Super super cute! Intimate family atmosphere. Found Everything i was looking for. Prices are right and the hot food bar had me absolutely wanting a plate or two. Lol. And i found the biggest loofah in El Mandado!

I love this store..it has alot of variety, well organized and very clean. The staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions. Check out is fast.Meat section had great options and well organized and so is the freezer section. Fair prices. The candy at the front is my sons favorite for the toy that comes with it..I love those too. There are also some stores after check that sell some cool stuff even a phone repair stand.

Food is great here. However, when ordering the lady taking my order didnt speak English. Also because I couldnt speak Spanish she skipped me and took the Spanish customer behind me. The customer spoke English so he helped translate. When the customer left I received my order but was missing something. I told one of the ladys and they all bust out laughing speaking fast in spanish

Nice layout clean and organize isle did seem a bit small when two customers walking down same isle was kinda tight than most grocery also they have a restaurant smelled so good will have to try next time good variety of products on shelf

A nice store however everything in the store is in Spanish(especially at the meat section) so if you dont speak or understand Spanish, youll need to rely on the visual to know what you want also they mostly only have two cashiers open at a time and the line can get really long sometimes. Overall a really nice store!

I echo Barbara. This is a clean, organized store. I was not able to find ajicitos dulces, which I use to make fresh sofrito (so much better than the stuff in the jar.) I was able to find culantro (recao) which I grow in my garden anyhow. But not the ajicitos dulces, which add the right smokiness flavor. I wish you carried this variety of fresh pepper.

Rude service and hands arent washed after bathroom.Asked for a Bean and Cheese burrito. Recieved my burrito and it was a bean and fresh cheese, queso fresco, burrito. Went to talk to lady who took my order to get it swapped with a non-fresh cheese burrito since my wife cant eat queso fresco cheese due to pregnancy... even offered to give the old one back. The lady, Beatriz(?), just said, I dont want your old burrito, Id just throw it out and completely ignored my request.Additonally, my wife used the restroom and saw a female employee walk out of the bathroom without washing her hands.Really nice store, but the employees need some work...

My first time. Unfortunately I went on a Sunday afternoon. I am Puerto Rican and am looking for specific produce and was unable to find it. I think it was because I went later. I did find the bacalao I was looking for. I cant wait to go back. They have a huge hotcase but not open on Sundays.

Really great place, love the style and art but also the food. We went to buy fish and lobster for Lent (Cuaresma) and they were fresh! Lot of Hispanic variety and there is also a place to eat and/or to take!

Great fresh meats, bakery, and even an in-store restaurant. I am so happy to be able to get tamales to go! I really love the fresh vegetables, dried peppers, and cookware and spices that are available. A must see/must go to!

I love this store but I’ve noticed that the older ladies that work In the restaurant part of el mandado are so rude to non-Latino customers. They ignore the customers, and speak Spanish to them even after they hear them say they don’t speak Spanish. Its honestly disturbing to see people like this work in customer service when they have none. I hope who ever is in charge or the owners start holding their employees accountable for not doing their jobs. We go there to shop and spend money, no one is giving out anything for free and yet they seem to act like they are doing us a favor by doing their jobs that they get paid for. Also for management get people that are willing to help and that have common sense to help anyone regardless of their language.

Although dropping a rider off, I was surprised how nice this place looked inside and it seemed to have allot of ready made food.

The store is clean and organized, the meat department is very clean, they should have more items, like Ranchera preparada, Pollo Milanesa preparado, (that is prepared meat and chicken ready to go on tje grill) I have been to other places and the meat departments were dirty, old meat, and flies, the prices for the vegetables are too high at El Mandado

This is good place to shop if you are looking for ethnic foods to cook. Anytime I want to purchase a particular kind of meat, like oxtails or goat, this where I go. The selection of ethnic spices is great also. However, the staff and any visiting vendors, dont make any effort to be courteous to any non Hispanic customers. The staff of the onsite laundry mat makes it very clear that African Americans are not welcomed.

This is one of my favorite places to get Latin international foods. They have good prices on the produce they carry. And I love their meat department. They have a good marinated beef for grilling.

Good, imported foods from Central and South America. Some prices, however, are a bit higher than other international and regular supermarkets.

Staff are nice and are helpful. The store can be overwhelming if going in the first time. Theres so much stuff. Many overhead signs are in Spanish and English, but most importantly translated correctly. Im not often on this end of town, but if I cant find it at the typical smaller ethnic grocery stores then Im sure to find it here.

Great place to get real Latin American products. Recently moved from Chicago and this is like a scaled up version of so many small format stores I used to frequent. The in house tacos were great too.

It has more than most hispanic stores when it comes to international items. I can find a decent variety of Peruvian products and got good plantains (platano macho or platanos) to make fried plantains.

The store over all is good because you find different varieties of hispanic foods! There is also a salon, a restaurant, a laundry and I believe some type of legal office amongst other little vendors inside the store. Some of the cashiers have attitudes and dont give you a warm greeting, and usually are talking with someone on the side or the other cashier working next to them, but produce and products are usually pretty good. Sometimes prices for simpler things can be outrageous.

Nice Latin supermarket with a variety of products. The aisles are fairly clean and very well organized. The only downsize is that some products prices are a little higher than their competitors.

As a resident Panamanian/Colombian it is quite hard to find some of the specific ingredients or treats I have come to love, but this wonderful supermarket has them all and then some. They even have culantro (not cilantro) which is hard to come by. If you are in need of something latin, or looking to broaden your horizon of cooking, look no further.

Got all the Spanish needs. The only beer moving on those shelves are Coronas. Beware if you get anything else. I think the Heineken were still fresh. It’s definitely the go to spot for your tacos or lunch plates they serve. Highly recommend eating here if you don’t like the roach coach(just kiddding food truck) taco experience.

Great prices. Love the produce and meat selection. The restaurant has amazing tacos and the fresh guacamole is the best Ive had.

One of my favorite places to get pre-marinated chicken and beef for tacos or fajitas. The staff is always super helpful. I was a little bummed when I went in December looking for tamales but they didnt have any.

I was impressed with the amount of business or shops included in this place. I thought it was just a supermarket with Hispanic products/produce, but for my surprise it has a lawyers office, hairstylist, special events clothing and souvenirs ( Baptisms, first communion), sports clothing (Famous Clubs Jerseys), Boots, Money Grams, and a little restaurant, which by the way, all the cooked food looked delicious, and despite my best judgement I decided to try some and OMG, everything I had was delicious, definitely authentic flavors. So, I went back again, but this time I brought some friends and they also liked the place/food. My only not so good comment would be that it can use a better lighting, it kind of looks outdated, not too inviting. But I would definitely keep recommending this place

Being a non Spanish speaking person the people here were very welcoming although some did not speak very good English they were very nice and easy to communicate with. I had food from the food counter and the pupusas were great as well as the barbacoa tacos. They have a great selection of Hispanic foods also you can get you hair cut your jewelry fixed and your money orders in one spot.

They have a very large selection of pain products. With a bakery and taco restaurant inside. Some things arent labeled correctly so sometime you dont know the price until you get to check out.

There have only been 2 Hispanic stores I have been to, this and Compare Foods. This store has a pretty large selection of Hispanic foods from all over Latin America, including tropical fruits and juices. I was a little disappointed that the bakery lacked selection. Other than that, the prices were reasonable.

The hot food line is amazing. Food was fresh and had plenty of flavor. Service is friendly and fast.
