Entire experience was great! The eye doctor and her assistant were both very welcoming and extremely nice.Mr. Lindsay was phenomenal!!! He helped me tremendously with finding and selecting my new glasses and sunglasses. He also has the patience of a saint! ☺ This was truly the best experience Ive ever had... and considering Ive been wearing glasses for the 35 years... it says a lot ☺

Renee was awesome. She hung with us through my wife and my marathon as we pretty much tried on every eyeglass frame they offer. She offered great advice and guidance through the whole process. She made our experience a great one!

The folks here were great. Professional, efficient, personable and very good at what they do. My daughter and I were impressed and definitely highly recommend them. At least in our case, the cost was happily lower than expected as they had a variety of frames and prices.

Last night my daughter broke her glasses. I called the business where I purchase them however they were closed. I called Americas Best and the lady who answered the phone recommended LensCrafters at Valley View.I took the glasses in and was greeted by friendly staff members. No wait time. They told me I could wait or come back in about 30 mins. I was back in 20 and the glasses were repaired FREE OF CHARGE. Highly Recommend this business.❤❤❤❤

This place worked out great. From a different state and they were able to get the prescriptions filled pretty fast.

When we arrived, there was only one other customer in the store. We were greeted immediately, and our associate was friendly, efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, polite, helpful, patient, and kind. It became very busy while we were there, but that never changed the level of customer service that we received. We had a wonderful experience.

I was vacationing in VA from WA when I lost my glasses in Smith Mountain Lake. I called the LensCrafters store in Roanoke and Elizabeth said they could help me same day. We reached the store 90 minutes later at 4:20pm, and Lindsay fitted me with new frames, and made it clear that this store provides fantastic customer service. Less than an hour later I walked out seeing clearly through my new glasses. I give this LensCrafters my highest recommendation!

I purchased a pair of glasses and I hated them a lot. I took them back and explained to them how I didnt like them a lot and there was no return shaming. They told me that they would be glad to help me pick out a pair and in the end I walked out with a smile on my face knowing I made the best decision for me. I really appreciated all their help.

I had an awesome experience getting my new glasses. Had gone to two other places before landing here. Was greeted immediately upon entering and staff was helpful but didnt smother me, which I appreciated. Their process seemed more high tech (to reduce errors) than the other places. Ordered my glasses on Friday and got a text the following Thursday indicating they were ready. They also seem to have a good process during the pandemic, as I felt safe during my visit. I also noted they seem to have all the lastest styles and a larger selection then the other places I visited. I would recommend.

I want to give kudos to Carol Benson. We took my Dads glasses in today to have a broken nose pad fixed. It was one that was in a full piece. Carol went above and beyond trying to find one that would fit since they dont make the one he had anymore. I cant say enough good things to say how much I appreciate her great customer service. If you want awesome customer service then go see the folks at the Valley View LensCrafters.

Was told that I would get $100 mail in rebate with the purchase of my contacts. Associate stated that information would come in the box with the contacts and call if there was an issue. There was no information in box. When I called they stated that the rebate was applied to contacts already and the policy had changed about a month ago to already apply the rebate upon purchase. There was no evidence of rebate being applied. When asked why I was told I would receive an additional rebate associate stated that that was the training she received. So basically they are stating you will get money back when in fact you don’t! I would have saved close to the $100 off if I had bought them online.

First it was talking around me, then its if you come, we can use your existing glasses to get a prescription since the doctor here is closed out of business.... More I cants and questions than the DMV.

Elizabeth has always adjusted my glasses with the greatest care and looks for minor details of the adjustment. She also has a great eye for any issues which may be going on with my frame or lenses. Lens Crafters in Roanoke has been my choice for the care of my glasses. They have a variety of choices to choose from. A great awesome team who cares for their customers.

Don’t bother wasting your time and money here. The people are extremely slow. They only have 1 person working. I will be getting my refund and finding a better place to get glasses.

I had a wonderful experience there last week. jassi was extremely helpful and professional. i’ve been waiting for my glasses all week as my current prescription is bad and i can hardly see. i get a call today saying that their lab actually screwed it up & it doesn’t pass their inspection and that they have to send it out AGAIN for me to probably wait an entire week again! i was told they can’t even rush it despite the fact that it’s the labs fault in the first place. for the amount of money i spent there this shouldn’t happen. honestly i’m so annoyed at this point i may even just get a refund and say screw it and go somewhere cheaper. i was really excited & happy to actually be able to see again. not worth the money or the hassle but if you do go ask for jassi.. she is wonderful!!

Nice people, I love the way the machine reads your face to measure it to make sure they have your bifocals or trifocals right in the glasses.Of course as I have trifocals they do have to order my glasses. I knew they could not make them on site. But I did expect it that.

Went into the store this past Sunday. They only had one person working in the front. The lady asked why I was there and said I’d have to wait since she was handing the customers in order. Waited about 30-45 min and two customers came in after me and they were helped before me. After she acknowledged the 2nd customer I got up and left. Why wouldn’t there be more personnel working on a weekend? This is not how you get and keep customers! Worst customer service!

When I speak to an optician, I would expect them to have a proper knowledge of optics. Not at this place. If youre looking for good quality progressive lenses, they do not offer them. Their selection is limited to a couple of Essilor products and their own house brand. I cannot get Kodak Digital Free Form lenses, Seiko lenses, Shamir lenses, etc. So, I got a quote anyway and then compared it to other optical shops in the area, $400 or more higher. A ripoff. That you so much! RP, PhD (yes I know what Im talking about).

My girlfriend came looking for some glasses. A guy salesman named Lindsay, or Lindsey, however you spell it, greeted my girlfriend but he had more on his mind than selling her glasses. He was kind of creepy, also disrespectful. When I showed up, he called me *buddy and *bud every other word, as an attempt to seem better than me. Weird guy and rude sales people... The lindsay guy I am pretty sure his full name is Lindsay Blankenship... anyway, He was a guy named Lindsay

NOT GOOD. I broke my glasses under warranty. Left them at the Valley View Store over a month ago. Only one call to notify me that they were not back but I could call and check any time. So I called AGAIN-was told Oh, theyve been back since June 26th-today is JULY 29th. I asked what time they close as I work late. I was told 9pm. I left work early and got to LensCrafters at 8:52 pm. The lights were on and an employee standing there but the door was locked. This is not just an inconvenience, Im nearly blind and have been using a very old prescription and have had some pretty nasty vision headaches without the newest prescription. How come they can lock the door yet have no time to call me and let me know my glasses were ready for pick-up? Just another example of a big business that has lost its original message and goal: the trust & satisfaction of its customers. I guess my > $500.00 cash transaction meant very little. Lesson Learned: LensCrafters will not have to worry after I pick my glasses up whether I satisfied again. Ill take my $500.00 & go elsewhere.

Rather over priced, small selection, no longer accepts walk-ins even in the case of rather emergent situation. (someone who cant see without correction) Not particularly friendly staff. No longer can make Ray Bans in an hour, either. Totally wasted three hour trip today.
