I love IPD. The website is easy to navigate, they have quality parts and quality information available for most parts. I buy almost everything I need for my Volvo from this site. I placed a large order recently, one item was on backorder. I just called and the customer service was amazing! The wait time was a little longer that I would like, BUT NOT UNREASONABLE BY ANY MEANS. I spoke with Stephen and he was super friendly, and helpful! He helped me get all the parts to ship today, and the backordered item will ship when it can. Thanks for always being excellent!

Bought a sway bar kit, sport springs and an exhaust system on separate occasions for a p2 s60. I also owned a stage II 850r with all the mods coming from Ipd. The customer service they offer made the whole experience smooth and seamless even though I had to make changes to the order. Shipping was fast and easy (I live in Montreal, Canada) and the quality of their parts is truly commendable; everything was a perfect fit and was installed without any issue thanks to their clear instructions (even for someone with no mechanic experience like me). The upgrade is immediately obvious both after driving or simply when seeing the old and new parts side by side. You can tell they have spent lots of time with volvos and know what theyre doing.Will definitively go back to them for other upgrades or simple maintenance needs. Ipd is a total no brainer.

If you own a Volvo you need to be shopping here. Theyve got all the OEM parts and tools and kits youll need. They also include instructions with all of their mechanical parts which are very useful. Their website is also super easy to navigate.

Great customer service good people who know ther Volvos

Iv never has such a terrible experience with a company before. I live in bend and I brought a cut cv axel with me all the way to Portland to hopefully have them compare it with a after market one to make sure I get the correct part and while trying to explain this over the phone standing outside of their building (closed due to Covid )he was rude and mocked me for not understanding and or belittled me when I asked questions. I was only trying to clarify after buying six parts that have not worked.The Volvo specialist who could’ve spent three minutes coming to the door and having a conversation with me or even just looking at the part wouldn’t answer my question without rudely commenting things like , (What don’t you understand? Or it eaither fits or it doesn’t ). Another comment was Rudely stated (why wouldn’t I have took it to a Volvo dealership?) I told him the dealership sent me to them and look now three hours away from home And I still have no answers and my Volvo is still broke down. I’m completely shocked that this is the way they do business. I am no mechanic but I am a customer I should not be talked to like I’m ridiculous when I just am looking for a simple part that will actually work for a car I own. I would not do business with IPD which sucks because they have a monopoly of Volvo parts they should absolutely have been able to help me let alone talk to me about it.Garbage customer service if I could give them a zero star I would he might as well have just hung up on me rather than be rude M and make me feel dumb for trying to ask questionsUPDATE -I was contacted promptly by the vice president of a IPD he took the time explaining to me why I have been having a issue with the aftermarket cv joints , he gave me all the answers I needed . He treated me with respect and compassion and took the time to make sure I knew that my time was valuable and even if they specifically couldn’t help me directly with the part I needed he share his knowledge with me so i understood where to go from here . He even said I could contact him if I ever get into any issues with understanding my s60R in the future. I will be doin B business with ipd for sure . I’m glad he called and I could tell he was genuine . ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I discovered IPD like most great things... word of mouth. I’ve been a “ Volvo Guy” for the last 25 years, and didn’t get into the “R” until 5 years ago .... now I’m addicted of course and IPD supplies me with the best “goodies”for both of my Rs... yes I have two!!! From my boost gauges to my 3 1/2 in cat back, to my 18in Hyper Silver Pegs.... IPD is the best in Volvo OEM and manufactured parts and swag!!!! Love IPD- the best!! Bought some parts for my 2004 Volvo XC70 a few years ago, and theyve been on my car ever since then. Zero problems. The quality of the parts was all top notch, and the prices were extremely reasonable. In particular, I ordered their aluminum skid plate, among other things, and it was a lot more robust than I was expecting. It replaces the molded plastic one that I had on there. The installation wasnt too rough, I did it all entirely by myself. The plate itself fit absolutely perfectly, and it has handy ports which allow easy access to the oil filter and drain. I am extremely happy with this company, on all levels.

Great customer service! IPD is helping keep my 2005 XC70 going toward the 250K goal. They also have swag items for when you need a thank you for your mechanic or other Volvo fans. Even paying shipping to the northeast US is worth purchasing from IPD to be sure Im getting actual OEM/OES or the best after market parts. Thanks, IPD!

I just ordered $1300 USD in parts to be shipped to Canada, however a few days later the whole site had a sale and most of my parts were reduced in sales price. The guys at IPD are great to do business with. I was dealing with a oil pan that I bought from another vendor other then IDP. The part was from Dealing with the factory directly that built that oil pan they got me back in touch with IPD Chris to help me out. Chris sent out a oil pan and oil filter housing even though he did not sell me the part to get me back on the road. What a great company to take care of customers and gain a customer for life. Second time this company has treated me right.

Dealing with IPD Volvo Parts is a real pleasure. They have a great product line and the customer service reps are friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back - much like the Volvo owners they serve. Im giving them only three stars because they couldnt give me direction after failing to solve my last part issue. It was like, we dont have it and we cant tell you where to get it. It was a rarely needed part, but it was a Volvo part that was a component of the emissions system - something they should know. Im disappointed that Id driven 30 miles to get a Volvo part for a common model and not only didnt get the part, I didnt get information on how to find one.

Ive been dealing with this company for years, slow shipping if the item thats being sold is even in stock other wise your better have patience. Higher prices than other stores and rather unhelpful customer service.

Great experience. Everyone on the team here was wonderful to work with. They are Volvo specialists, but have a heritage that includes Subaru and rally. They worked on my Subaru installing an AVO system. Fantastic job and took great care of me and my car.

If your 240 is more loyal to you than your boyfriend- buy it some lowering springs.

Cool ass place.I dont own a Volvo but have friends that do and living in the Portland area they swear by this place for all their new Vovlo goods. Tagged alot a couple times and the employees are super knowledgeable, friendly and laid back. I did buy some goods from them, A bumper coat that was recommended and item was perfect for what I needed.

Very strange and different from the company I remember them being, but they still have developed some unique Heavy Duty and Economy parts for many things like lenses, bushings, and certain other parts are frequently a saving grace to a Volvo owners wallet.

Ive owned Volvos for 20+ years from the 122s to the xc70 and this place has always been their to support my obsession. They are also one of the few places that when they see an issue with a Volvo part they produce their own. I will continue buying parts from IPD for many more years.

Shop here only for your Volvo parts! Dont buy elsewhere! Auto parts store bought parts are very low quality, and in most cases the parts are over priced. I learned a hard lesson. Note! FCP euro is also very good to for European car parts.

I just bought a part that no one else had in stock. They had a cheaper option but I chose the OEM item because of the parts quality and the outstanding customer service and and advice.

Theres always room for better, but by far, the place has been the best place for me and the 01 Volvo S60 T5. Ill keep going back for more items and for their professional insight.

Horrible customer service and a nightmare of an experience overall.Ive ordered parts from IPD (likely the first and last time Ill order from them) and this is my experience:-First shipment of the order took 3 months, and was missing an item that I was charged for.- The missing item was planned to be shipped along with a back ordered item-After 7 months, missing item was shipped on its own. After they insist on having me pay for shipping/customs/etc for a mistake on their OWN END-After 9 months, and not hearing back from them, they still have not shipped me the backordered item. I contact them and find out theyve already restocked the item (which they failed to inform me).-ZERO effort to make up for errors on their end.Summary:-Horrible customer service and communication-extremely long shipping and handling times-missing items in shipment and no follow up (you basically have to pester them to get any feedback)Conclusion:Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Would not recommend dealing with this company.

They dont stock most of there listed parts. I would say they stock less the 40 percent of there listings. They dont know any thing about the 140s and had to return almost a complete order due to them not knowing the changes from befor 1969 And after 1970. And would not return most of the wrong parts cuz i had to open the packages to find there wrong. They will not pick up there phone. I tryed 6 times in one day each time i was on line for 15 mins. All of my breaks and launch at work. And after work a few times. Only way to get half ass service is to go in person. Then its still sad. That parts they have is nice.. If there was any other local shop i can buy the parts from i will. But still forced to deal with them.

I do like parts from this company but i have a complaint. I ordered several parts yesterday and afterwards realized i needed some clips (small and light weight). So i called to add it to my order because shipping starts at 8 dollars no matter what u order. No answer. So i emailed with all my order info and phone number to reach me. No response. So finally i called today before they closed. The answer i got was basically sorry but we shipped your order and i never saw ur email. I guess the email link didnt work really? So since customer service email doesnt work then i dont get customer service? Like i said i do like their parts but that just doesnt seem right to me.
