The Handy Pantry has been closed for a few months now. This store was very poorly ran. There was gambling, old food sitting out, clutter everywhere, and shady dudes hanging outside all day.If youre looking for somewhere to get a quick snack or drink, go to the Abarrotes El Pueblo right next to the laundromat. Not a very big selection, but still a better store than the last incarnation of the Handy Pantry.

There are various reasons to like the Handy Pantry.Besides the fact it is a bit of a historical spot for those in the nearby hoods.😎The owners may have changed. The name the same. The regular faces change - come and go.🙄Like the seasons, but the handy pantry has stood as a bit of a beacon to the neighborhood souls in need of goods day and night.🌓There is a bit of a home feel. Or a sort of familiarity like Utahs ownCheers.☻Your local cold drinks, sweet snacks, & such, Hot Spot.🧿Lately, the pantry is getting a sort of make-over, an internal over-haul. A constant effort of improvement to meet the ever changing, multi faceted, colorful, always interesting, constant in flux of customers, and their basic daily needs and wants.🤩Still the same great place, but more equipped to provide the needs, & meet the daily basic demands of the Groves local folk.🤑Open later than some, but not all night.Right in the heart of Poplar Grove. Midway from Redwood & the freeway on 4th South.🎯Your early morning, later night hot spot for drinks, food, odd & end quick pic necessities & snacks.Including all cigarrettes & smoking accessories. 😤Service with a smile - or a frown. Ever since this owner took over. The crime rate has gone up in this area!! Things have been stolen from my parents house which had not happened in many years. Keep your eyes out! Neighbors protect each other.

Took me a sec to figure out what this store was, but pretty legit convenient store. Some what in a hood area if utah can claim it has hoods.

Its a mini Mart in Glendale/rosepark for sure but the employees are what makes this place awesome and chill.

Makes me feel at home in my neighborhood where I grew up..

Nice people who work there. Not a great selection of domestic beers though.

Resourceful employees. Registers went down and without skipping a beat the cashier had pen and paper out calculating and completing orders with ease.

They Say they open at 7am but is a lie I stop by 8:30 am and it was not open! Bad service

Well they are open 24 hours, so that is convenient

Great neighborhood Market place.. You can buy most anything here for your daily needs.. Keep it up guys.

A little slow but a good store

Handy Pantry now has a new ownership of two young and dedicated entrepreneurs. They are fixing up the interior and exterior of the store and I see the business making a full 180 degree improvement. I can imagine more and more customers will be visiting the store because their selection is growing and the esthetic is improving. There’s a bright future ahead for Handy Pantry. Poplars Groves go-to corner market.

My Grandma lived just down the street. I shopped here in the 60s, 70s, & 80s. Best store ever!!!

This is a pretty good place to gamble they have 8 machines and the fish game. I have won money here and lost money here. My driver Earl DaPearl found $72 on a machine. The owner does complain a little bit when you go in there and fish. He says fishing is classless. I dont give a ___k what he thinks or says. If I want to go fishing I will.

I went to check out the shop. A guy was sitting outside the store on a cold December day dealing drugs. Drug dealing at neighborhood stores is a major issue. I would not shop there.

I just moved to the area and have been very impressed by the customer service and quick access to most supplys you may need. Definitely will continue to come here because its Handy!
