My friends and I were on our way to Atlanta on a road trip about two hours from home, the gentlemen there helped us the best they could so close to close as my alternator had died. They let us stay to figure out a ride and were reasonable with prices. The next day my car was waiting outside and the man working the counter had my keys out for me as I walked up! Very helpful patient staff I appreciate all their help!

Fast work, good work, affordable work. What else can you ask for? Would definitely recommend calling and setting a appointment, took me maybe 30 seconds. All of the staff are awesome, and the wait isnt bad at all if you stay with your vehicle while they work. I appreciate the free inspection because my car is an older shitbox that Im trying to fix asap. Will definitely be back next weekend for the tires. Thank you guys!

Not only will he let you know ahead of time if you need something done we will also go above and beyond to make sure that its done. Where did that means going out of his way to make sure the parts come in on time or ahead of schedule or staying a little bit later to make sure that everything in your car operate smoothly. It is rare that you find someone who loves what they do and who is honest about how they treat their customers over profits. Great place for an oil change or any basic car maintenance. Last time, they messed up my transmission flush service, but they eventually made it right... my car has never driven better. I would leave 5 stars but my wheel nut lock didnt make it back into my car last time. There was a lot going on, though.

My family and I had to come to Rome Ga from SC for 2 funerals all in 1 day. During the stress of all that I got a flat tire. We went to Good year to have the tire patched hopefully. They were able to patch it so we could make it back home, since no one had the tire I needed. They didn’t charge a thing for the patch. I though it was very kind. A sad day for us turned out to show us there are still kind people in the world. Thank you Goodyear for your kindness.

The manager Mr. Daniel Barnes really took care of me. A regular mechanic could have charged me an arm and a leg because of wheel cylinders going bad right after a brake change (the right the same day, the left two weeks later). As a female who doesnt have a regular mechanic in Rome, Ga, I am grateful that Goodyear didnt take advantage of me. Im so grateful to Mr. Daniel and his team for taking care of everything. Side note: I also enjoy the free coffee and good company of the employees here.

Daniel Barns the store manager is for sure the best manager this place has had in a long time.the main auto Machanice is a blessing to work with. Daniel was willing to fix my work truck that I had at courtesy Ford of Rome for 10 weeks. The ford dealership did nothing and charged me. Good year diagnosed the issue and fixed it in a timely manor. Can’t say how grateful I am as a business owner to see other companies especially chain companies who actually care. You guys keep the good work going. Be encouraged.

The staff and manger here do a wonderful job. The kept me up to date with the progress of the work done on my car. The work that was done (strut replacements, alignment, AC system check, tire rotation), was done exceedingly well and much faster than I anticipated. 10/10 would recommend.

Went here because I knew other years dealing with Goodyear has been good but its still pricey here the gentlemen did help with the cost of things but its still a little high after getting my powerstering all replaced the belt the line yesterday I spent over 300$ getting that fixed then another 200 to replace the power steering pump today they are so far good at what they do but would not recommend on a budget after dealing with them for 2 days everything has been fixed so far they gave me a two year warranty on the system and told me to come back if I had any problems I appreciated the time and work they did but would not recommend to friends being pricey also over heard a older gentleman that had came in and was looking for 2 replacement tires for his trailer and wanted to charge him over 300$ to replace them I feel like they want money more than anything and I felt bad for him because thats ridiculous I paid over 200 for just labor on the parts so out of 500 half 250 was labor for me would not recommend and I would recommend finding someone that you trust to do it and to make sure you know them check around Rome for better options like I said I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE $$$$ FOR IT I GAVE 3 STARS BECAUSE after 3 times they fixed my problems but also problems were made prior to fixing the problem

Always honest and not trying to upsale unnecessarily

Service manager was extremely helpful, wish I remembered his name. Anyhow, we were heading to Nashville after getting a tire checked out. Tire was repairable and they did not just tell us to buy a new one. They fixed it and let us know the license plate lights were out. Cost 12$ to fix a tire, light up the plate, and get us on our way for the Eclipse.

They are liars & cant be trusted. Theyll sell you new front brakes, and tell u the back brakes are fine. Over 10 years I must have warn out several sets of tires from them.. Me begging them to change them. They refused service on them. Id be back in a year and a half. Theyd do it again. I finally went to someone else. They changed all four brakes. Bought a new set of Michelin Tires. They lasted six years. The front brakes doing all the work, the back brakes not working. All that pressure going towards the front. Wearing my tires out because of those cheap factory brakes in the back. Them refusing my requested service on them, caused me to spend more money keeping their cash register ringing. They lied to me, played me. They will lie to you too. They or to be sued.

Rude and smart remarks both times I reserved a reservation for oil change. In June I was told I signed up for vehicle inspection when I know for a fact oil change then the elderly gentleman stated well I dont know if we have time for it. I kindly stated I will just take my business else where. I decided a few more months to give it a try again, made my reservation online for oil change at 5 pm elderly gentleman stated I made it for 5 am and I forgot to mention he rolled his eyes at me as I approached the counter. I kindly showed him my confirmation email for 5 p.m. that day and he huffed and said well the site for Goodyear is overseas and I dont know if we have time for it today. I stated well I dont see anything in fine print about Foreign customer online services and I will pick my car up when its ready. Meanwhile a regular customer came to the door and he lit up and ignored me while breaking his neck to joke with him. I left my vehicle because I was in desperate need for oil change 45 mins later he called and stated it was done. I dont know if it was a race or gender issue but I definitely didnt appreciate the hostility and rude customer service and I dont recommend the Shorter Rome,Ga location for car care needs.

I bought goodyear tires for my Chevy corvette & they were suppose to exchange my stems with the new tires & somehow after I got my vette back, my tire leaked air. after taking my tire to another specialist I was informed that a grinder had been used ON MY RIM. I said something abt the situation to goodyear & they were rude. No customer appreciation. I wouldnt recommend anyone take their vehicle to these people!

Asked them to leave my oil a little low, so I could add Lucas oil additive. Millenial service tech (has the memory of a turnip) did not, so I brought it back and another tech made it right.

Felt like they did too much up selling. Went in for 4 new cheap tires... Left owing nearly 600 for tires, install, 3 year alignment program, and oil change...

Always a ripoff. Make sure you get a second opinion/quote from someone you trust before letting them do anything other than maybe an oil change!

Went in to get my alignment fixed and they told me that I had to get my tie rods replaced, had them replace them and my alignment, I got my car back and my tires rattle, the alignment was not done and my CV joints are busted
