Fergusons out performs any big box store. Their knowledgeable staff and well stocked stores cant be beat. They are a contractors supply house so if you are a homeowner doing your own repairs be prepare to act professional.

Worst place to delivery. They take for ever to unload. Being here for 4 hours and still not unloaded and they want you have appt. For what?

Worst place for truck drivers to make a delivery! Avoid this place if you want to get to your next load on time. They make you wait an extra day if your a running a little late for something that should take 10 minutes to unload. Specially when your dealing with Victor. They have no respect for their drivers.

My contractor suggested I go here to order a shower pan for our remodel. I called on a monday and placed the order over the phone. I was told the pan would be in on Wednesday or thursday. On thursday I drove my truck to work instead of my commuter, I drove up to the location on my lunch and after a search in the computer and around their lot and warehouse I was told they didnt have it and it would be in the next week on tuesday or wednesday. I was also told that deliveries from this manufacturer were only delivered once a week and the delivery should be 1 day from their warehouse to the auburn location. I was also told it gets delivered to the power inn location first then it goes from there to the auburn location. When I asked why I was told it would be there wednesday or thursday I was told that the only way it would be there the same week was if the order was placed on a monday before about 8:30am. Being that power inn is closer to me, I asked if they could just hold it there. I received a call from someone at the power inn location that they should have it monday or tuesday and that the mistake was on the manufacturers side, that it didnt get sent out from them. I then reiterated to the guy at power inn that that location is closer to me and it would be significantly closer for me to pick it up there, the guy said no problem. So I wait and I wait to get a call that the pan is in, nothing. I call the power inn location on wednesday and I am told the pan is in, and it is waiting for me at the auburn location. Every time I talked to someone at this company I was told conflicting information. It seems that their inventory and ordering system has some very big flaws if they dont know if they have an item, if it has been received, when something was ordered, or when it will be received. And then I asked for a small change that would have made my life significantly easier, and they couldnt do that.

I AM NEVER COMING INTO THIS PLACE AGAIN....EMPLOYEES WATCHED ME SEARCH AIMLESSLY WITHOUT OFFERING HELP...AND THEN WHEN I ASKED FOR HELP IT SEEMED LIKE I WAS JUST AN INCONVENIENCE....I ASKED FOR A 3/4 FLOAT VALVE WITH THE FLOAT AND I WAS REFERRED DOWN THE STREET TO THE HVAC DEPARTMENT....I WAS KINDA LEARY, I MEAN WHY WOULD HVAC HAVE A PLUMBING PART? BUT NEVER THE LESS I DROVE DOWN THE STREET TO THE HVAC DEPARTMENT AND ASKED FOR THE THE FLOAT ONLY TO BE LOOKED AT LIKE MY FACE WAS PAINTED GREEN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. MY ADVICE TO FERGUSON PLUMBING WORKS IS TO GREET YOUR CUSTOMER AND ASK IF THEY NEED HELP....SO THAT MEANS YOU HAVE TO PUT THE METH PIPE DOWN AND BE POLITE TO YOUR CUSTOMER WHO IS TRYING TO PUT MONEY IN YOUR REGISTER. HOPEFULLY I HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE AT GRAINGER, BECAUSE FERGUSON JUST LOST A GOOD CASH PAYING CUSTOMER.
