Love this place. Staff are very friendly and very eager to help. Nice selection of tools and other things you would expect to find in neighborhood hardwares store. Their garden center is pretty nice to.

Watch this place. They love to over charge at the register. It happens nearly every time I purchase something here. I recently bought a tool marked on the shelf at $12.99, and when they rang it up, they charged me $13.99. It is always $1 over the shelf price and the clerks are never surprised or apologetic when it happens, just annoyed. They dont even check the price when you tell them theyve overcharged you. They just give you the overcharged amount back. It happens so often that it is certainly store policy to over charge at the register hoping that people wont notice.

Drove 40min to the store because they had several Weber performer deluxe listed on the website of various colors available for same day pick up. The store attendant informed me they are out of all colors and have been for awhile but the website doesn’t update quickly. How can Ace compete with Home Depot if this is how the online services work?I will update this review if I am contacted and told this changes. For now I suggest calling ahead… old school. Or going somewhere else.

I love this location of Ace! The garden section is awesome and they have just about everything you could need for basic home improvement projects. But they close so early I often end up having to go to Home Depot instead! :( Please extend your hours!

Ace has a wonderful all-around selection with a nice range of green/eco-friendly products. They have a great garden section. The staff are very friendly and helpful as always happy to load things into your car when needed.

My husband and I love this location. Best people in town. If they dont have what you need in stock, they can usually get it.

Got a key made here I’m 6 months pregnant super fast easy and they did it with a smile even hooked me up with a super rad lion design on the key! They put The Westmoreland Ace to shame :) would recommend to come here everytime!

Way easier than trudging out to the big guys and they have a fantastic amount of items packed into an old school hardware store. They just expanded the garden section, too.Id say they have what I need about 90% of the time, which I consider really good. Also, youre way more likely to get help here from staff.

Walked there and stood at the counter for 5 to 8 minutes to buy skate part and was ignored. I will never set in that place again.

I just moved to the area three weeks ago and have been to this store 8-10 times now, because my new home needs lots of work. I have entertained the thought almost every time to go to my old neighborhood where the people that worked at the store were friendly/helpful. I dont know much about tools and how to do things, so I have a tendency to ask questions and need more help than most people that go to a hardware store. Ive given this store plenty of chances to do better and am bummed that this hardware store is in my neighborhood. I only decided to write this review, because my husband came home from work and said the same sentiments to me so I know it isnt just me that feels this way.

We went to get some epoxy for a project. Currently customers wait outside and the items are brought out to them by employees. Thank you to the young man that went back and forth 3 times trying to find what we needed.They did not have the right epoxy, but we really appreciate the patience and support provided. Im not sure if the amazing garden section has its own name or is just another section at Woodstock Hardware, but never have I been so impressed with a nursery (or garden center, etc.) in my life. The level of care given to each plant is evidenced in how vibrant and healthy they are. Theres a truly magical little place behind this hardware store. Its a secret (well not so secret anymore) sanctuary for me. Theres a refreshingly diverse range of plants which makes this spot even more unique. Anyway, the air was fragrant, the staff is always very friendly and informative. If you have a love for gardening, I think this is a nursery definitely worth checking out.

These guys rock. They have almost ecerything youll need except lumber. And they cut keys, keys that actually work.

They have the BEST selection of bolts, nuts, washers, and screws, etc. I love that most of the time I can buy just what I need, and not a pre-packaged set.

Huge selection of items and could have sold me new ones but I really just wanted these cut down so thats what they did. I very much appreciate the what does the customer need attitude. Well stocked for a small store, they have a good selection for all your hardware needs, Ive been there for several different projects. Their secret outdoor/garden section in the back is lovely also.

Love it so much. Everybody loves my dog. They come and play with him. I lost my my husband just recently. They are so helpful on getting what I need. When I buy something, and walking my dog and I cant carry it. They will put it behind the counter with my dogs name on it.

Really reliable basic neighborhood hardware store. Great array of what you need, from paint to wheelbarrows to nuts and bolts. And if they dont have it (like some flooring stuff I needed once), they know where you can get it. Friendly, well-staffed which is a huge plus, a solid, all around, go-to spot for all the non-lumber items for yard and home repair projects.

Ive come here before to buy plants from their nursery, and to get gardening supplies. The staff here is always very friendly and are happy to provide help or let you browse at your leisure. The plants that Ive purchased have been healthy and the prices are reasonable.

Always friendly and very helpful as soon as you walk in the door. They found out I was a teacher and let me know they give a 10% discount to educators. Shopping local is easy with nice people like those here.

Went for a couple specific bolts, and they were all so helpful as soon as I walked in the door. They had exactly what I needed and when it came to 50 cents and didnt have anything but a credit card they said dont worry about it and just gave them to me. (Next time I go in, and there will definitely be a next time, Ill pay them back, but wont forget how awesome they were.)

Youll find almost everything you could think of stacked to the ceiling in the hardware part of the store. Through a door youll find the garden department with garden tools, plants, containers and more. Step out and youll find an amazing assortment of large plants, containers and supplies.

The kids kicked out a window and I wanted to try and replace it myself. Being a novice handyman the crew at Ace Hardware really came through for me. They gave me great instructions and encouragement. After they helped me gather what I needed I followed their instructions and my new window looks great. Special shout out to Chad. Personal was uncaring, cold, unfriendly, and I left unhappy. First, I was told you did not do screens. Second, I was told it would take 5-7 days for my screen to be fixed. Third, argued with me about having all the screen available, when I had 4 corner pieces and 4 pieces of screen.I dont understand why it would take more than 1 day to fix. If I had the tool, seal and screen I would have done it myself.I had 1 bad experience with you folks 6 yrs ago and I see nothing has changed. I would never recommend any Ace Hardware.to anyone.

I went here and need some lumber and some fasteners and small stuff and when I asked for the lumber I need three guys were working and had no idea if they had it no one knew what it was or if they had it I asked If i could go walk through and look they told me no and just stared blankly at me so I left and stumbled upon 52 ace hardware and lumber and they were great they even cut the wood and helped me refine my plan and saved me allot of work and money they are on the corner of 52nd and rural I believe

Love this place! I go here about twice a month (or more in the summer) and always find what Im looking for. The people are friendly and a great resource. The place feels very much like the neighborhood family hardware store of yesteryear. I love to grab our wagon and walk up there with my 3 year old without worry of her getting lost in the store or run over by a 16 year old driving a fork-lift...big box hardware be dammed. And they also sell a fine line of artisan skate-boards. Cheers!

Ive lived near this hardware store for 22 years and have been in, on average, at least once a week. I am moving out of the area and will commute in to Woodstock Hardware at least once a week because YES, they are that awesome.
