Very nice down home grocery store packed full of every item any big chain grocery sells. If you need just a gallon of milk or a months supply of food for the deep freeze. Shannon grocery is the place to shop.Along with groceries they are also a certified cellular phone dealership, that includes the purchase and activation of Verizon phones & other services. It is very small but efficient. They carry name brand groceries like Mayfield, Kraft, Jolly Green Giant. Good selection of sandwich bread and chips. Surprisingly, they have a cell phone counter that sell used & unlocked phones for about 1/3 the price compared to new. Nice staff. Only grocery store in Shannon.

We shop at shannon grocery everyday of the week for the last 5 years and the staff is amazing the owner we have respect for I returned some steak that I didnt like and every since the owner hasnt been very happy on my family and myself which could be settled if he had respect. For his loyal family customers. love the man to death just disappointed I reccomend this grocery store to everyone it is a family owned and very respectful company

Good place to buy meat. You can always come across something to throw on the grill at a deal! Something else, if your in need of last minute or anytime, a state license to legally hunt or fish you can purchase both in store.

Would give it a zero but it wont let me. No salad mix, chicken sausage, or anything else I was looking for. Its not a real grocery store. I got Fritos, but I could have got that at the gas station. Dont waste your time.

Absolutely LOVE the ladies at Shannon Grocery! They make you feel like family!Good prices on fresh meat but most things are a little over priced. Still beats driving back and forth to Rome.

Today (12/19/2017) a very good friend of mine who is a Gulf War Veteran with PTSD and has a certified service dog went to the Shannon Grocery and was told by the owner that he had to leave because he had his service dog with him in the store. Not only is that discrimination but it is also against the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)law. Now not only did he lose him and his girlfriend as a customer but also lost my wife and myself as a customer that will never do business there again.

I no longer do business with Shannon Grocery! They lost my business over a $1.69 cricket container that he insisted that I buy to put crickets in that I was buying from Him!

I bought my son a phone and paid $400 for it, which it never worked correct! So we took the phone back and the guy who works up there shipped it off to be fixed which took over two weeks. That cost an extra $80 which I didnt have to pay for but when we finally got the phone back it was still was messed up just like it was when we first bought it. The Man up there only gave my son and I $100 back for the phone which cost us over $400 after taxes. They dont mind screwing people over. Then my son bought the wrong Straight Talk phone card for me, he got the $30 instead of the $45, I sent him back for a refund and they only refunded me exactly $30. It almost cost me $35 for the card with fees and taxes. They rip people off royally!

They refused service to a gulf war veteran because they had a service dog...which he wasnt allowed to bring in the store. This is illegal and a suit has been filed. It saddens me to see what this world is coming too...they will have to answer to the Lord someday. Would not recommend this unpatriotic store...in Rome, GA

Dont ever take cell phoes there to have them work on I took two there an lucky told me they would be done in a week that was 5 months ago an still no cell phones back so 3 weeks ago I ask the ladys that work there to ask him to call me because I never get in there when he there an still no call so I guess 600 dollars in cell phone are just gone because everytime I ask about it I never hear back and everytime Im told that he going to be there he never there something come up so if u need a phone fix fine somewhere else do t not do like I did u want have a phone

Friendly service but no public restrooms...

If you have a service animal when you go in here they will ask you to leave. Just had a friend and her husband go their today and they where told to leave. Her husband is a vet and has ptsd and has a service dog. The owner told them to leave. The wife showed the proper paper work and they didnt care still told them to go. So the police had to get involved. Sad day when someone who has served his country cant even go into a store with his service dog. If Im ever around this place I for Damn sure wont spend my money in here.
