Bought a used car from Castle Mitsubishi. It was a pleasant experience. Friendly service. Our Salesman was Tony and he made the whole car buying experience very easy and quick. We couldnt have been treated any better. If looking for a car go give this dealer a chance to help you find what you are looking for.

Terrible customer service. My husband, my self( being 6 months pregnant) and our 2 small boys, looked around the lot alone for the better part of 20 minutes while a group of salesman stood outside talking and having a good time. We found a vehicle we were interested in and decided to go in and check pricing. As soon as we walked in we were directly asked if we were there to see someone specific. As my husband asked the pricing of the vehicle another older man stated very rudely to make it quick because we close in 30 minutes. We had no intention on holding anyone over closing. We would have happily come back in the morning when they opened if the price was right, unfortunately for them my husband and I will go elsewhere to purchase our new family car because people are uneducated on how to appropriately behave while working in customer service.

Was in need of roadside assistance. Had a fat tire that I could not get off the bolts. The rim was seized on tight. I needed a hammer to pop it loose. State farm sent my roadside claim to LONE AUTO GROUP LLC. and they sent a technician out to give me a hand. Long story short, MAKE SURE YOU KEEP ESSENTIAL ROAD TOOLS WITH YOU NO MATTER WHOS CAR YOUR ARE DRIVING and Thank you for the service.

Hard to rate this place. We spent more than an hour walking around and sitting in a 42k truck waiting for a salesperson. One never came. So we had to leave. Called later. A salesperson said he did not know much about that truck except the manager liked to drive it, and they were closing soon. I asked for someone to call me about purchasing it. No one ever did😒

They have really nice cars and prices. I called about a car and when I showed up they claimed it was sold. I live 10 mins down the road, and I have bought plenty of cars in the past it always take more than 10 mins. It was just sketchy to me.

Had a great experience here don’t have the best credit and I had 1000 put down and my salesman tony did great he was able to get me a 2011 Chevy impala and it was quick and easy I had my brother go down there after I did and he bought him self a 2017 truck so they will work with you if u have bad credit take my word on it plz they are just so awesome

Traded in my car for a more comfortable family suv last year, its been almost a year and no problems with my 16 Chevy Equinox. Good prices and friendly employees. Glad I came here instead of lugging out to Merrillville being harassed and rushed. I would recommend them to anyone.

I dont believe foreign cars should be sold in America it hurts our economy theres like 30 something foreign car makers to 3 big American companies which is just terrible but if I did look for a Subaru Id strongly recommend them the guys here were very courteous, friendly and spent all day trying to help me find another truck it is a very nice dealership I had a great experience here!I would recommend Castle to my friends and family👨👦👧👩👴👵.

Im sure many people Ive had good experiences at Castle Subaru. I see Castle Subaru stickers all over town, so they must sell a lot of cars. My experience may not be typical, however I didnt think my experience was particularly good when I tried to buy a used Subaru about 2 months ago. I felt there was a bit of dishonesty, a really trying to get me up to a very higher price, only then to say well maybe we can offer the car to you at a lower price. The vehicle I wanted to buy desperately needed new tires, and they wouldnt even consider that in the price. It was a bit higher than KBB, but then again if its the vehicle you want the price is not the end of the world. My experience once again may have not been typical, but it was not that great. I would quickly say again many people do buy from Castle Subaru in Portage Indiana, so maybe I just had a not as good as I would like it experience. I did not buy there

Recently, I purchased a Chrysler Pacifica 2107 from Castle in Portage Indiana. USAA, a company that represents veterans.My Sales Representative, Frank Salinas, seemed uninterested in selling me a car. He began by asking me several times if I realized I would need good credit to buy a car. It was bad enough that I had to wait for 3 1/2 hours before someone presented me with a contract to sign. But, I was also treated with complete disrespect from another employee named David Spudic who attempted to sell me a warranty. When I took the time to read the warranty, David immediately snatched it out of my hand. When I told him that I had planned to consult USAA about the warranty fees, David immediately called me stupid for thinking about passing on the deal that I was being offered and informed me that he was “tired of hearing about USAA. I was then asked to extend my financing to 72 months. When I informed him that I wanted to keep my financing at 60 months, Keith called me silly for wanting to pay more money and pretended to call the finance company to recommend that my loan rates be raised because the dealership wasn’t making enough money off the deal. When that tactic didn’t make me change my mind, David continued to be unprofessional by calling me “selfish” for not helping him make more money. I did not respond just so I could finish the deal and leave. As I signed my contract and put on my coat, David stated, “It’s not too late to change your mind ‘cause the finance company will see that you didn’t get the warranty and did not extend your financing to 72 months and they are going to raise your rates.” I shook his hand and walked out the office. Everyone customer who bought a car that day (during my 3.5-hour wait) received a siren and the whole office clapped and congratulated them. When I walked out David got on the bullhorn and shouted: “Get her out of here.”In my lifetime, I have purchased several cars and have never experienced such unprofessional, unscrupulous, and demeaning behavior from a sales representative. Had it not been for the cost of the vehicle and for USAA’s support throughout the process, I would have immediately walked out. Other customers and combat veterans like me should not be referred to this dealership by USAA and will inform USAA of my horrible experience.
