Usually the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Tonight, the younger male was not motivated or helpful in the slightest. They didnt have what we needed and he didnt even offer to have it shipped to the store for us

Working in a 1973 ford f100 Ranger and they had most of what i needed , lines were little long but employees are fast and made up the difference in wait time

Let me tell you WHY I purchased my part from here. Even though they did not have it in stock. Janie I think her name is (very short girl) WENT WAY OUT OF HER WAY to not only make sure to get me the best price. But when the part was not in stock, she hopped on the phone and call around other stores and I mean like Orileys and others to find the part for me so I could get it the same day.Any BUSINESS that goes out of there way for customers has MY BUSINESS. I didnt even have to ask. She just did it on her own. YOU DO NOT FIND SERVICE LIKE THIS ANYMORE PERIOD! Or it VERY RARE.I am going to pick up my part today at 10:30am today. She even made sure I got the BEST PRICE POSSIBLE! Gentleman. THIS is how you run a business !GO HERE if you NEED A PART. THey even give out part numbers and for a limited time you get 20% off if you order online. And you pick it up at the store. AND THEY WILL HELP YOU ORDER IT ON YOUR PHONE IF NEED BE!OUTSTANDING SERVICE! JOB WELL DONE.And I dont give these compliments to anyone.And they do Veteran and Military Discounts.I hate going to SE Portland. But if you live around here. THIS is the place to go.This store is MAN friendly.

Great place for parts

Great place!I went to the one off of S.E. Powell recently, and the young man there must have just started, because he got every single part wrong that I needed.So I went to this one, and they replaced all the parts with the correct ones, and the young man that was working there helped me with my windshield wiper replacement. They were extremely hard to remove for some reason, and even he had difficulty getting them out, but he replaced them for me, and I was very grateful.Will be coming back to this Advance auto parts for all my parts needs!

They did not have the part I needed, but this is the fourth place Ive gone looking for it. They directed me to where I can find it, and fully downloaded me with information on battery installation, maintenance, and wiring. No other auto part store Ive gone to this morning had any knowledge for me or even cared to help. Like I said, they didnt have the part, but 5 stars, none the less. Awesome folks here. Thanks, guys!

Very rude employee who argued with me while trying to return a product i bought less than two weeks ago. Told me they never sold it in that container. And in fact hadnt sold that product in over 2 years. Well he was proven wrong and yet still wanted to argue. My suggestion is go anywhere but this store!

This location has very helpful staff. I have been t ok many auto parts stores and these people went to great ed at efforts to help me find a solution. They looked through parts to make sure I was going to have the correct one. I am grateful for the extra effort they put in that other auto parts stores do not.

Crooks. Ordered online to pick up in store. A cartridge kit for my 3M respirator. Box was full of used and expired filter. Sealed package was open and the filter were soiled. Told me they cant do the return. Shame on them for selling something obviously used and endangering my health. Ill just get a credit card charge back. Its downright criminal what they are doing at that location

An auto parts store. When you need one they are so great. Good stock. Cheap enough, but only when you use their rewards card. The problem is that the rewards card never works and the staff are clueless about that type of stuff or so they claim and its embarrassing to have to hold up a line because I refuse to be taken advantage of. So it may be best to go somewhere else where the staff is competent and able to offer reasonable help to seemingly simple questions.

Friendly staff who obviously know their way around the place. Easy going productive atmosphere. The place it easy to find and has a pretty decent amount of parking space.

Rudest phone customer service ive ever had. I asked the guy if i can talk and he refused to let me talk. You should revise your recording for 01-23-2020. Time 6:22pm. Tell me if i am wrong, that was unbelievable!!!

The young man behind the register didnt seem very knowledgeable about the product in the store.

I was treated badly the moment I walked through the door. The clerk was demeaning to me since I was a woman. He talked down to me when I requested more specific information about lamp sizes available. He said they are all standard for that amperage. He grabbed a bulb shoved it my hand and walked away to help a male customer that walked in and that new customer was treated with respect when asking about parts. I ended up leaving very disappointed and insulted as he had given me the wrong part.What this kid didnt realize is that I am an engineer who has worked on my own cars for 30 years. Just sad.I bought nothing and will never go back here. I also tell everyone not to go here.

This Advance Auto gets a 5🌟 rating soley based on their hours of operation. The only parts store open till Midnight everyday! Their selection is avg or on par with most other big name parts stores as well.

Great service just didnt carry what I needed

If I could give negative stars I would. The general manager Bob Foster and his cronie Jenny provided me with the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. He refused to do a warranty return and didnt have the courage to tell me in person. He sent Jenny to do his dirty work. Then after I had spoken with his district manager I found out he was indeed obligated to do the warranty return. The district manager called good ol Bob and told him to refund the item. But, of course Bob again sent Jenny to do the return. After that I asked Bob for an apology and he said he wasnt going to apologize for something when he did nothing wrong. If he did nothing wrong he would not have been told he had to do the refund. Buyer beware! Bob Foster will attempt to refuse a warranty return but just know it is the policy of Advance Auto Parts that a return with the original receipt will be honored at any Advance Auto Parts in the country. I guess I should be thankful to Bob Foster. His stubborn and belligerent attitude earned me a $50 gift card from Advance Auto Parts.

Had what we needed at a reasonable price

Constant waste of time. My last 3 visits were like this: rented a tool I needed, found that it was defective. Went somewhere else found a working one. Got a ride to this place after calling, business was closed early with a sign on the window saying that systems failed had to close early. Next day I call and nobody knows what Im talking about when I ask why?! Then I called to rent yet another tool (you would think I would have learned the first time but I thought it was a fluke.) I got there and the tool wasnt there. Going to permenately take my business elsewhere.
