating.

Today, have an appointment to sell my BMW trade in for new vehicle. A week ago over the phone I was told by a salesperson that I could get $4500-5000 towards new vehicle. Had an appointment 11 50 minutes later was told that that person was in traffic somewhere up north. That person never arrived an hour later we were told by a mechanic that they (from the mechanic)were only willing to give us $3500. Car is in perfect condition, and blue books for $6-8,000. So, lesson learned get a private buyer.

He then teamed me up with Anthony Alonzo who is exceptional! They both reassured me that I would be able to purchase a vehicle despite me having no credit history and having very little to put down. They treated me with kindness, consideration and absolutely no pressure. Anthony is excellent at what he does. He is calm and so positive and he made me feel important. Fraud! They rip off hard working people to make a buck. I was sold a car with 70k miles on it, Weeks later I find out the truth, it actually has 120k+ miles and has had 2 major accidents and was recalled. They gave me a fake carfax report to lure me into buying the car. THEY ROLLED BACK THE ODOMETER TO MSKE IT LOOK LIKE LOWER MILES. This is SOOOO illegal. Jeff is the most crooked and lazy of them all. Your better off on the bus than buying ANYTHING from these crooks.

Don’t use this car dealership. This place is shady. They ran multiple hard inquiries with out my consent. I have tried multiple times to reach a manger and left two messages with no response. Their are so many other dealerships with 1000% better customer service who actually respect the buyer.

We showed up for our appointment to look at a used Honda. We expected the advertised price to be negotiable, but we didn’t expect it to go higher. They advised us that we’d have to pay an extra $1500 because it had one of their alarm systems installed and it couldn’t be removed. When we said that was ludicrous, they backed off and suddenly it wasn’t so difficult to remove (or disable?). This is a new shady sales technique I had not seen before. Beware.

Terrible experience, salesmen were jerks and incredibly impolite. They sold us a car that was a clean title since they legally cant sell anything but that. When getting it evaluated we found out they hid 2 accidents from us. It depreciated the value and we lost out huge on a potential trade in.

Came in on June 19th to buy a Ridgeline that I saw online at 12am the night before. I sent out an email in the middle of the night and two sales people were already responding. Ill not get into the negotiation process being tricky because I understand the hustle dealers work with. I will say that I was able to come in first thing on a Saturday morning and purchase the truck I saw online the night before in under 2 hours. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in buying a Honda and has done their homework. The sales people were professional and were responsive to my haggling. I may have just been in the right place at the right time, but overall had a better experience here than up the road in DCH Temecula last year. I found that the salesmen in Mission Valley had a better relationship with each other and work as a team with clarity and understanding. I would highly recommend going here if you know what you want and know what is realistic. Its discouraging to read reviews based on consumers misunderstanding of what dealerships act as and what they do not.

Made a 10AM appointment for a A1 maintenance…oil change and tire rotation. Service Advisor tells me it’ll be 1hr 30min…times goes by and it’s already been 1hr 30min and the cars not even in the bay to get serviced. What’s the point of making an appointment if they’re not going to honor the time you made the appointment for?Oh and the coffee is burnt, no free snacks like they advertise, the WiFi sucks and the lounge is small with uncomfortable seats.All this for $120 lol I’m definitely not coming back.UPDATE: It’s been 2 1/2 hours and still HASNT BEEN DONE. After 18 years with a reliable Honda Element, we decided it was time to get a new vehicle. We contacted Steve Yagyagan to assist us with our purchase. Steve kept us updated on the status of the Honda HRV that we wanted. The day the vehicle finally arrived at DCH Honda Mission Valley, Steve contacted us. Love the car that I got from DCH Honda, but before selling a vehicle DCH should make sure everything is in working condition. Right after my purchase I had to put more then $1000.00 into the vehicle. Sales people should NOT work on commission. People who work on commission are more likely to lie to their customers to make a sale. I had a recall, Airbag Inflator, on my Honda Civic 2007 two weeks ago, and I dropped it off on Wednesday last week at the dealership to have it fixed.The next morning I was going to work and the battery was fully dead. I replaced a brand new battery but still that didn’t fix the issue. I went to a mechanic shop and had my car’s alternator tested to find out if that was the reason of draining battery. After the test, the mechanical told me that the alternator was not charging battery which was causing the problem. The next morning, Saturday, I changed my alternator with a brand new one. The car has always been running just great even before the recall.Yesterday, Monday, I went to the dealership and I explained what happened. They wanted to charge me $165 for only inspection and there will be additional charges if I decide to have the issue fixed even though the problem existed literally after they had my car fixed. As I mentioned above, the car has been running perfectly. It has been such a frustrating experience and lack of assistance by the service manager who did not provide the assistance to help the client.

Amazing service. The employees gave me honest advice on how to proceed. They kept me informed throughout the process. I would highly recommend their services. I have emailed, called and left messages as well as messaged through Facebook to get routine service and tires done on my vehicle. Not a single call back and it’s been several days. I did get a response from Vince through messenger and figured I would receive a call to schedule but still nothing. I’m traveling for work and wanted to have my service done at a dealer before I travel back east but apparently my business isn’t worth the time or effort to call me back. Called Pacific Honda and had an appointment and price in 5 minutes. Anyone looking for quick, courteous service should do the same. It’s obvious that DCH has more money than they need and aren’t concerned with earning more.

Went for a recall and a warning and when they said they were done warning was still there, they said the appointment was only for the recall and to reschedule an appointment for the warning

DCH Honda was a good place to bring the car for a repair but now their customer service went down the hill. customer service does not exist anymore. I called the other day and no one picked up the phone so i had to leave a voice mail. They called me back few hours later and the person who called was not even from Service department so they said they will have someone to call back but no service person called so i drove there to get some estimate on the repair. found out they had no customers in waiting and 3 customer service person chilling. i spoke to one person and his customer service skill was extremely trouble. He did not know what parts needed and he did not even check if i ever came for service he quoted me incorrectly for wrong parts and jacked up the price for the labor. this not how one treat a paying customers who get his car repair by Honda dealer ship. Last 2 times i went to Honda i spent a bout 1600 and 200 just in repair. i really hope they fix their customer service and educate their staff properly. for people who read this review i would say look around for other dealership if you want to save time and trouble dealing with extremely bad customer service . Thanks in advance
