One of the best, fastest experiences Ive ever had! I went in here desperate trying to find something last minute for a wedding. Not only was the entire staff helpful, but the young girl was able to find my exact taste and style right away! Not to mention they have a wonderful seamstress lady on hand who altered my dress to fit like a glove in 10 min! I will always come to them anytime I need any type of dress!

Cheap quality clothes that sell for 1/10 price elsewhere, big time cheaters. They oversell you and doesn’t listen to your requirements instead forces you to buy something that you’re not happy with. Please never pay money upfront without getting the clothes delivered fully. They have a reputation to provide false promises. Thank you.

Guys, buying clothes here is big scam. Milan is the worst person to do business with. I bought clothes for my wedding 3 months advance. He promised it will be delivered and took full money. He never picks up my call and never delivered the clothes. My marriage is done and I had to wear old clothes just because he cheated me by making false promises. Milan one time picked up my call and changed the accent in middle of the conversation and talked as he is Milan’s brother (Never ever experienced this kind of cheating) I feel responsible to share my experience with the others and save people from getting cheated. Don’t think it won’t happen to you, I thought the same but it happened to me. There are so many stores out there don’t get cheated by Milan.

This is the worst store I have ever been to!!! The customer service is a ZERO and the clothes are the cheapest quality ever. They overcharged for my lehenga choli and added on all extra charges for stitching. The stitching was so bad that I had to redo the entire thing with another tailor. Dont even waste your time here!

The lady who tailored my suit had strands of strings all over the jemper and the pants did not fit at all, it was uncomfortable. and she was 2 weeks late of getting my suit made.. the tailor also never answered her phone.

These people just make fake promises and charge a lot of money as compare to the quality. When you confront them, they completely lie to your face and blame you for everything. Complete fraud.

They charged me a lot for Anarkali suit and the suit was ripped and they didn’t gave my money back. My experience was very bad.

The employees are so rude, they sell dresses that are low quality at expensive prices they dress I bought from here was so large and ripped they didnt change for me 👎👎👎

Employees are not helpful at all. We walked around like flies for 20 minutes asking for help and walked out. We asked for help and no one was helping instead they were calling eachother to help us.

Great store, excellent service. It may look like a hole in the wall, and it may look disorganised, but they will find you the best indian clothes and matching jewelry. The service is amazing the always make you feel like youre the most important customer ever.

I bought so many things from this place, over $1,500 worth of clothing for over 7 events & they had the nerve/audacity to tell me I never buy anything just look and leave in a offensive manner. One day I came in to see if I liked anything and they told me & my mom that we just look & never buy anything out loud. I reminded them of all the suits I bought and they were arguing. I weigh 109 lbs & I’m almost 5’8. Before this occurring I was trying on a suit that didn’t fit then the lady rudely said I need to “lose weight” to fit the outfit when I am very petite. They also change their PRICES constantly. Sometimes $500 sometimes $300, you can’t rely on them to be fair and not fraudulent. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

This store is awesome. The owner is super sweet and friendly. He treats you as if youre family. This store deserves to get acknowledged as much as it can. The prices are reasonable and theres a great variety.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They are racists, read the other reviews. The good reviews are from the people who work there. I am surprised that they havent gone out of business yet. They do not have prices on anything and will profile you to give you a price. That is highly illegal. Good luck staying in business... change your ways and maybe treat your customers right?

So, I go there for the first time trying to by me a Kurta Pajama and trying on couple of them, and theres no price on any of them. This guy who was the owner of it was very deceiving and he totally price his items based on how you look. When I decided to buy my outfit, at first he looked at my watch and based on what I wear he gave me a price for $120 and then I said no way I wont pay you more then 60, so what he did i gave him my card and he ended up charging me $90 for something that worth not more then $30. Buyers please be AWARE, any price he or they tell you, cut it down by half! I thought to throw this out there for everyone to know!

There is no such thing as customer service at this place. They are also very deceiving, they do not have prices listed on their merchandise which is actually illegal in the state of California. I will be reporting them for conducting illegal business. They give you a price based on your appearance.Save yourself time and money. Dont give them your business.

I have bought few things from this place. Recently I was there , I wanted to see few items and I was told they will show me only if I buy it. How can I buy if I don’t see it. The sales guy really got mad at me. Don’t know how they do Business. The owner is always nice there is one new guy could be the son, was asking the other young girl working there to don’t show me in Panjabi. I was planning to buy few things but nah I change my mind. That guy was asking me to buy something “ bohoni karado” he was saying. I stopped going Rupam because they are completely Rip off!! You guys need to be polite to customers. Customer is always right! . I’m very disappointed I felt like they wanted me out of there if I was not buying ☹️

The store is laden with beautiful clothing, of course. The clothing is type sectioned so that whatever you want they just get it. I was greeted with warm customer service from the two young ladies and was offered some sweets as I walked about from two gentlemen. Finally, I decided upon a rack of red bracelets and a gold scarf with mirrors and some shoes. The cashier, the grandfather, I suppose made sure that I got the correct size bracelet and shoes, and I was shown a box of golden scarfs reasonably priced $40 for that. Nice experience but I felt a little awkward since I dont speak the language and I couldnt find a casual suit.LayoutClothing

Spent $350 on a dress for a wedding and when I drive here to collect after it being sent for dry cleaning, and they don’t have. The owner told me I’d have to drive to antelope to get it myself then started talking in Hindi so I couldn’t understand! Then refused to talk to me because I’m a woman! Horrible place!!

Chawla emporium has mediocre suits....and their customer service is horrible. The owners are very up tight, stubborn, and stuck up. They dont negotiate at all and dont care about their customers returning. The bridal lenghas are scattered over the floor and people are allowed to touch them and try them on even though they are being stitched for someone else. I even saw one of their owners stepping on the chunniyan because of how messy it is in there.

This place seems to be all dandy but dont fall for it I pre ordered my lengha to wear this weekend after being told it would be here hand delivered on the 18th of July I didnt receive it until the 19th at night after having to change my flights to get to LA after finally getting it it was way to big and way to long have to get the entire lengha re-stitched and they are saying its not their fault and they will not give me my money back nor will they pay for the alterations so I WILL NEVER EVER COME BAVK TO THIS PLACE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL !!!!

Went in for unstitched fabric for 5 year old; got 2 sets for $67 which was very expensive for cheap plain clothes. When I took it my tailor, she thought one of them was for me instead of a 5 year old because the shop owner gave me 2 yards of fabric for kameez, alone. Never shopping here again. Was my first and last time.
