Can I give this place 10 stars? Anyone who has seen any of my other reviews know Im either hot or cold, no where in the middle. I had been going to Eyesite for Sacramento for 10 years and loved Dr. Serdahl, but after a very negative experience with his front office on the phone I said enough was enough. After waiting 20+ minutes on the phone I was asked if I was an existing patient, mind you I had been going here for 10 years. I have also had my fair share of mediocre PCP experiences as well, so again saying this was awesome means a lot.First, Dr. Schauffele and I talked about my medical history; all females have lost their sight to macular degeneration. This is something Im very scared of. Dr. Schauffele ran a test specifically for that, as well as performed other normal tests that I had never had before. They are also up to date on their knowledge of lenses coatings (theres one that includes blue light protection). I loved everything about this office; Heidi, Tom, Eldon..Everyone was awesome..Thank you.

Dr. Schauffele and her staff are wonderful and I cannot recommend them more highly. Dr. Schauffele is a skilled doctor, but where her office shines is in their commitment to knowing their patients on a personal level and ensuring that their needs are met. I have some specific needs and am not an easy in, easy out patient. I am so grateful for the teams patience with my needs and willingness to work with me, even after the lab messed up my glasses order, several times. Dr. Schauffele and Gabby bent over backwards to make things right and make me feel like I was cared for and not just another patient. Thank you!!!

Very cozy atmosphere. All staff including dr provided a1 customer service. Everyone was very friendly, patient and personable. Dr. Schauffle made sure I was fully educated on each procedure and does her job as if she truly cares for her patients. She made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions. The first time Ive ever been asked for feedback at the end of a visit unless by survey. I found this place through my insurance and chose because it was close to home. They are stuck with me now 😁UPDATE: So I got my glasses and am now seeing in HD. They fit perfectly!! Also, if anyone is worried about appointments during the pandemic they are following COVID safety guideline

Dr. Schauffele is very good at explaining procedure, and findings of exam, listens to my concerns and explains thoroughly what was found during the exams. The exams are very through and if any medical conditions require more detailed examination, the more detailed exams are explained as to why it is required prior to the additional exam. Highly recommend Schauffele & Fleischmann, O.D.s to anyone looking for optometry services.

I chose this place randomly because they take my insurance and are near my house. Dr. Schauffele is really wonderful. She doesn’t rush and is very thorough, personable, and kind. The rest of the staff is well informed, professional, and friendly. If you’re forgetful they’re really good about reminders via text or phone call. Recently I had some eye problems, and they offered me a same day and next day appointment. I was really grateful. Great customer service, highly recommend them.

Never had a problem until today, had a emergency where I needed my prescription and with plenty of time before it closed, I asked if they could send it to me through email and they refused. Im not sure if they understand wat It feels like to not see for a period of time or how I can possibly do anything if I cant see. Seems like they were more interested in packing up and getting out of there.

Dr. Schauffele is a great eye doctor. I have seen her several times now and she has been great every time. She is very thorough and explains every so well. I feel very comfortable with her. And the office staff was very helpful; with getting my insurance coverage straightened out, with my eye tests, and with helping me pick out my new frames for my new glasses. I would recommend this office to anyone. They are great!

Excellent pricing, very friendly staff. I have been going here for my check-ups and glasses/contacts for several years now. I never have a problem getting an appointment pretty quickly and they honor their warranty policies! They even researched and helped me when I was on vacation and lost my prescription sunglasses. Love these folks! I see Dr. Heidi Schauffele and I have met Dr. Fleischmann. I would recommend them to anyone.

After numerous phone calls to optometrists in the Sacramento area to find a participating Medicare office, imagine my surprise to hear of this office less than 2 miles from my home. I called and spoke with a pleasant young woman named Brianna, who was bubbly and cheerful as she answered my numerous questions. She encouraged me to just drop in with my glasses prescription which I did that very afternoon.Once there I met Whitney, the optical tech who was very personable and professional as she assisted me in choosing my glasses. When my selection was complete, Whitney informed me that it would take 7-10 business days for the lab to complete the prescription. I was able to pick up my glasses on the 7th business day. I was very comfortable and felt welcome throughout my entire experience with this office and I will gladly recommend it to family and friends in the future.

I had been a patient of a one of the most prestigious eye doctors in our area for years, but I never received the extensive exam/attention that I received from Dr. Fleischmann. He is thorough and took a lot of time to determine the best prescription that would help me see clearly with my eye problem. He is very personable, too. Also, for the first time in my life, I found frames that were within my insurance policys free coverage--a bonus! I recommend Tom Fleschmanns practice to everyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fleischmanns for many years. The service and professionalism of the office are outstanding. The eye examination and ordering glasses are easy and convenient. They have a great selection of frames to choose from. All of the options are explained clearly. I recommend this office to anyone needing eye care.

My family has been going to Dr Fleischmann and Dr Schauffele for more than 10 years. The doctors and the staff are wonderful - both with adults and kids! Professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly, they greet everyone with smiles. I always leave feeling that we got the best eye care.

Dr. Schauffele is extremely thorough and skilled. The staff are great with young children (new glasses), too!

Poor service and information provived by an otherwise friendly staff. Fees and pricing scales are inflated as well leaving little to no value. The convenience was simply not worth the cost.

Dr. Heidi Schauffele is an experienced Optometrist with excellent bedside manners. In my experience, shes also an investigator with a genuineinterest in helping her patients research and explore other options in those rare cases when the standard of care may not be the solution.

Went here for my check up, havnt been to an eye doctor in years, like since elementary, they were very fast to get your eyes examined and give you your measurements, or prescription. and you dont have to buy glasses from them, you can go elsewhere for glasses. very nice and friendly staff

I have had eye problems since birth. Even when I had Kaiser I paid out of pocket Because of the high standards and care provided by Dr. Fleischmann. I have been going to him since the 1980s when I first moved to this area and will not go anywhere else..

Have always been very satisfied with all the staff and services at this office, especially Dr. Fleischmann who has taken care of all of us in our family. I must add that Dr. Schauffele took very good care of me in an emergency situation on a weekend when Dr. Fleishcmann was not available.

Drs. Fleischmann and Schauffele provide expert eyecare! They are thorough andtake their time to explain how to better care for our eyes. Their comprehensive testsallow them to see any changes from year to year. I feel like part of their family whenI have my annual checkup. Everyone is kind and helpful.
