My grandma sent me to this florist, based on previous experience. It was a sad occasion and took a lot out of me, but to follow my grandma request, I did as she asked me.She initially tried choosing flowers from their website, which they had many choices to choose from. Ultimately, she allowed me to just go pick a set of flowers.I knew it was a big task, as the arrangement was for a family member, who was placed on hospice.My grandma sent me with a color scheme she wanted, which was red and purple. The lady who helped me, did an amazing job, after giving her a short briefing.My gosh, I trusted her, and she made an amazing bouquet of flowers. I couldnt thank her enough. The flowers that I took home for my mom stayed fresh for weeks I could not believe how long they lasted. I was treated with Great customer service. I was very impressed by their display of flower arrangements. If they did not have the flowers and stocked I was told they could be picked up same day if needed . The store has many gifts to offer to go along with the flower arrangements. There is a wide variety of gifts for every occasion or for anyone and the flowers are made to order or you can tell them exactly what flower arrangement you want from a picture and they will make it. If a delivery is needed they will go almost anywhere or if out of the area they will find a shop highly rated to complete the order for you. This flower shop is the best shop in the city.

Its unfortunate that one bad apple can ruin it for the rest. I have used this shop on four different occasions now. This last time will be my last. The ladies behind the counter were perfectly pleasant. Unfortunately I was helped by the lady that was not behind the counter and she was not pleasant at all. Her answers and the way she spoke to me was very entitled, condescending, and dismissive. There was a little misunderstanding regarding the pickup date and an email I received, but I can look past all that. But rude people really bothers me. I had already paid, they had my money. I just didnt expect such bad treatment after spending over 100 dollars. Actually, you shouldnt treat costumers like that no matter how mush they spend, but the fact that I have spent so much at this shop was just a slap in the face. I didnt catch the persons name but if anyone at the shop reads this, I get the feeling theyll know who it is. I will never buy from this place again.

The most scandalous flower shop ever.Talk about being taken advantage of while headed to a funeral. Not only they ignored me while they were having there morning meeting when I walked in, they over charged me for 12 Loose, spray roses at $77.00 bucks a dozen..never doing business there again.Shoot, same flowers at Trader Joe’s, $9.99 a dozen!! Shame on you guys!!

I live in San Diego and wanted to send flowers to my girlfriend who lives in Sacramento. I dont like 1-800-Flowers or similar services because I have had such bad experiences. I wanted a local florist and was referred to Madison Ave Florist by a friend. I contacted them and spoke to Tom to let him know what I was looking for. I sent him a photo, info about what flowers and look I was going for, and asked for a quote. Within an hour or 2 he had responded and even told me about a vase he had that he thought would compliment the look. I also wanted peonies which are my GFs favorite flowers and he was able to get some even though they are not in season. I placed the order on Tues and they were delivered on Fri. It was a pretty pricey arrangement, but they went above and beyond to make it perfect. It looked even better than the photo I had sent them. I was very impressed by their level of customer service and attention to detail to make it even better than I couldve imagined. They totally nailed it and when my GF called me and was in tears because of how touched she was by the gesture, I could not have asked for anything more. She said they were perfect...and that is Priceless!I would highly recommend Maddison Ave. Flowers for any occasion. You will not regret it!

I live in Arizona. I called this morning to send an arrangement to a dear friend who recently lost her daughter. Since I have had concerns in the past with floral shops out of state, I asked Jackie if she could send a picture of the arrangement before it went out. She said she would do that and that the arrangement would more then likely get there before lunch. I waited for the photo. I was excited to see it because the arrangement was going to display bright colors that me dear friend adored. The arrangement was delivered and I did not receive any photo. I had such a simple request. I also shared with Jackie the problems I had with other floral shops in the past with sending flowers that werent what I ordered, or expired. I even called back before they were delivered and this time the girl said she would remind Jackie as soon as we were off the phone. Still no photo. Dont agree to do something for a customer then not follow through!!

Unfortunately, with COVID there was a snafu in the delivery (not the florist fault). It is always anxious ordering flowers from an unknown florist across the state, especially when only two remain open during the pandemic. When a couple key flowers in the arrangement on their website were not available, the owner took the trouble to have the employee who arranged the flowers talked with us to decide on the right substitute. And even though our order past the regular cutoff time, they accomplished the mission and deliverered the flowers timely. Most gratifying was hearing from the recipient of the flowers how appreciative she was and how beautiful the arrangement was. Flowers can be very powerful in comforting someone in distress. First of all, the arrangement was absolutely beautiful! The extra care that went into creating is well noted. Secondly, Madison Avenue Florist went above and beyond when it came to delivering. My husband was in ICU for a week and they tried repeatedly to ensure we received the delivery. When we missed them and were released from ICU to home, they went the extra step to deliver the arrangement to our home (which was no where near the hospital). Although we were the receiver of the gift, I highly recommend Madison Avenue Florist - I will use them for all of our future gift arrangements!

I ordered my wedding flowers online from a different company and needed one more corsage. Lisa was so helpful allowing me to text her pictures of the corsages that I had and sending me back ideas of what she could do. She surprised me when I went to pick it up by having two corsages ready, one for the mother of the groom and one for the mother of the bride. Needless to say, Lisa made our special day so much more special by being a thoughtful caring person and the corsages were absolutely beautiful! They have earned all of my business and I will refer all of my family and friends to them.

I really enjoyed buying an anniversary flower arrangement at Madison Avenue Florist recently. Good people! I found a bouquet of mostly yellow roses in the cold case that was almost what I had in mind for my 42nd wedding anniversary. The floral designer took my comments and added many more yellow roses to the arrangement and created exactly what I was looking to find. Within twenty minutes, I was on my way home with the bouquet in hand to surprise my wife. She was very pleased! Buying from a local florist, rather than a run-of-the-mill online flower company is a much more personal and rewarding experience. Buying flowers for a loved one should be personal. Sometimes we need to take time out from our computers-do-everything daily routine and put forth the effort to make personal connections. A great shop, with quality flowers, which I can easily recommend!

Recently found this florist place and I love it. They did same day delivery for me; made me really nice bouquets. I called them once while driving there asking to prepare me a nice bouquet for my loved one, just giving them my budget, and by the time I got there, a beautiful bouquet was waiting for me. Of course the really nice ones arent going to be 10$, but they are not Walmart quality either. If you want a nice bouquet to impress your loved one, call them / go there!
