No one likes it when their vehicle breaks down and have to to take it to the shop. in this case, towed to the shop. Ive used Golden Rule before so I knew I would receive great service. I called them and they dispatched a tow truck for me and brought it to the shop. They immediately diagnosed the issue and relieved my stress, as I thought it would be a huge repair. It was only a dead battery and faulty alternator. They told me to give them a couple days because they were extremely busy. I love how they keep you up to speed with text messages letting you know the status of your vehicle as they repair it. After a couple days, my vehicle was ready and it is running well.Not only does Golden Rule do great work, they are very professional and extremely pleasant and really appreciates your business. Even though I hate taking my car to the shop when it starts acting up, Im pleased to take it to someone that is kind, courteous, and professional. Golden Rule has definitely taken care of me through the years and will continue taking my business to them.

Brought the wife’s truck up for a free road worthiness check up before our trip to Colorado. I was expecting all kinds of “you need to’s” and “better do this” type of talk. Nope. Not what I was expecting when they gave us a call and let us know we could handle the maintenance issues when we got back. Took the truck in when we got back and it was done that day, as promised. No upsells, just did what they said needed to be done. Honesty. I’ll pay a premium for that. We will be using Golden Rule going forward.

I came in worried because my check engine light was on and my car was riding ruff and cutting off here and there . I was approached by an older gentleman and I asked for Collin . He directed me around in the most polite way. I parked and went in and Collin was there ! He was really nice and told me the process and that they will take care of me and that’s what they did . I left my car there to get the Diagnostic and I was told I will get a text to come back when it’s done around noon . I received a text to call . I called and Collin told me what it was and that it was a simple thing and that there was no charge because it was so simple and I thanked him , when I went to pick my car everyone was so friendly and nice ! Great honest business to go to ! They live by what they believe in treat everyone how you want to be treated ! You’ll be a fool not to go there and give them your business. First time in my life that I’ve been to a shop like that one . They do have a customer for life ! Thank you Collin and your team .

Excellent service and really thorough. They keep you up to date from start to finish. James was very professional in the office, and I was very impressed by the same day turn around time and transparent pricing. Micah the technician did a solid job on my 2011 Honda Odyssey with 135,000 miles. New Struts, Rear Shocks and Swaybar Links, and a 4 Wheel Alignment. Was able to pay over the phone and they even offer an after-hours lock box for vehicle pick up. Will be going back!

This place is amazing and super professional! I do a lot of my own car repair (because it’s hard to trust some places) but I finally had something that was above my pay grade and had to call a professional. My wife found them on google and was like give them a call, and immediately was impressed!They ran a diagnostic test and sent me the report there was no mystery on what they found or doubt that they were just making stuff up to get some extra business, I had the exact report as well as photos showing me the problems I didn’t know about! I can’t say how much I really appreciate and enjoy a shop that is this professional, direct, and AMAZING! It’s refreshing to know that they aren’t going to tell you “All your lug nuts are swollen and you need to replace them.” No deception and precise diagnosis is a great thing when you are talking about stuff that might total up to a lot of money.

Dissappointed!I have used them several times and been extremely pleased. This time not so.I called @9am to be sure it could be done. I was told it would be completed by early afternoon.They had my vehicle all day and did not call me. I called @330. Then was told they had another job that had delayed my alignment and it would be the next day before they could do it.They should have called me, earlier and not waited for me to call.

Car had a major failure and the guys at Golden Rule located the root cause and helped me understand my options. In the end I decided against repair (new engine needed). The guys at Golden Rule were always friendly and professional. In my case they could see the problem right away and didnt charge for diagnostic or the week in their lot to get it towed away. I have been taking my vehicles to Golden Rule for about 10 years or so. These guys are the best mechanics and customer service that I have ever dealt with when it comes to maintaining my vehicles. They are not the cheapest, but they are the best quality. When they fix it, it is fixed! And if not at first (which is rare) they make it right.Besides the quality of work and service, the one thing that keeps me coming back is that they live up to their name. Being a Christian, when I first walked into the shop 10 or so years ago, I asked them if it was just a catchy name or did they live up to the Golden Rule? They told me that they did their best to live up to the name. So I gave them a shot, and they have remained true to the Golden Rule since that first day I walked in.

I had made an appointment online on a Sunday evening just after hours. They were able to see me the Monday at noon. The professionalism really was apparent in their helping me diagnose the problems I was having . I used a previous visit to them to tell them what I now wanted done to my car. They checked other things they saw that might be needed in the future but were not insistent on getting it done now. My work was completed in a timely manner and a reasonable price. I definitely will use them in the future.

The team was very professional and thorough. I also liked receiving the emails that gave me the status of my automobile. A few day after getting my brakes repaired there I heard some noise. I took it back and the team immediately checked things out. they called me back to do a test drive with them to make sure I was satisfied. They could not replicate the sound and neither could I. I liked the fact they jumped right on it and wanted to do a test drive with me. I will definitely use them again.

Weve used Golden Rule for several vehicles for a number of years. Service and quality of work is outstanding. At my first visit many years ago, I asked them to check the struts on my truck after being told by the local Ford dealership they needed to be replaced. In essence, I gave Golden Rule permission to do a $1,300 repair if needed. they quickly told me my struts were fine, no replacement needed. Thats honesty!!

While visiting my daughter in Texas, my service engine light came on. Being from out of town, I was apprehensive about taking my car to a business I knew nothing about. Golden Rule Auto Care had good reviews so I took a chance. They get 5 stars on quality of service, communication, and the price was less than the quote. Most of all, they were very nice and these days...thats saying a lot. It is great to know there is a place you can rely on to fix your vehicle when you are far from home.

A buddy of mine was having difficulty with his suv starting on a regular basis. He had taken it to 3 other auto mechanics, but none could figure out what was the problem.The Golden Rule mechanics figured it out. It’s been four months and his suv still starts with no problems .I took my car in a month later, and the service advisors were friendly and professional. At the end of the day my car was ready and a shuttle came to my house to pick me up. I asked the driver how long he worked there and he told me about four years as a mechanic too. He said he liked working there because of the respect and care the owners of the establishment have for the workers. I took that to mean that the employees are happy to,come to,work and it shows in there willingness to perform excellent work.So far, I have taken my,2005 Camry in twice and they have fixed both issues. So I am completely satisfied and confident in the work of Golden Rule Auto care.

My wife and I have been looking for a new trustworthy mechanic shop to bring our vehicles to and we found it. Everyone that I worked with was polite and helpful. Their prices may seem slightly higher if youre just calling around to comparison shop but Id urge you to consider using them anyway for the quality of parts and work you will receive for the cost.
