Excellent experience at the Portage dealership. The GM, Justin, spent a lot of time with us and made us feel very comfortable and confident in our decision to buy a new Ram. Joe in Sales was great. He gave us our walk-through of the truck and answered all of our questions. The woman that went through all the financing paperwork was very pleasant and took care of our questions. The Parts Department was fantastic! We got some add-on accessories put on the truck and they were able to do this very quickly. Garrett and Chance did a great job taking care of our needs and getting us the right parts to make the truck look great.Wonderful experience with the Portage CDJR crew! I made an appointment to checkout a car and was 30 minutes away from the dealership only to receive a phone call saying that someone else was looking at the car I made an appointment to see. I received another phone call when I was 15 minutes from the dealership for my appointment and they told me they just sold the car I drove almost 2 hours to look at and possibly buy it. This is not how a business should treat its customers! If someone makes an appointment to see a vehicle and someone else shows up before the appointment they should be informed that they cannot view the vehicle until after the scheduled appointment is done! I’m very disappointed, not only did I waste 4 hours round trip but also used a good amount of fuel all for nothing. I will tell everyone I know looking for a vehicle not to support this business.

Purchased vehicle and next day truck showed immediate symptoms of bad timing chain. Check engine light, rubbing timing chain sounds upon start up.Went to dealership with complaint and initial diagnosis was O2 sensor though obvious code look up showed timing. Tech cleared code and sent me on my way. Check light returned right away, and upon return next day was told timing component issue and was asked if I had purchased the warranty which I had not. They then allowed me to change my purchase contract and add the warranty for over $2000 more. Upon inspecting the vehicle, I was told that the issue was a timing solenoid which cost $400+ to fix which isnt even covered by the warranty I had just purchased. I paid the change the sensor, which did not fix the issue as I stated I didnt think it would but Im not a mechanic. After looking at the truck further, the service center finally agreed that it was indeed a timing chain issue and submitted the timing job to the warranty company. After about a month of back and forth the warranty agreed to cover most of the repair. After about a week or so Im told my car is finished and I pay my portion. I then notice that I was charged basically twice for the same part. I was supposed to get refunded for the extra charge, but I never was.The day after I get my truck back I find an oil leak under my truck. Im told to bring the truck back and they find a leaking valve cover. ( A part they had to remove.) They fix the leak and I pick up the truck. On the drive back to my house. ( 5 min away ) I start smelling oil. The truck is still leaking oil. Even worse then before so I take it back again, same valve cover. It gets fixed a second time. This time leak appears to be stopped.Fast forward about 6000 miles later. I take the truck in for an oil change at the dealership and the tech finds a leak from the valve cover. ( a part they removed ). I ask about the leak and am told to bring the truck back again. A week later I get the truck back again. I will be watching closely for more leaks.Needless to say, after the warranty I purchased wears out, and the repair warranties wear out, I wont be going to this dealership ever again.

I was shopping for a truck. I am the owner of a mobile business and needed something reliable yet affordable to pull my trailer. This was the 5th dealership I went to. The market for trucks is pretty tight right now. The sales and finance team went above and beyond to provide me with all my options and give me the best deal as close to my budget as possible. As long as they continue with the level of customer service provided, I will be a customer for life. I dont have a negative thing to say from sales up to management. This is how vehicle shopping should be.

Disappointing experience. False advertising. They advertise a good dealer discount to pull you in but it was no where to be found in my quote. What I found in addition to the missing advertised discount was a fully marked up money factor. When I asked about the discount discrepancy I was ignored. I expressed my issues to their internet department and was ignored by them too. That is false advertising and an old crummy sales tactic that should be left behind. Customer service was unprofessional. Ive noticed other reviews complaining about similar issues. There are other local dealers that dont use these tactics and came in over $100 a month less then here.

Picked out a pair of tires for my 2012 Dodge pick up that work perfectly with the truck. And not a bad price either. Im happy with the sales reps that took care of me and my truck. Thank you for your time and care.

Very disappointed with the unethical business practice of this dealership. More concerned about the bottom line and making money then taking care all of the customers with equality and fairness. Long distance purchase plan with verbal communication of plan to purchase truck. Send paperwork to get signature do we can lock the deal. Even offered to put money down to hold truck until I get signature on paperwork. Dale the sales manager said he could not hold the truck but was not in the habit of selling vehicles out from underneath customers. A lie! That same afternoon they sold the truck. Never got a single piece of paperwork to sign or a phone call until I reached late in the day to check status.Dale’s explanation was frankly that a non local customer is not as important as someone standing in the dealership.I’m sorry but if I ran my business practice this way I would be fired or out of business.Do yourself a big favor and shop elsewhere.Side note they were going to charge 300 dollar service fee and 300 dollar theft protection. Again just two more examples of screwing the customer to line there pockets.

My truck broke down on the side of the road. I called Postage Ford, they gave me a wrecker number to call.When we got to Postage Ford they we able to analyze the problem. Which was a water pump. Great service. We needed a fuel injector replaced on our 2006 Dodge Ram diesel while traveling. Staff was honest about problem, careful and efficient with diagnosis and prompt on repair. Second time they have solved a major issue for me when traveling through WI.

Wade was the best. Not many people decide to go car shopping during the heat of a pandemic coupled with a safer at home order. Wade made the process smooth and easy for me. Even after I pivoted from wanting a new car to a preowned car he found me exactly what I was looking to buy. With the first snow fall I was not even able to get out of my driveway, has a friend look at it and yup. Just front wheel drive. Had tried to contact her, has read my messages with no response.

I bought a Chrysler 300 in July 2020. When I bought the car I was told by the salesman, Steve, it had a remote start, via my cell phone, if I just downloaded the Sirius Guardian app. That was a selling point, who doesnt want remote start? Turns out it is a paid app, $300 annually. When I learned this, post-sale, I brought this to the attention of the sales manager I got nowhere. No effort to get back with me to offer up a finite subscription or any olive branch for the fact that I was misled and based my offer on that (faulty) information. I called a handful of times on this and a couple of other minor issues but rarely got a callback. It is not that I would not recommend Portage Chrysler Ford but make sure you verify anything you hear that you are not sure of yourself. I found Sawyer, one of the salesmen, very engaging and straight-forward. The other staff at the dealership were terrific.

Brought my Jeep Renegade in to get a flat tire repaired. Dropped it off on a Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. Did not receive a call until Wednesday after 1pm telling me the tire was not repairable. Decided on new tires. They said it would be ready Thursday. Called them multiple times on Thursday afternoon to find out when my Jeep would be ready only to find out that it would not be ready until after hours. Worst customer service. Spent more time on hold waiting for an answer than it takes to put new tires on a vehicle. Ive had nothing but bad service there since I purchased my vehicle

Horrible dealer. I made an agreement to purchase a truck on a Saturday. I asked if they needed a down payment to hold the vehicle until I could pick it up on Tuesday, and the salesperson Wade assured me that would not be necessary. I obtained financing and had cashiers checks printed to the dealer name as specified by Wade. He then texted me Monday evening saying they had sold the truck and he was sorry, there is nothing they could do. Very poor business practice. They also charge ridiculous doc fees and a bogus anti theft fee to the tune of nearly $800.00. Do your research and buy somewhere else.

Me, my mom, and my daughter went to just look at cars. I ended up getting the car that had all the features I was hoping for! We had Dale and he was amazing and so helpful! 10/10 recommend and next time I need a car I will definitely be coming back!

This dealership practices in sales deception. Prior to driving 86 miles to the dealership we had conversation about not having trade-in vehicle would any additional discount be given. Per Debra Moores response your presence would be more empowering to negotiate no trade-in discount come in test drive before the deal. Upon arrival and after test drive the real truth was disclosed no additional discount with no trade-in. Most disappointing experience with the dealership. Then the lies and twisted versions of the truth got even more twisted.Thank you Portage Chrysler Dodge Jeep for wasting my time.

So my truck had to go back in for repair 36 hours after it was returned due to a leaking valve gasket and broken dip stick. I can only hope the repair is as promised. This is the 13th week since the original call. I filed my second formal complaint with Chrysler.The engine oil was not changed after repair. After a broken valve spring the oil should be replaced due to wash by in the cylinder, hence gas entering the oil and leaning it to the point that premature engine wear is possible. If the oil is not changed during this service, I will be contacting the better business bureau and will be communicating on any and all social media platforms that I belong to.I love the product and I try to keep my business local. This poor performance has left me no option but to reconsider continuing business with Portage Chrysler Ford. Steve in service is detrimental to the business. Dishonesty should not be part of Portage Chrysler standard operating procedures. I am fearful of the life of my engine as it nears the end of the warranty and I feel that an extension should be granted due to the unprofessional quality of repair and customer service I have received.

He made sure to get the truck looked over and had everything fixed before even continuing with the sale. He will make sure that any vehicle you choose would be safe enough for his own grandma to drive. My son Jim bought an F150 from Portage Ford a week ago, and his experience was so good that I decided to check Portage Ford out for myself.I ended up buying an F150 myself, and I have to admit that I am 65 years old, and I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime. This was by far the best dealer experience that I have ever had. From John, our salesman, right up to Tom, the general manager who stopped in to make sure our purchase going well.

The service department on a Saturday had the friendliest staff, everyone was smiling and despite the weather (not so nice I might add) seemed to be happy to be at work willing to help. I had a series of really bad events on my newer Ford and everyone here was so willing to help me get back on the road again so my visit home was not interrupted! I would take my vehicle in anytime. The parts department was awesome, service desk and all the technicians were incredible and even some of the sales staff stopped in to say hello. Great job Portage Ford.

Look online at their website for better pricing than what they will tell you. The online price will even be better than the sticker hanging from the mirror that youll probably find under the seat.Be sure to have plenty of time because if theyre busy the person who is helping you has to get an okay from the manager on the price first and theres only one or two of those.Half of the people that are there on any given day dont actually work at that dealership, and it doesnt have that Hometown feel.Bought my new car from a different dealer.
