I just left this Dollar Tree and am in love with the employees. Really sweet ladies helped me get some big items to my car that I would have struggled with otherwise. Thank you!!!

This store is next to my job. Very convenient.

I was coming from lunch from school. A Lady asked me if I was stealing due to me having my bookbag yet there were 3 other kids who weren’t my race that were shopping with their bags. When I replied “No”, she said “Well if you ARE I’ll call the police and ban you from this area”. She was also on the phone cussing with her boyfriend. I felt racially profiled and disrespected. I told another lady at the front what happened and all she said was “Sorry.” Definitely won’t be shopping here again.

When they first opened I went into the store and I was thrown off by how the woman manager talked to an employee as well as a customer. HOWEVER I must say that TERRI makes any of my visits worth while. Her sweet spirit, kind demeanor and the customer service she exhibits is beyond measure. Do not loose her or you will loose a customer!!

Weird reading the other reviews of this Family Dollar in the Longview Shopping Plaza ( next to Alamo Movie Theater). That is / was NOT my experience at all.I went today trying to catch some Small kitchen appliance sale items.I had gone to the “new” store on Trawick Trash and gossip talking staff, cluttered & crammed like a bomb went off and womens underwear pegged and shelved in the kitchen wear section and other disorganized madness.Then I went to the Raleigh Blvd FD at Glascock. Staff is much better and at least the right kind of stuff in the right section, but a lot of unpacked carts and boxes crowding the aisles.BUT the New Bern / Longview store was a relief and a BREATH Of FRESH AIR !!!FIRST, they had all 3 of the sale items I was looking for !!! The others did not. Or was so cluttered and disorganized, they couldn’t be found.SECOND - the store was NEAT, clean and CLUTTER FREE!!!THIRD - the more mature staff ladies were engaged in a conversation about cleaning the store - something the store showed was in full affect in a good way !FOURTH - I found all but 1 of the sale items logically and neatly placed in the kitchen section. But I was pleasantly impressed when I asked about the 3rd item on my list. The sales lady knew exactly what I was talking about and where she had moved it to and went with me to find it at the special sale end cap.I was a happy camper and told them they will be my go-to FD.Staff rotates on a dime in retail, and Family Dollar is NOT known for treating its employees well. Point being, who knows who will be working at the New Bern store next week, but if they can keep a good staff, this store is a great option for picking up quick cheap household items.

I usually enjoy shopping at family dollar however this particular store on New Bern Avenue the staff & manager are rude & unhelpful. Poorly maintained just to say the least.

Very unprofessional unusual announcement play as you walk in door only played in black area Family Dollar stores demeanor of employees reflect same.

This is the saddest place on earth. Across from the high school, during the work week and school hours this staff acts crazy. I will not be back
