We’ve taken our cars here since I first visited Al, he’s always been consistently helpful, done in depth & great work, and at great prices. It’s refreshing to have a trustworthy and reliable mechanic. I will continue to recommend Al & this shop to anyone who needs to work done and will not take my car anywhere else.

We love working with Al at A and P auto repair. He knows our vehicles which helps immensely due to their age. Trying to avoid car payments so it’s important to have a place to take our vehicles for reasonable and honest repairs!!

I ran in a situation this afternoon to where my vehicle was making a very strange sound when I got into rome not knowing the area I pulled into this garage and asked for the gentlemans help without hesitation him and his two daughters took my vehicle in and fix the problem without an appt. I am forever grateful for their help and gratitude.... I will always recommend these guys to anyone in that area.... Thanks agian you guys your the best!!!!

My car needed a tow and was brought to AP Auto repair. The following day, I stopped at the location to check on my car and Al indicated that he was unaware of my car being at his location, as the tow service left him no notice. We walked the property and found my car on the side of the garage, unlocked and the keys were found in the garage drop box. I told Al there was no rush on the repair of the car, and he did take his time sending an estimate, several days later. Once he did so, within less than 24 hours, he was calling requesting to repair the car. Once repaired we agreed that I wanted to have only the spare put on, as the car was due for new tires, I had already purchased. When I went to pick up the car, he shared that there is a 4% charge for a debit/card, so I paid with a check, he cashed the following day. Upon replacing the new tires, we found the spare tire to have been crossed threaded. I called and left two messages with no reply. A friend attempted to remove the lug nuts and as expected, two wheel stems broke off. At this point, there was no need to follow up as he hadnt return my previous calls. I then had to pay to have the car repaired due to his garages error. I would not recommend this garage to anyone.
