Decent grocery store, lots of off-brand stuff, good prices. Only downside is they lack some of the selection.

Sadly, this store is in rough shape. The produce is almost always on the verge of turning rotten. They havent had hard taco shells in a long time. The associates are good but the manager really should have more pride in their store.

I really wanted to support this store, but Im not going there any more. This store started out good when it opened. It was clean, bright, and well stocked, initially. In the two years since it opened, literally more than half of the stores ceiling lightbulbs have burned out and they havent been fixed, its been this way for months! The store is now dark and gloomy as a result. The store has gotten very dirty over the past year. The entrance doors, front windows, vestibule windows and carpets are filthy! You can draw your name on the filth on the windows. Additionally, Ive found several of their products lack taste. I know it sounds strange but its true. Very bland foods. This store needs a good cleaning! Its too late to get me back, but maybe you can keep others from leaving.

Ive been going here almost exclusively now for two months. The transition to bagging my own groceries was the biggest change, Id say. Once I let go of my loyalties to brand names, Im saving at least 60-80 dollars each time I shop, usually twice a week. My only suggestion would be to carry a wider selection of flavored creamers, and thats only because I like a variety. Friendly staff, amazing prices, this is our new grocery store!

Well, be prudent if the not-so-smart employees, realize that when a customer takes the items outta a small cart at the register, then proceeds to put that SMALL cart into the larger cart, at the front of the register, that the groceries are to be put into the small cart. Its not rocket science morons. The food is priced the same as Aldis stores, and concentrates primarily on frozen & canned products. The chicken is okay, but Id advise not buying the red meats. The vast majority of foods is frozen, then thawed, and displayed on shelves. Convenient for those in the neighborhood, but youd save money & receive better products at Aldis or Walmart.

Save-A-Lot makes me feel like I walked into a mom and pop corner grocery store. Prices are great. The isles are comfortable for passing customers. Clean and neat. Personal are welcoming and very helpful. Love the meat and dairy. Whether getting a month worth of groceries or a quick trip, Save-A-Lot is the place to shop.

Always good prices hardly ever a line, meats are pretty good most times, the store is much too cold in the winter times due to the perimeter of the store is all coolers the front is all glass and there is no blower heater at the entrance. The cashier was a very pleasant and helpful young woman who also complained of the temperature inside the store.

I stopped in to pick up a last minute watermelon. While searching for said watermelon, I could not help but notice how fresh the fruits and produce were! The prices were exceptional! Im going to add this store to my grocery shopping!

Its small enough to make a shopping trip quick and uncomplicated. If you like many options for one product, this isnt your store. If you like to get in, get out, and get on with life, this is a great place. Extremely affordable as well and good quality most of the time.

Save-A-Lot is quite similar to Aldi, so expect to bring your own bags or use any empty cardboard boxes or cases to assist carrying out your groceries. There are bags you can buy that are plastic and cheap or reusable and decently durable. I havent experienced anything bad at the store, at least nothing that would warrant a negative review. You just have to keep an open mind about the products that are mainly sold because theyre not common off-brand groceries. However some are surprisingly good and a great budget substitute to expensive name branded goods. The four star rating isnt the stores fault, but it can affect your shopping experience: the customers. Ive met some fine examples of humanity. Nothing specific, but just be prepared to get an awkward experience with the people that dont work there. The employees are great. Theyre typically looking to make sure they got you covered.

Went in to get a couple of things, ended up with half a cart. Loved the prices , staff was very friendly.

Food selection was basic, but there were some good deals, much as you would expect from a discount grocer. The cashier was really friendly and helpful.

Staff are friendly and courteous. Best prices on meats most of the time but do watch out for refrozen meats. Freezer burn is no good for anyone and usually means that the meat has been recycled too many times and they cant sell it.

I absolutely love this store. Need to pay more attention to the produce section. My background is dietary in hospital and nursing homes. Today your tomato had one that was completely rotten. This section needs someone to check before store opens. The bins should be pulled daily and replaced with a clean crate. You would be better off by packaging like your meat products. Having staff that has taken food handlers course will also help. Need help text me.

They have reasonable prices on most items. I have specific things I shop there for and never had a problem with the food. Organizan and other items could be improved.

I shop here enough they tend run out of meats, and sale items quickly, nice friendly staff. Just need to keep sale items stocked and more meats available!

Awesome sales! This particular visit I was able to load up on boneless Rib Eye Steaks for $4.99/lb there were excellent to boot.

My visit was pretty good got my apples and sugar free ice cream but they did not have sugar free ginger ale. Well have to run to Wal-Mart.

Unbelievable prices, jaw dropping at times. They have items that have prices from the late 70s. I just bought 1 dozen eggs for 0.59 cents this week. T-bone steaks for 4.99/lb, cmon people, thats a bargain. Although its not all fancy expensive brands, for the person thats into getting quality foods for a very reasonable price, go here.For those that want that Black Angus T-bone for 12.99/lb or more and a dozen eggs for 2.39/doz or more, just go down the road to Price Chopper, doctor!

Always like to make this my first stop on shopping day. The meats I have purchased have always been good and feel I get more for the dollar on many of their other goods also.
