With a very specific list of options on a Ford Explorer, it was a challenge finding my dream car with the shortage we have.But the very first car I test drove two weeks ago, was the one I went back and bought.Westgate had the BIGGEST inventory I have ever seen. We drove from Raleigh to Fredericksburg Va, all the way down to Charlotte and ended up right back down the road and purchased from Scott and Fay John. Thanks Guys for the help.I did have to end up using my creditUnion for financing with a shorter term to get the best rate but other then that it was a quick and painless experience. Also this is a real dealership that checks the cars with an 180 point inspection. I did although realize I have a crack in my windshield. We all missed it. I’ll let you know if they fix it or not.

The easiest experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. Put in an online inquiry. Got a hold of me quickly. Kevin, the internet sales consultant was very helpful over email. Understood I work better through email and text. Once I arrived, they got me with Brandon. Heck of a salesman, helped me out, and didn’t act like most of those “know-it-all” salesmen. If you don’t know the answer, find out, and say I don’t know, let me see. Don’t act like a know it all. I enjoyed the fact that he wasn’t like that. If you need a car, go here! Go see Brandon in sales. Make sure you have a great experience and meet Travis, one of the managers. They worked with me and helped me out in every possible way. Even cut me a bit more, EVEN IN THIS MARKET. That goes a long way! A long way for me! I will buy a car from them again. I don’t care if they don’t have the car, I will wait until I can work with them again. They have earned a customer for life. I purchased my Honda Civic Sport from there! Great car so far, and great team. Cannot stress this enough.

I typically do not write bad reviews but I did not have a good experience with Westgate. My salesperson Eric was a nice guy but they have so much inventory Im not sure they properly check all of the vehicles. I bought a 2017 Nissan with only 30k miles. I noticed the tires were pretty worn and brought this up to Eric. I was given a great price through their sister dealership (Burgaw), which the honored. Because of this, Eric basically said you can buy new tires with this price. I agreed, because it was like 3k under what they had online. However, less than a week from purchasing the vehicle my battery died. Now, I get it, its a 2017 but they just inspected the vehicle through their multi-point inspection. I contacted the dealership about the $200 I just spent on a new battery and they said Eric had a family emergency and would call me back. An entire month later, I contacted them again and they said Eric would call me back shortly. Never happened. They need to actually inspect the vehicles instead of just passing them through or just put a sticker that says as is and greatly reduce their prices. Also, to add insult to injury, their finance guy was rude and unwelcoming. He seemed to be upset that I was only financing a small amount and annoyed with any questions I had. That doesnt make you feel very comfortable when purchasing a vehicle.

I live in hickory NC. And I was looking for a Focus ST. They had one with everything I wanted in one. I wasnt able to go up and physically look at the car. Eric, one of the guys working there assured me everything with the car was in good/great condition. After about a week of owning it I started to run into some things, car needing a tune, old change. And the tires being bald all the way around. He specifically told me the tires were good. And they were not. Needing an alignment as well. I suggest personally looking at the vehicle before buying from them and dont believe what he says till you look at the vehicle by yourself.Update: after receiving a reply from this posting. I called. And like I expected, an apology was the only thing gained from the phone call. I wouldnt have Updated if the apology even sounded remotely sincere. But of course. It wasnt.

I drove 3 1/2 hours down to Westgate because they have a great selection of Jeeps. The sales staff were very nice and took the time to pull the keys for every vehicle I wanted to see and didnt try to rush me or push me in any specific direction. Gave me top dollar for my trade and worked with me on the Jeep. Highly recommend

I brought my car here to get washed. They washed my car real good like. I looked at my car and got scared by the sight of my reflection. I love Elise she is my girlfriend. She makes me happy and laugh sometimes. She didn’t get her car washed, maybe next time. All the employees were very nice and Made me feel good inside. I love the way they rub the rear end of my car and make it pretty.

This review is for the wonderful saleswoman, Aneta Chavdarova, who helped us with a vehicle we were interested in. She is personable, knew the car thoroughly, and was patient with us as we were undecided as we were shopping around. Even tho we didnt get the car it was only because I found one with half the miles elsewhere. It was no reflection on her at all. In fact, afterwards we decided it would make a great second car, but someone else snatched it up before we could make it back. I would definitely ask for Aneta again if we decide to look for another of the same make & model. She is a dream to work with!!

I have a 2021 wide body charger with just 3000 miles on it and I have noticed a ticking noise when backing up slowly so I called the dealership and was told to bring it in at 4:30 Friday July 16. When I arrived for check in the service writer informed me that 4:30 was not enough time to check my vehicle out for the noise. I took off work early to have this checked out only to be told that it wasn’t enough time so why would you schedule an appointment and know that you couldn’t honor it. The only reason I gave a 3 star instead of 1star is because they changed my oil which I did have an appointment for Saturday morning so I didn’t have to return the next day. My service writer was excellent but was disappointed in the experience I had

I normally dont leave negative feedback but dealing with these people was so egregious, I need to warn you:1. Went back three times to test drive a vehicle and the front window of the car was dirty. We asked to have it cleaned and she said that they did their best. That was the best they could do. This isnt a big dealership. Come on.2. We were ready to buy. Gave her our credit card for the deposit and she said that we had to sit down with the credit manager for two hours. Nope - not doing that.3. Today, the paperwork was drawn up and we were going to sign them at 4 PM. The manager just called to say that they had sold the car to someone else. You gotta be kidding me - who operates like this?Please do yourself a favor and go to another used car dealership, or even to eBay. They have to be more reputable and more professional than this below average used car dealership.

Decent service fairly reasonable sales. They lose a star from me for not making sure the truck I purchased had all the features I asked for. And they lose another star from me for spending three days to add a dye to my oil when I asked them to repair an obvious oil leak that was visible on the engine before purchase. A pretty obvious technique to try and avoid repair under warranty. Since now I have to wait for the leak to reappear then find another convenient week when I can afford to not have access to my truck in order for them to fix the problem that should never happen for one year old vehicle with less than 14k miles on it. But I dont think such a situation works be delt with any differently at any other dealer. Still annoying though.

Then after calling to get clarification on mix up .Was told to come back and talk to a specific person. Did that . Then to my amazement was told that I would be seeing a different person. To much . This place has some good agents if you’re buying a car, or taking your car there for the service. I got my car here and the process was long but they were helpful and patient.However, the customer service line sucks. Every time I call the agents on the phone are rude and don’t have the complete information, they cut me off and don’t even let me finish asking the questions. They need to improve on that because when you get a car the relationship goes beyond the day you get off the dealer with your brand new car.

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum 4WD -(VIN) 1GYS4PKJ5FR500200The dealership/salesperson were very responsive. On 23 October 2021, I traveled almost four hours to find out that the vehicle I was interested in had a MAJOR dent located on the right rear-side area, right-side rear taillight had scratches, and a slipping transmission. Nowhere located under the vehicle description “Details from Seller” stated any know deficiencies and it had a clean Carfax Report. After looking at the vehicle in person, going back to the photos taken by the dealership, and comparing (zooming in), that’s the only way I knew of such MAJOR dent. Instead of sales/leasing consultant “Stacy” trying to assist me, she kept making excuses why the vehicle was priced the way it was.Mind you, when I noticed the major dent, she (Stacy) pretended like she had no knowledge of such thing. After going back and forth with Stacy (who couldn’t assist me), I requested to speak to the finance manager. Finance manager came to only say that HE could only reduce a couple of “Hundred Dollars” off the vehicle even with the known facts listed above. He also tried to give me a sorry story “Black Book” /auction price. My list could go on…. I actually traveled almost four hours ready to purchase the vehicle with CASH.BEWARE, don’t waste your time, money, or energy with Westgate. If they failed to state all known facts ahead, never know what else they are covering up.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Period. Make sure to NOT leave anything worth value in your car. This dealer had my car for almost a whole month for warranty work, which they called me a grand total of two times the whole time to let keep me in the loop. I called numerous times, spoke with the service manager and even some Director guy. None of them impressed me in the least. I guess that is why they work there? I am also guessing that may be why my sunglasses were gone when I got my car back, and the hood seal ripped, interior glass was super dirty. A total clown show from top to bottom here - I would advise to go ANYWHERE else but this dealership. I typically NEVER give out reviews but I felt it was my civil duty to let other people beware. You have been warned.

This review mainly pertains to the service department which I would take into consideration if you plan on buying a car there and bringing it back for service.We have bought 3 jeeps from here. With this last jeep, the service has gotten progressively worse. Im not talking about anything major mechanically. Simply oil changes and tire rotations. The last 3 times Ive come in for service there has always been SOME issue. Either they didnt do the 5 tire rotation, they didnt do it right, or they didnt reset my oil life indicator. This is SIMPLE STUFF! If they cant do that right, how can they be trusted to do anything more mechanical????

We visited this dealership after checking out the website. We walked around the lot viewing vehicles for a while and we were never approached for help. My husband went inside to ask for help because some of the vehicles were not labeled with any details (mileage, price, etc) and they were locked so we could only do so much on our own. When we finally had someone to help us he seemed less than thrilled to be doing his job that it honestly put a damper on the experience there. He didn’t know where some of the vehicles were that were on the website and he didn’t seem to want to make much of an effort into helping us. I’m disappointed about having to walk away because you guys have a great selection of vehicles.

Bought a 2015 Scion Tc, for $15k.Gotta say, the experience was good. Aneta was my associate, and she was direct but not unfair or harsh. If youre open, it doesnt feel like youre being pushed too hard one way or another. The car itself is a dream. Its my first bigger purchase with a vehicle, and it feels like it. Theyre very open if you ask questions, and I even have previous repair/mechanic history from the last owner. Useful stuff that I wouldnt have expected otherwise.So yeah, nothing wrong and just good experience overall.

They will absolutely take advantage of you if you are a girl here. My girlfriend went for a transmission problem and they diagnosed her with 20 other problems and charged her more than 10k with the transmission still being a problem.After getting it back and having the exact same issue, they want to charge another diagnostic fee. Customer facing side also feels a bit condescending. Torn between taking it back here and trying to get value back or just taking it to a local mom and pop.Seriously -- do not go here if you dont fully understand cars.

Something’s fishy at the service center. Twice not once was there any error charge, had I not paid attention I would had paid more than what it should have been for an just oil change. My biggest concern is if they are actually checking everything and doing what they are supposed to do. I will speak to their manager and make sure they have skilled technicians.

Drove an hour only to be told there was no negotiating or wiggle room on the vehicle I was looking at. Even though the vehicle is 7 years old and 2 accidents , the dealership wanted to charge me $22,000….almost the price of a new vehicle for it. If you are looking for a used car this isn’t the place to go, you’ll definitely go home regretting your purchase. They are just looking to make a quick sale, not looking to help a potential customer. Will definitely look elsewhere for a vehicle.

I had a recall on my vehicle. I had to make 3 trips to get it handled. The last trip appointment was rescheduled at the last minute. When I finally got it done, I was told I was over charged at my last appointment and to correct it I will receive a free tire rotation. I called to speak to a manager and was told one will contact me and that never happened.The sales department was great but the service department can use some work. Three people can be there working on a computer and no one helping a customer and you walk in and they don’t really acknowledge you.There part department do not price match for the exact same part either.

Very disappointed with service. I found a vehicle online, contacted them, completed a credit application, and made an appointment to purchase the vehicle. Confirmed my appointment the day before and that morning. The morning of my appointment I was on my way when they called me to tell me they had sold it last night. I tried to call the sales rep I was working with, no answer, I called and asked for sales manager and waited on the phone for 10 minutes no answer. I text the sales rep again and asked him to have the sales manager reach out to me but have not heard nothing. Now they ran my credit caused my score to drop for nothing. I would not recommend them at all and will never go to them for nothing. I did go to another dealership right after that and they helped me and I did purchase a new vehicle.

My old car had just received a terminal diagnosis and I was having severe anxiety over needing to car shop. I looked at the inventory at local dealers here in Pittsburgh and found nothing. I was advised to search online and lucked on finding the model car I had an ongoing crush on for years. I contacted Westgate and Chauncey reached out to me. He sent pictures of the car from every angle, we started the financing over the phone. I made arrangements to fly to Raleigh, he graciously picked me up at the airport and after a test ride, I signed the papers with Jason in financing to make it mine. Always courteous and normally quite prompt. I arrived early for my service appointment and left about 50 minutes later when they completed the oil change and tire rotation. Lifetime oil change when you pay for a rotation….great benefit on new car purchase! Highly recommend them if you are looking for one of their products

I called to make an appointment for a standard oil change and to look at a noise my truck was making. I was told I would receive a loaner vehicle if the truck had to be kept for a long period of time. My truck was at the dealership for 4 hours, I had to call twice to receive an update, and I did not get a loaner when they told me they had to keep it overnight. Not very happy with the amount of time it took for this service and it would have been beneficial to know how long it was going to take and that I was not getting a loaner so I could plan my day accordingly due to the fact we do not live close by to Westgate. This was a huge disappointment because the people at Westgate are always so nice. The woman who assisted me was extremely nice though and I appreciate her patience. Do not know if the “free oil” change is worth the hassle anymore.

Two stars because the dealership is nice.I brought my Jeep to this dealer to get serviced. I own TWO of the same Jeeps.Same years. Different colors.Long story short. I brought one of my Jeeps there to get serviced and it sat all day because they said it had already been serviced. But it was my other Jeep that was serviced a few weeks previous not the Jeep that I brought in that day.They obviously dont check VIN numbers.That left a bad taste on my mouth with this dealerHorrible experience

Drove 3 hours from the beach up to the area to look at trucks. First place in Sanford tried to give us $6500 under our payoff. We quickly left and went to Westgate. Drove the truck we were interested in and it had a shake in the back end. They put it on the rack to find the issue and ended up balancing the tires. Drove again and it was perfect. Told the dealership we needed full payoff for our vehicle. They agreed with no haggle or hassle. In and out in just a short time. Sales associate Kris Emory was outstanding. Have been going to Westgate Jeep for service since 2016 and can say that over the last 2 years, the service has declined significantly. Will never go back and have wasted enough of my time over the years. I can overlook the minor things that come up because we are all human, but TWICE now I have shown up at my scheduled time (after having driven 40 minutes to get there) and they didn’t have a loaner car that was requested or items in stock that were needed for a repair. Good luck even managing to get someone on the phone to discuss issues or schedule appointments.Happy to start spending my money elsewhere.

‼️ DO NOT SOEND YOUR MONEY‼️ Definitely would not recommend purchasing used vehicles from this lot. Within the last 2 months, I’ve purchased 2 terrible cars. I paid $8000 cash for the first vehicle and within a month, the car stops going in reverse and driving forward although the car is in gear. I was told that their service department does not service Saturn cars. I then trade that car in for a different one and paid the difference of $500….3 weeks later, the car begins to over heat and smokes something terrible. I’m again told that they do not service Chevy cars….I understand used cars are used but for $8500 and 2 months it’s no way I’m looking for vehicle #3….upon trying to sell the car back to them, I’m told the cars value has depreciated $3000 within the 3 weeks that I’ve had it when clearly you didn’t check the car before you sold it….BUYER BEWARE ‼️

Went to buy a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk today and the experience left a real sour taste in my mouth, to say the least. The sales rep came out late to our appointment we set up 3 days prior, despite me texting them a warning when I was 35 minutes away, and having a phone call with them 9 minutes prior to arrival, on the 2-1/2 drive I dedicated to drive there. The Jeep was waiting for us when we got there, so we had a look at it before the rep saw us. The exterior was covered in pine needles and mud on the tires. The brakes were rusted really bad, which was the first red flag for me. It hadn’t been washed to be presentable whatsoever. The sales representative that came to greet us gave me red flags as soon as he greeted us, not even willing to give me a firm handshake. When we inspected the interior, the trunk’s padding was displaced, the backseat had Cobwebs covering the back left seat, there was gunk or mold on one of the rear vents, and when I went to open the overhead window the pop-up vent was covered in mold. We we’re outside for maybe 10 minutes looking over the vehicle, when the rep mentioned how it was hot outside in an effort to get us inside to discuss prices, despite the questions we asked him during the exchange, my brother and I really got the impression he didnt know what he was talking about. In the MIDDLE of the appointment, our sales representative left to go show someone else the same Jeep, and offered them a 15 minute ride, unlike us. At this point, we decided to leave and look for a car elsewhere. About 20 minutes later and a phone call to the manager, they tried reaching out to us to make an apology, but my Brother and I were already long gone and not willing to negotiate. We really felt like we had been brushed aside the whole time we were there.

He is knowledgeable, helpful and quick to respond to text messages or calls (even on his day off!!!) whenever you need something. I cant thank him enough! Seriously. Ask for DJ. You wont be disappointed.

Update: I was contacted by the Sales manager Eric, and he made it right.It was an unfortunate situation, but the dealership stepped up and resolved my concerns. I appreciated the quick response and ability to correct the situation. GHLet me start by saying my salesman was awesome, the sales manager was awesome and the price for my new Durango was fair. Unfortunately, the finance experience was less than stellar. I have a good income and excellent credit. I went for the Chrysler Capital loan option due to the $750 incentive for doing so. The finance manager gave me two options for financing and I chose one. After the fact, I remembered seeing lower rates for Chrysler Capital on the Dodge Website. I checked again today and they are definitely lower as I remembered (they didnt change online). Unknown to me at time of purchase, but the dealer jacked up the rate. I have always qualified for the lowest rate, so I didnt question that I was getting the best deal. Not so. I have since become aware that it is common for the dealership to offer higher rates as they get a kick back from Chrysler. Needless to say, this experience has tainted my view of the dealership and I will be refinancing the loan immediately. Buyer beware of this practice.

I normally dont like to leave bad reviews of any business, considering its probably not fair to those who do their jobs accurately. This Sunday morning I was in route to what I understood to be a 12:30 appointment to test drive and purchase a vehicle, as discussed with their sales rep. Jerin Cosgrove on Saturday. It was supposed to be a simple car deal, I was coming with my own financing, all that needed to take place was the test drive and finalize the paperwork...However in the middle of my 3 hr drive I get notified that the vehicle was sold last night and when I called the dealership, the receptionist was very polite and apologized for the situation stating that the appointment wasnt recorded and apologized again...If your sales agents cant log and keep appointments , its not good for business...Will not be doing business with this dealership again.

Do not buy a vehicle from this place!! They issue you temporary tags and the tags run out but then they cant answer the phanswer the phone to make sure that your car stays legal. It should not take many phone calls to resolve this issue.

My husband took our Dodge Journey to the service department a couple of weeks ago. Two days after the service, the check engine light came on and after being towed back to the dealership, they determined that all of the oil had leaked out due to their technician not putting the o-ring seal back in after the oil change. They did pay for the towing, but also the Service representative (Josh) told my husband that they would not charge us for the service. My husband has checked his card statement and the charges have not been refunded. He has called to speak with Josh twice and each time is connected to his voicemail. My husband has left two messages and has not received a return phone call. My husband has been a regular customer for many years. Sadly they don’t appear to follow through on promises or feel it is important to provide good customer service. Want to warn others to be weary of this dealership (especially their service center).

My truck was serviced by Westgate Ram after an accident occurred last month. The staff at 1st was very friendly and responsive however over the past 4 weeks it was hard to get anyone on the phone or at least during normal business hours. I was also a bit upset to find out that all of the parts had not been installed on the truck but given to me , several other items are not completed due to delays and backorders. Some of these items of course are no fault of Westgates, they are due to the crazy world we live in right now , but some of the issues certainly where left behind or just brushed off which is 100% on the staff. I have purchased several vehicles from this location but would consider going elsewhere for my next truck or jeep. It would also be 50/50 on recommending to family or friends. My one or two purchases ever 18 months will mean nothing in the big picture .

The first staff member I talked to in regards to my van issues was rude beyond compare. The second staff member that has handled my case from the second time onward was great. My brand new van has stalled and cut off five times in two weeks to the point where I can’t drive ten miles from the lot on the highway without it cutting off in traffic. It has been “fixed” multiple times but has not seen my driveway in two weeks. Beyond frustrated.

🚨🚨UPDATE🚨🚨Someone commented on here from the dealership and gave me a number to call so I did. .spoke with a man who said he was going to relay the message to the sales manager and that he would call me back with information on how they could fix my problem. .its been a week and I have not gotten a phone call yet. I FOUND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND PAID $530 FOR A NEW DRIVE SHAFT!! which was odd being the car only has a little over 72,000 miles. I can honestly say after I pay this car off I will not be buying another car from them, I will take my business else where.!Loved the service everyone was kind, my sales guy worked with my trade in gave me options on what car I wanted and worked with me money wise. The only problem I have is there is a clunking noise that Im sure they knew about but didnt fix before trying to sell and definitely didnt tell me about. Yes its pre owned but for the amount of money Im paying for it I would have thought they would have fixed that or at least told me about it beforehand that way I could have bought something else.
