This location is top notch! Jose has always helped me out a lot in choosing the best tires for my vehicles and never disappoints. I know I can count on him! I totally recommend going to this location for tires and speaking to Jose he will get you the best tires there is.

Quick professional and nice even though they were experiencing computer issues...I had a flat tire..they helped soo much!

Had to wait over an hour for an oil change and my car was only one in the garage. Then they told me my car wouldnt start and my battery tested bad and I needed a new one. We had them jump start and then they admitted it was just a loose battery terminal. Wont be back!!

Too bad I cannot give this shop zero stars because their customer service skills and our overall experience here was a ZERO. My husband and I were driving from Colorado to Southern Florida for the winter when the air conditioner on my newer model Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit started blowing hot. We were already in Dallas visiting family so we checked on the warranty company’s website and saw that NTB was on their list of approved garages so my husband took it up to them at 7:30am. They said no problem, they’d fix it. He gave them the warranty information & asked Jose (the manager) to deal directly with the warranty company. This is when everything went south. Hours later Jose called to say that the problem was a crack in a hose and he would need to order the part, probably wouldn’t be until the next day. This significantly delayed our schedule since we were only half way to Florida but we knew we didn’t want to drive further south with no A/C so we told him to go ahead and order it. The following day, Jose told us he was not going to be able to do the work after all. He stated that he couldn’t come to an agreement on pricing with the warranty company. At this point we were really upset and I called our warranty company to find out what was going on. They said NTB submitted an estimate with grossly inflated prices and they rejected it. Even the price of the Freon was inflated almost double. I called Jose personally and asked if there was anyway we could figure out a way to get the repair done so we could get on the road and he basically said that he absolutely was not going to do the work and not make his profit margin. He’d rather make ZERO than whatever he was going to make off our job and left a couple stranded on the road! He offered zero apologies or anything. Showed zero empathy and couldn’t answer me when I asked why he signed up as an approved vendor of hex not going to honor our warranty. The warranty company was really upset with him. They filed a complaint and said they’re pulling him and NTB off their list. When we finally got the Jeep into a garage to fix the a/c, turns out his assessment was wrong. The hose he said he needed was the wrong part number to start off with and it needed an entire new compressor! So, even had he agreed to do the job, it would have been additional days added on because of his incompetence. My warranty company said the discrepancy was over a very small amount of money and only because he was being extremely greedy and inflating the parts. Beware of this garage - they don’t care AT ALL about their customers. They only care about how much money they’re going to make. They are rude, incompetent and greedy.

Went & took my car there for a flat repair. The Store Manager there Robert took the time to take me out in the shop and show me that my tires were bad & that just my front brakes needed to be replaced. He could’ve easily sold me the back brakes as well but stated that they were perfectly fine & over all my car was in great shape. I like his honesty & will be back with my other cars.

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I will never use NTB again, My wife took our SUV in 10/16/2018 to have a tire checked that was losing air. They looked at it and said they couldnt find nothing wrong and put some air in it and said to bring it back if she continued to have air loss. This morning 10/17/2018 I noticed the tire was flat so I replaced it with the spare. I went over the tire last night when i put air in and I really looked at it this morning when i took it off. I had her take the tire back to NTB Rowlett so they could check it out again. This picture below is the the tire with a nail that they could not find yesterday and I was told I missed today. Im telling you they thought they could pull a fast one as a women was there. They put this nail in the side wall knowing that a nail in the side wall can not be repaired and then tried to charge her 250.00 for a new tire. Please be aware of the unethical happenings at this location

This location is incredible. This is the only place our entire family will service our vehicles. Dustin the manager goes beyond his call of duty in making sure the customers are taken care of. In fact, I sent my neighbor there for new tires and she said it was the easiest tire buying experience she has had.

Did an excellent job with the oil change and wheel balancing.

Went in for a tire rotation and while my car was in the shop, it was found that I had a bad tire and the others were very low. Had them give me options on tires and they were very helpful on finding me a quality set of tires that wouldn’t empty my pocket! Wait time was short and customer service was great! Will return in the future.

Great customer service! Went in for an oil change, and found out my brakes were needing to be replaced very soon. Set up an appointment for the next day when i had time. Dustin (store manager he informed me) is a honest sales man and i will always take my car there from now on.

Called to see how much a wheel baring would cast to replace, when I went in the next morning the price when up by $ 260 so I called another NTB location and they said thats not right

I debated whether to or not to post this. In my opinion, it should not take an hour to change oil and repair a tire. While in the waiting room with my son, the cleanliness of the waiting room, water machine and counter/door, restroom. The staff is young, that could be the reason the cleanliness is terrible. Im questioning going back.

$89.00 alignment, should cost $89.00. they tell me its $179.00. because my truck was more out alignment than most.No where did their price list mention that some variation of alignment might cost more

Excellent service.

The bad: I was here having a lot of work done on my car. While they were doing their free inspection, they informed me that they found that my battery wasnt performing as it should. They showed me the readout of how many cold crank amps it was putting out, and I agreed it was time to replace the battery. I was thankful they pointed it out to me so that I could do something about it before it died unexpectedly. However, my car wouldnt start 2 weeks later, and AAA came out and told me my battery was dead. As it turns out, NTB didnt replace my battery. Due to some miscommunication between mechanic and sales associate, they failed to inform me that the battery I needed was out of stock.The Really Good: As I was saying, 2 weeks later, AAA came to jump start my car, and I drove it back to this NTB to find out what happened. This is when I found out that they didnt have the battery in stock, and neither did any other NTB in the area. I called AAA back to see if they could bring me the battery I needed, but they didnt have one either. At this point it was looking like I was going to have to wait until the next day to get a new battery, but the sales associate offered to drive me down to Auto Zone to get a new battery, which they did. I was very thankful for that dedication in getting me what I needed.Despite the prior mistake and all the hassle, they really do have top-notch service, and all my visits to this location have been pleasant experiences.

Jovan was awesome. He took the extra time to align my car properly. I had been to another shop that made excuses of why they couldnt finish my alignment. Definitely recommend this place for their services.

Said they could not repair tire and also said all 4 tires needed replacing which was not true according g to two other places. Rowlett Discount Tire found the leak and patched it no problems.

The facility was clean and nicely kept. Dan was very pleasant both over the phone and in person. I came in to get a brake inspection. The wait was a little long, which I didnt mind at all. After leaving the location, I noticed that one of my hubcaps was missing when I arrived to my home. Since it was close to closing time, I called the location the next morning to ask if maybe it was left there. The employee said he reviewed the camera footage and all 4 were put on, and said it probably fell off while I was driving. Ive had these on for over 2 years; through traveling long distances, driving on bumpy/gravel roads, getting new tires - and neither of them have fallen off once. Seems like it wasnt put on correctly. It was nice that the inspection was free, but now I have to pay to replace my hubcaps.

It took an hr and half to get an oil change when there was an appointment made. Horrible service

When getting an alignment ask for the before and after printouts. I asked for mine and that is when they informed me that they couldnt do the alignment but was still trying to make me pay for it. I came in for 4 tires shocks and alignment. After pulling my truck into the shop. It set there with the tires off for over two hours while the guys in the shop stood around it talking and playing on there phones. Now it has spent over two hours on the alignment rack and still setting there with nothing at all getting done to it. They finally finished my truck and it only took them a little over 5 hours.

You want find better service than we these guys give. They will go above their job to meet your tire needs. Personal always nice and polite!

I was there this week because of vibrations at speeds above 60 and when braking. I noticed last week when I came off the highway there was vibrating and there was a smell coming off the passenger front tire of brakes. I dropped it off Sunday and Monday afternoon when I came to check up on it I was advised that my wheels were out of round. I asked to have the rear wheels switched and asked to watch. After they had raised my car off the ground they wanted to show the wheel moving out of round. I saw a slight wobble off the front tire and when I looked at the passenger front the wheel wasnt moving. The car was in gear without the e-brake on and the guys who were there were suggesting that it could be the cv axle or a locked caliper. The brake light came on in my dashboard and the tires were never rotated. They told me they would call me the next day when a mechanic looked at it; lo and behold, I never got a call and after calling them twice no one answered. I called the next day to ask about it with Dan but he had no idea that they were supposed to have looked at it the day before. He had me on hold for 20 minutes and then..click. I called back and spoke to one of the guys that was at the shop on Monday Marion, he said everything checked out and that it was my slip differential..even though the car was in the air..with nothing to slip on. Today I picked my car up from Dustin and he told me the same thing, but he said that I was having these issues because of the back tires being out of round..I drove it home maybe 10 minutes away which was enough time for the rotor to heat up and start vibrating and smelling like brake. These guys are a joke and I would recommend not using them..PERIOD. Unorganized and they flat out lied to me. Im going to Jordans next time. Its right down the street and I know they can at least be competent.

This is the worst tire shop I have ever been to. First they break the glove box on my Sonata trying to change the air filter that I told them NOT to. So they have to order the parts to fix it. Then I ask them to patch a small hole on my 33 inch tire and to balance just ONE tire in specific (and I told them which one, too). So they re-balance ALL of them, and now they arent balanced at all! So I take it back and complain. So the Manager takes a look at my firs wheel and tells me its bent. Then he is quickly corrected by a lower employee and taught how to use the machine properly. But they still cant get them balanced like they were before THEY screwed them up. And to boot, the MANAGER gave me lip on several occasions after I had to correct him on things. I told the manager to his face that he will never have my business nor the business of anyone I know ever again.

This is a shop that is professional and courteous. Dustin Morgan is a tremendous employee. I took my Honda to him think I would need a new front axle. He could have easily went along with this. Instead he said the other shop was incorrect and the vehicle was fine for now. This type of intgrity is hard to find in the auto repair business these days. I highly recommend this store and it would be busier but does not have the best location.

I do not recommended store Dustin wanted to argue with me about how to balance tires when I spent many years bouncing tires also the guys in the shope told me that they were not going to work on my truck and they were going to bounce my rims the way they wanted and if I didnt like it they would charge me even though I bout 4 nitto tires from them ...and after waiting 3 hours for something that should of only taken 1 hour I get home and look at my rims and weights falling off ...I posted pics.. the worst experience I have ever had.... amazing..

Made an appointment for a screw in the tire and a TPMS fault. The guys took my truck back very quickly which was great. Discovered it was out of alignment and I had a 3 year alignment already purchased so they added that to the list of things to do. Great as well.Screw was removed and did not have to patch. This was also great.TPMS sensor work, not so great. Was told there were two bad instead of one. Fine, replace them both. 2.5 hours later, the work was finally completed. Went out to my truck to see a low tire pressure warning. Guy says, oh it will reset after you drive it around for 10 miles or so. I drive it to work a few days, the low tire pressure light goes away and now Im right back where I started with a TPMS fault.Now, i have to take time off to visit again to have the same work completed a second time. Frustrating...

Worst Customer Service ever...The store was busy on the weekend when I came in to get an oil change and a tire rotation. So I made an appointment for Monday evening at 7:00pm, assuming that would guarantee me a time. I arrived at the store today (Monday) at 6:45pm, and told the manager that I had an appointment at 7pm. He asked me if I could come back in the morning. I told him no, because I work downtown, and had made an appointment specifically so that I could get my car looked at without having to wait. He replied that all of the bays were full and that it would not be possible to service my car tonight. I asked him what was the point of taking appointments if he had no intention of honoring them? He replied sarcastically that I was welcome to walk in to the waiting area and ask all of the people there to step aside and let me go first. I replied, you have just lost my business and left the store.

Dustin takes great care of my vehicles and I am very happy that I have someone I can trust to tell me the truth about what my car needs. Highly recommend!

I am a mom with a toddler and cringed going to filthy restroom. Stopped for quick oil and full car inspection was done. Friendly staff. Inspection failed had a light on the inside top of my car that was out. Took it somewhere elsewhere inspection passed. Overpriced get a second opinion before doing any work.

Was told on the phone that it should only be 30 to 45 mins for a tire patch on the phone, get here and the guy laughs at me and said more like an hour and a half. Then asked if I wanted to just drop off the tire and come back to pick it up even though Im sitting on a donut. This is my second time here and the first time took over 2 hours to replace 1 tire and the guy tried to up sale me the entire time, I will not come back.Update, 2 hours later my car is finally done after it is $22 for a patch on attire find out $10 of that is to balance the tire even though the technician didnt do it when I say that technician never balance the tire they told me that yes he did blatantly lying to my face because I watched him not balance it and the manager shrugged rolled his eyes and walked away I called corporate and they will be doing an investigation of this location after all of the complaints that they have received.

I called the ntb in rowlett on Saturday and spoke to a gentleman named Dustin. I had a tires purchased there a few years back and one had go flat and appeared to be irreparable (side wall damage)so I asked him if road hazard had been purchase. He said it had been and then I asked if he had the tire in stock and he said he did. So I asked what time the store closed on Sunday and he said 5. Now obviously I didn’t ask what time the store closed because I was planning on coming in that morning. He didn’t ask what time I was planning on coming in and knowing this was a fairly slow store thought getting there by 415 or so wouldn’t overly inconvenience anyone. And he didn’t indicate I needed to be there by a given time. So when I got there at 415 Sunday I noticed that the tires had about 8 to 10 k miles on them and asked the clerk writing up the ticket if he would add a rotation and balance for the other tires ( under warranty)since I was already there. Dustin ( standing nearby) tells me he talked to me on the phone and he would allow the tire purchase but didn’t have to take it. However he wouldn’t do anything else. I started to hammer him ( figuratively speaking) and he said that he would reluctantly do the rotation (a 5 minute job ) but not the balance( a 10 minute jov

Great place for tires and always good service. Wont try and tack on extras li ke other tire shops. Get the road hazard plan, it will save you $$$ in the end.

I hate to see the bad reviews here, these folks have always treated me right. I get my oil changed and tires rotated here every so often and theyve always been courteous, fast, and they did a good job.

First of all, Dustin is a tremendous manager. He just has a poor staff doing sales/service tickets.I was told last week that a torque engine mount would cost no more than $150 with parts and labor. Today I had the job done and it was $232. The part was $141. I saw at checkout paperwork from AutoZone. The part sales for $50 online or in the store. Obviously with a discount NTB probably paid $35 to AutoZone. While the work was being done, I asked Dan about the mark up on the part. He mumbled an incoherent answer that ended with that is what the system says to charge. Next time I will go back to the non price gauging Golden Rule Auto Care in Rowlett.

I went to check my tires because the light repeatedly came on even after the first two times, they said they saw no nails in them. Then I come back and the man with glasses tells me one of my tires has two nails in it and I have to buy a new one. The other one had insurance so I got it replaced for a discount but I took it to another place to get the “tire with two nails” checked out. There was no nails in it at all! He was trying to get me to spend more money; and my light hadn’t came on since I got the insured one replaced so I would say take your car for a second opinion after coming to this location!

Good job just be aware of prices and dont be afraid to get a second opinion. I have always gotten good work done here but I agree they always have had a list of recommended services.

I have used this location since it opened. they do all of our vehicles. We have always been treated well. They are extremely honest and trustworthy. Not always the cheapest but close.

Customer services lacks at this location. This was my 2nd attempt. Never had issues at other locations. I will stop and never recommend rowlett hwy 66 lovation.

Went to the store in rowlett that i always go to to have my oil changed the guy behind counter informs me i must go full synthetic i told him no i have conventional i have always had my oil changed here and always stay conventional he refused to look up my account to see what i normally get and proceed to try and charge me for the service i was refusing told me company policy says they have to go to full synthetic he didnt want to give me my keys as he had already put me in system and said now i would have to pay for oil change my truck was still parked in spot i left it i called another ntb store and he looked up my account and said he can do my oil change at conventional since that was what i had before with no hassle

They are Ok I guess, always price check when dealing with these people...there is always someone more cost effective.

Went in with a flat tire, had a feeling it wasnt fixable and being that my car uses bicycle tires (its a kia) had a feeling theyd have to be ordered. Since I was the one to change my flat, also had a feeling the lug nuts wouldnt be on too tight. They tightened the nuts for me and I was on my way to the dealership where I spent 3 hours. I dont know why anyone would think you wouldnt anywhere. Bring a book to any oil change place and expect everyone of them to tell you what else you might need done. You dont have to get it done, its their job to tell you. These guys were very friendly

Wasted to much time on a bunch of BS, I said not BS when I went to get $20 oil change and they try to sell me tires, understandable but I requested no BS, then they quoted the muffler BS and I wish they would not of wasted my time, should of been obvious by all the stuff I had holding it together and on the car I wasnt replacing it. Also they did a alignment on a van that I bought and it had to of had bad tie rods when they did it and they still did it.

Dont let these scumbags touch your vehicle. Replaced a pitman arm and damaged the steering wheel gearbox pounding on it to get the pitman arm off. Found out later they didnt even have the puller - they had to go rent one. Refused to accept responsibility. Not one single pop or creak until we drove it out of there.

Definitely check your car before you leave the parking lot because there is usually something missing and or broke so definitely double check the work once you drive off they will argue it was already like that I know from personal experience I personally do not know how they stay in business

You go for tires, right? Well they didnt have mine in stock nor did they have 5w-30 oil for a change either. Oh wait, they found some oil as a customer never showed up for his oil change. They roared the tires but didnt equalize the pressure nor did they set the dashboard pressure readings so that the front pressures read were now the rear tires! I went to Walmart and got the right tire for less money.

I was told my new vehicles a/c compressor and transaxle both had leaks, so I took it back to the dealership where purchased, no leaks found. Ntb wanted 600 for the repairs. Scam

It I can give it less than 1 star I would. Wentt in for an oil change appt didnt matter. took almost 2 hours even though I had an appt. They also disconnected a part in me engine so I would come back. The codes that were omi g up because of it eould have been over $300 in parts from an autoparts store. obviously there would be make up and would have rediculas labor if it takes 2 hours for an oil change. When confronted about it, the person helping me said he saw it didnt tell me and couldnt fix it because he didnt have a screw driver or wrench at the shop.They also did not put all the screws back in for my skid plate. Only 1 was holding it on when there were initially 6.Be very wary they will try to screw you for as much as thry can get away with.

Ive been coming here for years and the only problem Ive ever had is they didnt happen to have the tires I needed in stock, and thats hardly an actual issue of any importance (they could have ordered them, I just declined it for unrelated reasons).

BS 2 tires free my butt, you pay for 2 tires at 87.00 but then you have to pay 124.00 a wheel for alignment and dispoal fees. After all said its still 600.00 plus.

Overcharges for parts. Any time Ive taken a vehicle there whatever the 1st quote is the parts are the most expensive available. I then call and ask if there are any other brands of those parts and there usually is at least $50cheaper. If you look online the parts will be almost $100 cheaper. No coincidence.

Took air filter out of my car to show it needed replacing during a 2 hour oil change, then afte telling them I had a replacement at home they didnt bother to put it back in, they also left a lugnut removal tool on the floorboard of my car and the manager didnt seem to care about any of this when it was brought to his attention.
