Great spot, kinda hidden. Have to go downstairs but once you get there it’s such a chill clean spot. Planned on getting a coffee and going but it was relaxing and I started doing some writing which I haven’t been doing.Great Vibe, Friendly Staff, super chill atmosphere. Jules was very nice and so was the owner.I had the Cupla Bullet (Hot) and the Cookie Monster(cold) both very good.I’m updating my review because I’ve now been here 3 times in 2 days and this time I tried their bacon breakfast burrito, hit the spot. Abby was working today and was such entertainment.

Great cafe with a unique seating space. I didnt like the The Bullet coffee as it was too coconutty for me, I think it was the MCT oil. The breakfast sandwich was really tasty and was served in a Croissant. Also, their Lavender scone was surprisingly delicious.

I found this Gem today on my break and was completely blown away. The Ambience is adorable, the quality was beyond exceptional, even the Lavender Scone was literally the best Scone that Ive ever eaten. The Staff was Charismatic and Charming and Genuine, as well as they went above and beyond to help me get a drink that I was wanting for my health. I have never been to any place that has provided such an incredible experience before. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Im seriously impressed. I look forward to going back.

Incredible space. Theres a huge seating area to read or work and generally enjoy your beverage. Coffee was excellent, and I will visit again. One incredibly minor nit - they used some generic brand of oat milk instead of Oatly for their lattes so theres a bit of a taste difference. Id still order again, but would recommend them to use Oatly for their drinks.

The shop was difficult to find due to the lack of signs. When my partner and I did find it, we thought we were in an office building. I think better signs on the outside of the building and throughout the building would help fix that. The menu was very diverse with its options which was nice. However, it was too confusing to read since the menu is split into three signs on separate walls, with different foods, and coffee. The coffee itself is okay. I did appreciate the friendly staff and customer service. They were very helpful with service and recommendations. Why this is a 2-star rating is due to business decisions rather than quality of coffee. If they fix certain aspects of the business it would be a higher rated establishment.

I am not as overwhelmed as some of the other people who reviewed here. Their selection of special coffee drinks is impressive, and I tried the orange creamsicle. It was good. The breakfast sandwich however was a disappointment. Breakfast sandwiches need to be made with eggs over medium or hard otherwise the yoke runs out and it becomes way too messy which is exactly what happened to mine. Service was iffy, kind of slow, but pleasant.

The coffee was delicious, my husband got the black pepper coffee to try something new. It was not our favorite although if that is what you like I can see the appeal. We also got a breakfast sandwich and it was so delicious!! 10/10 would recommend you giving them a visit!!

I cant say enough good about Cupla Coffee! This is definitely my go-to location now whenever Im in SLC! Ive been on the keto diet for almost two years now, and in that two years Ive found plenty of keto friendly places, but rarely does any of the staff actually know anything about the diet. However, when I asked about keto options, not only did they have several options, but they actually knew how to modify any of the dishes to make them keto friendly!Having great food and amazing options for those on specific diets (gluten free, vegan, keto, Paleo, etc) is one thing, but what really makes this place stand out is the incredible service! You can tell they really put their love into what they do, and it shows! Their positive energy and vibe flow through the house feeding everyone in it with that great energy like a river running through a desert and bringing life to everything it touches! We need more places like this in the world, bringing people together and smiles on faces! Thanks for being so awesome!

The selection of specialty drinks is one of the most unique I have seen at a coffee shop. I was a little hesitant walking into an office building to try Cupla, but once I ventured downstairs the space turned into a social oasis. The staff was extremely friendly, as were the guests, and as I gathered my latte, I hesitantly returned to my home office, because I was enjoying the experience. The espresso was well balanced and made a delightful latte. My next visit, Ill be bringing my laptop to soak in a little more of Cuplas ambiance while I complete a few tasks for work.

The “very” good: Multiple gluten-free options, drinks with YL Oils are awesome! Employees are super sweet, friendly, always smiling and work hard to create a quality service environment. I had The Egg & Cheese on gluten free toast, it was made fresh, cooked to order...and SO good! Guatemala drip coffee was dark with excellent flavor. The seating area is small, but super comfortable. The not-so good: with a long line, service can be slow. From joining the line to receiving food was 55 minutes. The food and drinks were totally worth it, but definitely plan for extra time if the line is long. Drip coffee is from a large container and not made on the spot. Forgot to get me my coffee, had to ask. The line area and order area were very warm, best guess around 76, not unbearable, but could have had more A/C.Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely return for another Egg & Cheese sandwich and coffee!

If you are looking a coffee shop to make your Instagram followers envious of your posts, this is the place to be. If you want great coffee and food, any other coffee shop/cafe within walking distance is superior. If I was to review the establishment on aesthetics and customer service, Cupla would easily be 5 stars. The service is stellar and untouchable, friendly and professional. The atmosphere is top notch. It’s in the basement of a building and there a small glass ceiling that allows you to see the street above. This is pretty awesome and makes the business worth visiting...once.The espresso is fine, nothing wrong with it, it’s just forgettable . The lavender syrup was overpowering with the London fog. The food while presented beautifully and obviously fresh, it was bland. If I were to come back to this place, I would bring some salt and pepper.I would recommend other people to visit business at least once for exceptional service and atmosphere, I would also quickly recommend other places that are within walking distance that have better food and/or coffee such as the Rose Establishment, Eva’s Bakery, and Three Pine Coffee.

I have been drinking coffee in Salt Lake for almost a decade at this point and I rarely find myself wanting to leave a review. However, it is now time to review Cupla. This quaint den hidden from the roar of traffic and the thunder of the citys ever present construction situation was exactly the calm and reserve that I needed starting my week. When I happened across the signs on the sidewalk, I felt like I was discovering my new favorite coffee shop all over again. Every step of the way down into the cloistered coffee space made me feel like I could really enjoy my experience drinking a cul of coffee. And boy, how I was right. From the moment I met with the baristas, they took the time to learn my name and introduce the others who employed the space. It wasnt like other coffee shops where you meet just another barista who is taking just another order. I felt like the folks at Cupla were more welcoming than any coffee shop I have ever been a part of.I have to give a shout out to the baristas for making a point to help bring each person after me into a better state than they came in. Learning names, offering food, and even going so far as to learn what brought people in or how their day was going. Really, this was a different kind of experience. So why the 4 stars? Why not 5 stars? Heres why. This was my first time. Giving a 5 star review on a first visit is a bit presumptuous. There were probably things that I wasnt noticing, there were probably things that I didnt like but wasnt concious of, and there were probably parts of my experience that could change if I was in a different mood or on a different day. But I anticipate visiting more than once, and if I absolutely cannot find anything that would detract from my experience, I will happily give a 5 star review.Thank you, Cupla. It feels good to be home.

Pretentious. Avoid. Had iced coffee, matcha tea. Coffee was ok, tea had no flavor needs to seep much longer. The sandwich is a joke, you pay $2 extra for turkey bacon and it was literally 1 square inch. Pastry obviously reheated. All of this is OK if youre spending 10-15. But im not quite sure how they come off charging 30? Just go the million better options around in downtown.
