If I could give zero stars I would. Began this process through Lowes and this company is the subcontractor. It has been a nightmare since the beginning, horrible customer service. Wayne Dalton was supposed to contact me within 3 days of ordering and PAYING in full for the garage door to set up a time to come to my home to measure. This was on 9/6/2021. After many phone calls to Lowes and they to Wayne Dalton, my door was finally measured on Friday October 1 2021 (and he was late by 2 hours for the scheduled time). I was told by the Wayne Dalton representative that I would receive the final invoice and set up installation within 3 business days. The date of this review is 10/21/21 and guess what, nothing has been done. The first excuse was they were waiting on a supervisors signature the second excuse are IT problems. At no point has anyone from Lowes or this company offered to do anything to make it right. I am cancelling my order today. RUN as fast as you can away from this company.

5 star reviews are so easily handed out these days that Id give Wayne Dalton 6 starts if I could. I was in a jam trying to get my house on the market soon after a hail storm, and my contractor, for whatever reason, could not get a decent looking garage door on my house. Finally I had enough and just called the number on the back of the door, the number for Wayne Dalton, who had installed the original doors. A quick chat with them and I had arranged the installation of exactly the doors I had in just a few days. One of the panels got bent on the truck, but two days later their installers were back out there swapping in a new panel. Truly A+ service.

I wish I could give them a Zero star. Stay away from them a Technician name Chris came out lies about what was wrong with the garage and sold me 2 new remote that I didnt need. When I call management was all about was useless. Kept them away not trustworthy they just want your money.

I had a recent garage door issue and called Wayne Dalton of Raleigh. I was immediately connected with the service manager, Grant, who was extremely helpful in diagnosing my problem over the phone. He was able to schedule a service call, check on parts, and assign a technician to my home the following morning. Excellent customer service all around. Josh (Technician) called ahead and arrived right on time for a quick strut installation and a total door and track lube cleaning and inspection. I would highly recommend the services of the local Raleigh Wayne Dalton team. Thanks again for great service!

I would not use them again. No call no show on scheduled time. Contacted service department, they keep telling us we are scheduled as emergency call. And they will be back 1st thing the following day. We understand that things can happened and we could be delayed because of certain reasons. But keeping your customer informed in situation like that is basic good business practices, and they failed big time. I am not sure if one can trust their work when they cant keep the basics straight.

Todd has been a great sales rep to work with. The promptness of him getting back to me and scheduling a service call is truly appreciated. Great quality people and product. Would recommend them to anyone needing an existing door fixed or a new door installed.

They installed our garage door 18 years ago. Four kids and 2 dogs later lets just say we have used the garage door more than the average door. In all that time , needed 2 service calls (one due to our misuse). Both times they were responsive and serviced the door quickly. Couldnt be more pleased with the product or the service.

Absolute worst company to deal with. It has been two months and two days exactly and they still have not fixed my garage door opener. I made the mistake and gave game them a check of $200 at the initial visit two months ago because the tech told me they needed to order a replacement board. What a mistake that was. I had spoken to Debbie about a dozen times over the phone to get the tech to come out. She had lied several times over the phone by telling me that the tech would show at a certain day. He never came. This happened multiple times. Ive had it. I will file official complains with the BBB and the state attorneys office. In addition, I will call my bank to get my money back. Also, I will tell my neighborhood of this horrible company. STAY AWAY FROM THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE and take your business somewhere else.

Update: They did finally show up and fix my garage door opener, which needed replacing under warranty. Very friendly service. Only problems were the length of time for them to get there and their unresponsiveness to phone calls. My builder did finally get them to come back. Took 3 weeks in total. Id say they do nice work, a bit slow on responding to service requests. I finally calmed down once they did fix the problem.------ earlier after 15 days, this was what I was experiencing:Non-existent service that doesnt usually return calls, and misses appointments. Its been 15 days since I reported a problem with my door and they finally called me back and told me they were coming out, and they did not. If they are the cheapest, you certainly get what you pay for.

Wayne Dalton did an install on our new construction house less than 2 years ago. The door had issues from the start - it never could travel across the rails smoothly. During the first year, they tried to address over 7 trips. They tried various things - different spring settings, different springs, lubrication. The door opener motor burned out due to the load the door was putting on it. Anyway, the root cause could never be addressed. Now I have to lubricate the rollers every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the door traveling so it doesnt loosen the chain. Wayne Dalton says everything is normal. I would never recommend this company for service or support.

Do not, i repeat, do not waste your time. these have got to be the most inept and incompetent group of people i have ever had the displeasure of working with. i was scheduled for service this past friday, 12/21/2018 and when the day was mostly gone and i had not heard from anyone i called to find out when i can expect the serviceman only to be told they hadnt scheduled my service with a technician and would have to reschedule a date for me. mind you, this was said rather of matter-of-factly & offering no apology for the oversight and the inconvenience. so, i rescheduled the service for today (thursday, 12/27/2018). so as to not have a repeat of last friday, i called to make sure i was scheduled and get an estimate of when i could expect the technician. guess what...? once again i wasnt scheduled (no apology yet again) and i was told they would try to get someone to me today and could expect a call back confirming this. having received no call by noon i called back to obtain a status. my ticket couldnt be found during this call (finally an apology came albeit a rather less than genuine one). i was promised a call back once my ticket could be found. naturally im not optimistic at all about this call back. so, my service remains pending as of this review. through this experience it is apparent that they could not be bothered with how they have inconvenienced me and how this impacts my job in my attempt to be present for the service.all i can tell you is that you have been warned. buyer beware of grossly poor customer service and immense incompetence.

The technicians did a wonderful job in resolving the problem with the original install and were professional. How ever, the scheduling of the repair was quite a distasteful endeavor. It is evident that the customers time commitment is the lowest priority when it comes to scheduling; a greater concern is crew utilization. The dispatcher had originall stated that the crew would target the 8 -12 window. When that didnt materialize, I called at 12:30 and was told that the new window 3-5 pm. When I ran a errand at 1 pm, I received a call at approx 1:45 that the crew was in the neighborhood and that they were ready to do the job. I managed to get back home at 2:15 to meet the crew.There has to be a better way to schedule work.

This is now nation serveCalled 8/22/16 to get a replacement torsion spring. When I asked for a price, I was told since I didnt have an account with the company i would have to pay $90. I politely said thank you and hung up. Called another company locally and got a price for the same spring for 1/3 the price $30. I really guess that the individuals who are do it yourselfers are expected to get ripped off because we dont have standing accounts. My advise is if you are a handy man around your house and need to work on a garage door, dont call these folks. Unless you want to part with more of your hard earned money.

They completely dropped the ball on a repair that was set up by their dispatcher. Repair person was no show, no call on date promised. I left two VMs, no return call. Very disorganized, incompetent.

Spent a week trying to set up a service call to fix a torque master garage door spring. I was told that Wayne Dalton was the only one who could fix them. I left several messages with Jamie in services voice mail, (I was always transferred to voice mail) and never received a call back. Frustrated I decided to call Garage Door Doctor late on a Saturday not expecting anyone to answer since it was so late. To my surprise someone answered and was more than willing to help, they do not service torque master but set up a service call for the following Monday. I will end up having to convert my spring from Wayne Daltons to another brand, but I feel it is worth it not having to ever have to deal with Wayne Dalton in the future. Just my opinion....but it is inexcusable for a company in this day and age to be so unresponsive to new business. And if this is the type of service center Genie wants to have represent them, then when my garage opener decides to die I will be switching to another brand as well.
