Ive been going here since 2017. One of the few ranges I go to. The range fees are lower than all the other ranges Ive been to. The staff is usually pretty helpful, but Ive dealt with a couple standoffish employees over the last 4 years. Lanes are a little small and it can get pretty cramped. Just know that you might get kicked out if you shoot too much ammo, too fast on a busy Saturday (has happened once to me and they waived the fees so that was cool). Overall its a cool hole in the wall range with a decent gun selection too. Definitely worth trying out and a pretty smooth experience. I took my CC class here too and the lady was awesome.Edit: changing to 5 stars from 4. Bought a really cool derringer here for a good price. They also have lower prices on their pistols than Ive seen at any other gun store at the current time of July 2021 so that in itself deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately I broke 2 springs on my UDP-9 at my last session but still had a fun time mag dumping my glock

I must say I was more than impressed with my experience at Eagle 1. When I got to the store, even though they were busy a young man named Sam and I believe Barry were able to assist me looking at a few different products before my purchase. The store had great prices and a good inventory. Didnt get a chance ro try the range but would recommend store.

This place here is legit ! Feels like you’re right at home, everybody is willing to answer questions! Got a great deal on two guns! I’m definitely a forever shopper here !

After trying to reach out to someone about my problem, I have to leave 1-star. I live an hour and a half away from this establishment. I found out that they were getting a gun that I wanted and was told that I could order it over the phone and come pick it up because it tends to sell out quickly. So, I called on the day that the shipment came in. I was very specific with the lady on the phone about the gun that I wanted. She told me that it was there and I made the order over the phone. The next day when I drive an hour and a half to pick it up, it’s not the gun I asked for. I was told I couldn’t get a return, so I was stuck with a gun that I did not want and the gun was definitely not cheap. That’s on top of me wasting gas and time. I looked up their contact info on the website to reach out to someone via email to try and rectify this, but it’s been 2 weeks and still no response. So now I am here leaving a 1-star review

I went in for a holster for a specific gun at home & when I told them the type of gun, both questioned me again if I’m right about my gun, asking me when did I purchase it because they’re hard to find right now. I felt as though they were looking at my size & gender to determine that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I’ve loved the range service but their in store sales service is piss poor. Will go back to the competitor where I’ve purchased all of my guns 30 mins away.

Eagle 1 was amazing! The staff was the best part of the experience! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all, they care about you! I will be returning to this range just because of how great the service was! The staff will provide you with targets and protective equipment and the prices are very reasonable! The range is great! It feels comfortable and private. Weather you are a new shooter or a professional looking to improve upon your skill before qualification day, Eagle 1 has you covered. I was able to safely observe my new shooters trigger control, grip, stance and follow through in the same lane! This allowed for my shooter to get on target quickly and stress free! We visited Eagle 1 for the first time yesterday and purchased a new Sig Sauer pistol. Their price was the lowest of the local gun dealers we researched. The staff was very courteous and helpful in completing the paperwork and sale. We also signed up as range members. Their hourly range fee is less than half the going rate. As seniors, we appreciated the consideration of not being rushed through the process.

100% recommend for recreational shooters of all levels. Working with the staff is always both fun and informative. Each staff member that Ive experienced has had a great attitude and knowledge base to answer all questions and address all concerns about firearms I own and firearms Im interested in purchasing from the shop.

Incredibly professional service team that quickly assisted me with a transfer and guided me through all applicable paperwork. I would highly recommend their service and people to anyone with the need. While waiting on the paperwork to be completed, I noticed how quickly and efficiently they worked through a crowd of people for the range as well. My mother went to buy a Sig Sauer P365 today and received the best service! The woman behind the counter was knowledgeable and got my mom exactly what she needed. We even signed up for memberships with the gun range! She is super happy with her purchase and we will be back for accessories.

Super friendly. The only local gun shop Ive been in where youre greeted as soon as you walk in. They were busy but still got to me quickly. Purchased a Mossberg 88 and am eager to bring the family to try out their range. So glad I found them. Was about to give up on finding a shop I liked.

My husband and I have had a great experience at eagle 1. Friendly staff. We have shot at other ranges but felt more comfortable with the folks at eagle1. They are down to earth and willing to take time answering our questions. We go twice a week since finding them. Now they greet us by name and ask about our kids. Refreshing.

I just moved up from Florida and have been looking for a good local gun shop and range. Stopped by today to get a holster for a new gun I have been intending to switch to as my edc. Place was clean, well organized, and well stocked. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and upbeat. I registered to take a ccw class while there to switch my permit from FL to NC. Itll definitely become my go to store and range.

Been a while since Id been here. Stopped in when the another store did not have what I was looking for. Eagle-1 had exactly what I wanted (sheer luck actually). They were friendly, the firearm had a fair price, and it was probably the quickest Id ever purchased a handgun. I felt very comfortable the entire time. All paperwork was handled efficiently and they went out of their way to make it uncomplicated.

I Went in to Eagle 1 just to try out a new addition to the gun safe and the staff both Sam and Barry were very helpful, upbeat and personable. I will definitely be coming back here next time I need some range time! Thanks yall!

Thoroughly impressed with the staff and the range at Eagle 1 here in Raleigh. Have been about 10 times now, and have not had a single complaint. I have been paying $10/hour to shoot which is a very fair price in my opinion. This past time my friend and I went, one of the staff members, Sam was very helpful in showing him the various .22 rifles that they carried. My friend ended up buying one that he was really happy with, and Sam made sure to come out to our lane and check that it was working properly and that he was satisfied with it.

Just got back into shooting. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are great, and I can always get a lane whenever I visit. My only issue is I would like to have distance markers somewhere for reference.

Perry and Sam have made me feel very welcome at Eagle 1. They patiently answer my questions with respect. Havent been back in a while, last time I came I had someones lead ricocheting back and hitting me in the leg, also ventilation could be better. Always left with the taste of gunpowder in my throat.

Great place to sharpen skills. I have used this facility for several years; qualifying students as well as personal use. My son and I went today and spent an hour on the range. Customer service was excellent. Well stock facility. Prices very reasonable. Talked to one gentleman about new sights and he was very helpful and knew what I was looking for. I would have given five stars. The only item was no distance marking on the range. Other than that very cool shop. Will return.

Stopped by today and asked Rico, who Ive dealt with before, for some assistance on a Banshee M47 and a Ruger SR9e. He was very knowledgeable about the inner workings of the Banshee, despite not owning one hisself and knew just how the pieces needed to go inside, as well as was able to listen to the Ruger to identify exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. Cant get that kind of help from just anywhere; and thats exactly why I keep going there.

The staff here at Eagle 1 are very friendly & they have amazing customer service. The prices are amazing & they offer a wide variety of guns. If you don’t go to Eagle 1, you are truly missing out!

Very nice place to shoot. Purchased a brand new Sig Sauer p320 compact a few days back and needed somewhere to shoot. Very easy signup and safety test for range. Believe it’s 10 bucks an hour. Brought my own range allowed ammunition. Will be back soon. No Head shots Allowed

Word of mouth is the best reference you can get from a fellow gun owner when it comes to gun shopping and gun ranges. EAGLE 1 is only as good as the people who run it so with that being said I highly recommend Eagle 1. The customer service is good and the prices are better compared to surrounding gun stores. The only hiccup is that parking can be limited at times on the weekend because everyone goes to the gun range on the weekend.

Employees were super friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time visiting (midday on a Tuesday) and there werent any lines etc. They have a great selection of guns, holsters, classes etc. I forgot my Ruger SR9c at the house so I shot with their CZ-P10 C which was super fun! Clean store, nice lobby music, and decent prices. They also have an outdoor range for rifles, shotguns etc.Edit: 11.6.2017 (10th time here) brought my Ruger SR9-C with me today to throw some lead down range. Employees are always friendly and ready to answer any questions you have. Picking up a Mossy 500 Stand-Off from Eagle 1 in two days!! Can’t wait! AMAZING PRICES ON EVERYTHING!!

Good range to shoot at. It is small and tends to book up fast. We finally bought the family pass simply to avoid wasting time waiting. Lines are a bit cramped but...its a range. Rates are decent.

Been coming here for a while and walk in at 7:59 and they wouldn’t give me a lane. It’s terrible when you try to support a black business and they break their own rules. Not going to recommend this place to anyone. Disappointed.

Trash selection of products (even before the pandemic), ghetto gun range, unfriendly staff. Every time I go in here I get a really unwelcome vibe from the employees. I remember one person even said one of the staff tried to fight a customer. Ever since Onpoint opened up near by Ive been going there to shoot, please go check them out! Carolina Gunrunners is also another favorite, super knowledgeable and friendly staff over there! This is the closest gun store/range near me but I literally go out of my way to not shop here.

Small store with good people. That said the range has kicked back lead fragments and I had to dig a piece of lead out of my forehead with tweezers. It was a one off thing, but the staff said that this is not uncommon. Love the location, but I probably wont use the range again.

I came with a group of 3 on a packed Sunday and we were still able to get into the indoor range within one hour. Despite it not being their normal procedure for a weekend, an agent came and showed us how to use a gun and shoot. He was very informative and helpful. We all left confident about what we learned and planning our trip to return! I cannot wait to attend some classes and learn more! Great first experience!

Worked with Ebony on some basic gun safety and firing pointers. She was thorough and kept things simple and straight forward. Ebony also had great pointers on firing stance, aiming with the sights and relaxing those shoulders! She went over ammo jamming situations and how they occur, also how to prevent them from happening. Range safety was very good and I had a really good overall experience. It got a little busy in there at one point but everyone was professional and calm. Looking forward to returning!

Fantastic facility! Ebony is an amazing salesperson and teacher that is knowledgeable about weapons and the benefits of each of them. Eagle 1 has some of the best people! Mr.Perry was very knowledgeable in every questions I asked since I am a beginner. The store was very organized and clean. Aside from Mr.Perry the rest of the team that was there was very nice too. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Just picked up a Kel Tec Sub 2000 from Eagle 1. Customer service was great and always has been. Staff was very helpful. The sell was flawless with no complications. A very satisfied customer!

Inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I called ahead of time to see if they had a holster for a specific gun. The lady on the phone without going to check told me they had several options starting at 29.99 and up. I drove all the way there stood there for for 10 minutes till dude told me to go get the gun out of the car so we could check it for size. Come Back In stand there for 20 minutes while he lets at least 10 people go in front of me to serve them. Told me to hang on and he would help me when he got done. He ended up telling me to go look myself. I could not find one holster for my gun when I asked the lady that I talked to on the phone for help she could not find any either and put a holster in my hand for a different gun that she claimed might fit. Walked off as I was talking to her. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

This was the best place I ever been to! Especially coming off deployment and spending time with my mom who is an ex police officer. Great customer service. I recommend anybody that is prior military or current to come purchase a firearm or shoot. I will always make a stop here when I’m in town! Triangle Academy should take notes from place.

I got my membership here 2 months ago and its a short distance away, the staff is very friendly and informative. The range is what it is, a range. But its the only place I will go shoot in the triangle. I attended the conceal carry course this past Saturday and it was more than I expected. Keith was a wonderful teacher. Hes inspired me to want to continue with firearm training to the next level and beyond. I highly recommend the eagle 1 program.

Unprofessional. i had a great time my first visit, But it seems like the store only caters first time customers.My second visit I had to wait almost 2 hours while watching multiple first time customers get to shoot before me, and I had a membership card. The crazy thing is that I never got to shoot, dont waste almost 2 hours of a person’s time. If you have no lanes just say so.
