I would give this 5 stars but since they newly remodeled their produce is half of what it used to be and not as good.This was the only place in town I would buy produce.... now they hardly carry anything and the things they do have are not that great in quality

I like Food Lion. A real grocery store. Great weekly specials, excellent meat and produce. Quick to get in, get everything on your list and get checked out.

First time in this store. Prices were comparable to where I usually shop and the staff as well as customers seemed quite friendly and laid back. Was a nice shopping experience, even if just running in for a few coca colas.

It was good. Had alot of good sales and had at least 3 registers open so therefore the lines was not backed up. My cashier was very nice and friendly

My favorite local grocery store!

I was bombed when I found out that Rome did not have an Ingles, but Food Lion is a comparable replacement. I love this store. It very much reminds me of the old school supermarkets. The meat is fresh, the produce is some of the best that Ive had in a while and the prices are pretty good as well. The customer service is excellent and the lines are never long. Overall, great location.

Food Lion is the best grocery store to shop at. They combine small town friendliness with larger grocery store offerings. Prices are also comparable or cheaper. Food freshness and quality is always good, including produce, meats and even their store brands. The employees are very helpful and the store is always clean.

Cashier very sweet and nice. Guy in meat dept heavy set white guy. Very very rude im from south Ga up her visting my eldery parents. Rang bell asked about a bag of wings. He was very rude said anit none. Wenr back in back before i could ask him about cutting the ones i had.

A bit too pricey but overall clean. They tend to run low on things but I expect that with ckvid at no fault to them.Edit: They are updating a lot which was much needed so I dont mind pricing but majority of the people work there definitely act like they are miserable and speak robotically if they even acknowledge you.

Food Lion is a good store to shop at for convenience but if you want good prices you need to go anywhere else but food Lion

Open late, cheap prices, and close to my house. Seems like they have a lot of young teenagers working and while you are checking out they will conversate among themselves which is rude, but besides that its a good clean store.

Good selection of food items. I was wearing a mask. Employees I saw were wearing masks, but some down below the nose. Asked one employee for help finding an item, they backed up a few steps from me and acted like they were afraid of me. This employees mask was below the nose.

I have been a Kroger shopper since moving here, even though I live a 1/2 mile from Food Lion.I started going to Food Lion late last year for sales. Then Kroger started raising prices dramatically.So I started going more to Food Lion. The staff and manager are fantastic. They are friendly, helpful, and always say hi to everyone.I am saving money going to Food Lion and I am helping my local community population by shopping there.Plus I still get My Gas Points from Kroger by purchasing gift cards from there for places I shop at.

Was ok. Got what i needed. Ran out of berried cranberry sauce. They had plenty of jellied type tho

Food Lion is a mess. It is looking a bit run-down and old and the cashiers could use a lesson in how to pay attention to the customer in front of them and not the customer who is their friend two aisles away.The last time I was in there the cashier was having a very animated talk with her another Food Lion employee who was standing at the end of my bagging area and when I tried to get my cashiers attention to tell her I was splitting my purchase into separate orders, one for my neighbor and one for myself, she became very rude and told me Just a minute and returned to talking to her friend. I tried again to tell her and she just glanced my way and blatantly ignored me.She kept ringing up everything and it came out to over $200. I kept telling her I wanted it split, she kept ignoring me and talking to her friend, and finally, at the end she all of a sudden heard me say I wanted the order split. She rudely said that I could have told her earlier and that it was her break time and there was too much for her to re-ring. She closed her register up after voiding my purchase and just walked away.I stood there in shock as she walked away.I went to find the manager, but it seems the manager or assistant manager or whoever it was that was in charge was also on break. I assume this so-called manager was the person my cashier was talking with because they both disappeared at the same time.That was a year ago. Needless to say, I have not been back to Food Lion since.

I totally grew up in the south so i am intimately familiar with Food Lion. All that said - i have always been more of a Winn Dixie kinda guys. Why? Reasons. This store wasnt bad though.

They have one or two employees its very personable but for the most part theyre rather snobby and since Piggly wiggly closed their prices have skyrocketed since they know they can cheat the community that supports them

They are awesome I called to see if they had toilet paper because all of the stores that ran out and they definitely had it and when I got there they were very kind to me and I was even able to get hand sanitizer and Imodium AD so yes its a great place to go.

There are not that many options. If you are vegan dont even bother coming here. The only thing you will find is soy and almond milk and that is it. Overall, it lack options.

This store is clean, well-stocked, friendly staff and affordable. The morning I was there the store was giving away slightly wilted flowers instead of throwing them out. I got a beautiful bouquet to brighten my home. Great store!

Everything is easy to find. Stuff is where is was 6 years ago. No, constant changes of location of merchandise, unlike other competitors. This makes it easy on my bad arthritic knees. Would rate 5 stars, however the store tends to be pricy.

This is a good size supermarket with everything you might need. It has good sales, great selection including very good produce and friendly workers. I find myself going here more and more over other grocery stores, especially since I have found some things that they carry that no one else does. Try their bakery items or the Food Lion brand just about anything.

I had a great shopping experience at food lion today. All of the staff that I encountered were very friendly and they had everything that I needed. Even the other customers were smiling and friendly. What a pleasant surprise! I found everything I needed to make salmon bagels with cream cheese and capers, one of my sisters favorite brunch recipes :)

I was treated so rudely! Went to line 6 checked out by cashier 0131. She was so rude to me I stood there for 15mins with her looking right at me and then go back to what she was doing then when she finally came over she was so rude. I guess because I was making her work she basically threw my money and receipt at me. Yall need to teach customer service skills.

Overall this grocery store packs a lot of products. I personally like it because I can shop and get just about everything on my grocery list, and get out the door quick. I just wish the overall prices were cheaper. They do have a lot of good specials, but I think people would do more complete grocery shopping here if prices were consistently lower.

Food Lion, Cheerwine and me. Were all from Salisbury, N.C.. But, alas, I have to drive to Rome to get Cheerwine because Food Lion doesnt carry it. Hence, the missing star.Everything else is good: prices, selection, freshness and staff. They have a great loyalty program.
