I went to have work done on my truck. While I was there, my wife decided to buy tires for it. I wanted 35s, so we asked the manager, Matt, if they would fit my Silverado. He said they would. When they came in, they did NOT fit. Also, the mechanic messed up the work that we were there for in the first place. They offered to fix the whole issue, since it was their fault, by putting a lift onto the truck. It had 2 leveling kits totalling 5 to 6 inches. We were told it would be a $1000 Rough Country lift kit, and would be roughly the same height and would fix the tire issues. The $1000 kit is a 6 inch lift. The mechanic was supposed to replace the upper control arms and he put a new set of the SAME ONES it had on it. The kit should have fixed all issues. They installed a 3.5 inch lift. Didnt give my leveling kit back (which I asked for twice). I got A PART of it back later. Matt is rude and dishonest and to top it off, he refuses to fix 2 issues I have from parts that are under warranty from Belle Tire! Dont even come at me with customer service, because David (a CS manager) is buddies with Matt, so that is a dead end. David is biased against me because he is friends with Matt, so Im automatically wrong and Matt is right no matter what the evidence shows. Multiple trips to 2 different locations and I STILL HAVE ISSUES with my truck. Do not waste your time or money on this place. If I could, I would give them -5 stars.

The store manager Matt went above and beyond to make my experience a positive one. I have had issues with my local Belle Tire and will now drive 40+ minutes to have Matt and his crew take care of my escape. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!

Made appointment and paid for tires yesterday ahead of time. Arrived at my designated time and promptly waited three hours for new tires to be installed. AND as it turns out, at one hundred dollars more than a nearby competitor. Disappointing and dont go on a weekend!!

I was at a dealership getting an oil change and they strongly recommended I replace my tires. I called Belle Tire and spoke with Matt, he gave me a recommendation for better tires at a better price so I paid for my oil change and took my vehicle to Belle Tire. I got a great set of tires, alignment, warranties, and of course great customer service all for less than the dealerships quote for just tires! Thankful for Matt and the Belle Tire team!

Had one of my taillights go out on my vehicle so I stopped by Belle Tire to get it fixed. I like the fact that it’s first come first serve so I didn’t have to worry about making an appointment and driving around too long with a broken taillight. They were able to get me in right away and it didn’t take long at all. They even noticed one of the other bulbs were out and they fixed that one too. The price was very reasonable.

Ive bought at least 6 sets of tires here. Best deals are on sale brands with manufacturers rebate. The free rotation is nice but I always find its a long wait even with an appointment. Sales people are friendly and knowledgeable. Waiting area is comfortable.

Consumers, beware! They way over quoted me for the part I needed. I knew how much it was before going in, and when I asked why it was so much, I kept being told he didnt write it up. He did finally ask someone, but the answers were vague. They doubled the price and had no real reason. I went to Harold Zeigler and saved $400.

I had an issue with my drain plug from the last time that my oil was changed and they fixed it with no argument. That was a big relief to me. No stress. I know that things happen but they handled it very professionally.

I gave this an okay because my experience could have been a lot better. My daughter bent her rim after her tire blew, we brought in the vehicle using the spare. They thought they could possibly save the Rim but once they seen it there wasnt a way to salvage it so lucky I had another vehicle with the same size rim but different size tires. My daughter purchased a tire to put on my rim but they threw away my tire. They tried to tell me that the tires were from 2012. I didnt even buy the vehicle until November of 2015 and the tires until July of 2018. All of my vehicles have been maintained, including regularly tire rotation when being serviced. These tires only had 7,000 miles of use to the 60,00 miles and 5 years warranty. I rated them in the middle because, after many disappointing discussions, they finally refunded my daughter for her tire (not the labor). Maybe you may have a better experience than we did. I can assure you we had explained and were reassured I would get my tire back upon the completion of the repair. However I can say Im not as upset as I was when it happened, we all make mistakes, I just wouldnt have been so upset if I hadnt been talked down to and had to prove the purchase of my tires. Good luck if you decide to go to this particular location. I have never had this type of situation at the location on Gull Road, they have always been respectful and helpful.

The staff is professional and trustworthy. They are understaffed and are working their hearts out, and I sat there for a few hours on 9/10/21 waiting for my car, and during that time, about every 4th person who came in was confrontational and rude to the desk staff. They handled it in a calm and professional manner that was quite impressive.At one point, a person came in who was genuinely filled with rage and was blaming them for his flat tire. He was screaming at the manager and calling him and his staff terrible names. I was actually frightened by this level of anger, but the manager handled it beautifully.Be kind to your service people, people! And use this store. They are very good.

Hats off to the team at this location. Emilio was great to work with. My wife got a flat late in the afternoon and I brought it in 50 minutes before they were closing. I fully intended to pick it up the next morning and be short one vehicle in the meantime. Low and behold the team evaluated my flat to see if it was repairable and, when it wasn’t, proceeded to mount/ balance the other tire I had brought in, all before closing. What more could you ask for? Excellent service! I will be back when we need a new set of tires this fall.

Probably the best customer service and workmanship I have ever experienced, from the manager all the way to the mechanic who worked on the car.They did not seem to be in a hurry and took all the time needed to make sure that I understood what they were saying and doing.Will highly recommend this store/garage to everyone that I know.They are now my new go-to place.

Weve been dealing with squeaky brakes for 3 months. Weve brought our car back twice, once it sat there for a week, and the brakes still squeak. Employees at this location have been very unhelpful and rude-they keep blaming COVID and the parts manufacturer for the issues we are experiencing. All I know is that my brakes werent squeaking before I had Belle replace them and now they are. This is unfortunate because Ive take all my cars to Belle for several decades for tires and brakes. I wont ever come back.

Let me start by saying my younger brother owns a mechanic shop in Mississippi and is as honest as they come.He and I worked on my van before i drove it back to Michigan this Spring. Everything in the front end was tight/within spec.Fast forward four months and I notice that my front tires are wearing unevenly. Naturally i think alignment, so I head over to Belle Tire. They suggested i come back first thing the next day. So I did.They had my van on the rack for a good hour, then proceeded to tell me that they could not align the vehicle until I had about $2000 worth of work done on ball joints, tie rod ends, etc.I proceeded to go to two other reputable Kalamazoo/Portage alignment shops and they both told me that everything is tight, but the alignment is a mile off.Thanks Belle Tire for wasting my time, lying to me about what I need, and turning down alignment work unless i bought unnecessary partsStay away from this place. Theyre out to take your money on parts that dont need replacing

This bell tire is a joke. They try to get a buck out of you every time. I had a alignment done by them with a one year warranty. Then later on had some parts changed by a shop and came back to get a alignment. Was told I needed a 100$ kit. I declined and took it to the one on Ireland rd and they took care of everything without a charge. Don’t waste ur time here. Their a joke.

The work is done well and up to par but they move slower than a paraplegic with ankle weights and no wheelchair, Ricky Berwick couldve busted that out in less than an hour. I had a 9 30 appointment arrived and was told ill be at the front of the que, two hours later I was told my appointment was actually for 11 30, real nice job there, then finally more than an hour later I could take my car home. Your employees have no work ethic, they put cars together right but over 3 hours for a simple tire change Is unacceptable. a person who knows nothing about cars could learn how to change a tire and then change all 4 in the time it took them to do 2.

The person who helped me at the counter was very sweet. They took my keys after I walked in. I thought I had a flat tire and was ready to get a new tire. They checked everything out and didnt even charge me! The workers were all very honest and you could tell that safety was their first priority. I was in and out as quickly as I could have been. I will return there next time I need help with my vehicle!

Once again Bell Tire has impressed me on the service that I receive from them. I had been with Discount Tires for many years but, about 6 years ago I purchased 4 tires from them and after many attempts and replacements they could not get my tires to stay in balance. I can say that they did really try but, it was the tire brand...starts with a V. they were the real problem. So, I switched to Continental tires and they still could not get them balanced right. I decided to go to Bell Tire and I spoke to Chad. He said that they had the best equipment and would make sure the tires were balanced correctly.Well, he balanced all 4 tires and he told me to give this a try and he said this is on us ..no charge. Wow, I was amazed at that and after driving my car for a while I found that the tires were balanced perfectly. I called back and told him how much I appreciated what he did and that he just won over a new customer. I have taken both of my cars to him for around 6 years now and have always been happy and satisfied with the service just as i was with this last tire service repair...great job guys. This was the first time I had ever been to Belle Tire and I was not disappointed. I called to make an appointment to purchase new tires and brakes. I spoke with Matt who was very helpful and courteous. He was able to get me in that day, surprisingly since it was a Saturday. It took a while for the job to be done but I was expecting that. Matt kept me informed of what they were finding with the brakes and the cost of the repairs so there were no surprises when it came time to pay. Once the job was finished he went over everything that was done to my car, the costs and how to submit the rebates. Love the new tires. I have a much smoother drive and the brakes are working much better than before. Would definitely recommend Belle Tire.

If I could give a negative star I would, very unhappy with the service. I had my vehicle in for an alignment, diagnostic, and tire reseals. All tires are reading different tire pressures. I was told it would take an hour and half to a few hours, after me having to call twice the following day, I was told I could come get it. Arrived one hour later to my vehicles window being down and unlocked. Waited 20 minutes inside the lobby before I was acknowledged. While I was inside of their facility one customers tire was dropped off and given to another customer. Another customer has been there since noon waiting on an alignment and only received an alignment after her husband called repeatedly. There was also another customer who had an appointment at 3 pm to get tires balanced and mounted and it took 4 hours. The shop was very unorganized and Chad was extremely rude while dealing with customers.

Went in for new tires. Took a wk to get. And when they put them on I was told I needed $1300 in front end work. Went and got 2nd opinion. Turned out had one bad ball joint not $1300 @ all. Would say get 2nd opinion to be sure.

I can always count on Chad and his guys always take care of our vehicle. Weve been going here for the past few years, with many different types of vehicles, from Lifted Jeeps with over sized tires to our most recent and way more Family friendly vehicle the Buick Rendezvous. Went in for four all season tires. Told Chad, the store manager, what I was looking for in a tire, but that I needed them today. He showed me several variety of tires, as well as the cost and ratings, and we settled on the brand. In just one hour, I was in and out, just like that. He was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and pleasant to speak to. I always take my cars to this Belle Tire store, and not once in the last 11 years have I ever been dissatisfied with the product, service, or even the cleanliness of the store. Ill keep coming back for those great prices and service each, and every time!

I had a truly great customer service experience this week. A shout-out to Matt behind the counter who somehow successfully projected a calm and cool demeanor in spite of a steady flow of demanding customers and a steady hum of activity in the shop behind him. I enjoyed watching him during my very short wait for a tire rotation and appreciated seeing him professionally navigate that critical space between the customer and the shop. Went in to get 4 tires and oil change. Needed some extra stuff done to make my truck safe on the roads for my kids. They did a excellent job and timely job. I appreciate all they did.

After giving the symptoms to the guy behind the counter he went to talk to the mechanic. All he said was the year make and model and the mechanic knew what the problem was before even looking at the van. That in its self made the wife and I feel better about the situation. Best part was we got the van back the NEXT day and it was like new again. They even cleaned out the fuel system to prevent the issue from happening again. All in all the wife is happy to get her baby back and not having to worry about it again. Happy wife happy life 😉

They fixed my tire which was losing air, apparently it had an item lodged between the rim. The guy with hat on the picture is rude, and didnt even greeted anyone who walked in, including me, when I asked him something he rolled his eyes as if I was interrupting/bothering him. The other gentlemen was much nicer.

Great experience, the manager said he would be any price quote that I was able to get what he did and I signed up for the benefits for Belle Tire and he also accepted my $40 off coupons. By the end I was able to get four brand new tires for about $400 including the installation and I think thats a great price. Thank you so much!

The manager at Belle Tire Portage is a man of integrity. When some warranty work needed to be done, ha acted fast and efficiently to correct the problem.

I needed help putting air in my tires.it may not seem like a big deal.but I Hate to ask for help! the gentleman that did assist me was SO SO NICE that I now know where I will by my next set of tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They went above and beyond. I had an appointment at a different belle tire that had to do an emergency shut down. Assuming it was covid related. I called these guys at 3:30 pm and told them my situation. All though they where already booked out for the day they told me to bring my truck in for an alignment and they’d get me taken care of. Once I got there they where very apologetic. Although I had to wait more than an hour for my truck to be aligned these guys stayed late and kept there word and got it done that day. Normally I go to the belle tire that I scheduled my appointment through. But I will definitely be going to portage belle tire for now on out on westnedge. Thanks again guys. The guys here act like a bunch of toddlers. They don’t know how to do their jobs or could just not give a sh!t less about doing it right because they’ll get paid for you to come back and do it all over again. Absolutely unprofessional, inconsistent, and overall just a bad place. The only person here that is worth your time is Jerom.

Horrible service, you can get a appointment but it means nothing here. Its basically a joke. Appointment means we might take your car back within 2 hrs maybe. This bell tire did not used to be that way. I would suggest going elsewhere if you dont want to wait 6 hrs just to have a set of winter and summer tires switched out. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

Yikes. They refused to let me make an appointment to patch a flat, and they couldnt tell me how long I would need to wait. I chanced it because of the good reviews, but when it started to look like a three hour wait, I couldnt stay. They were polite, but this is not a good place to get a quick fix for a simple task.

Don’t even think to go there for inspection. I took my car for inspection because i had some knocking noise the michanic told me that my car needs 4 new struts. I ignored him and took it to another michanic i found there is nothing wrong with the struts only changed new tie rods and both sides and noise disappear. Don’t waste your 25 dollars in this place.

Came in at 8am, said it would take 90 minutes to 2 hours. Its took 3 hours and 45 minutes to fix a small leak in my tire. I strongly recommend anyone that has work done here drop it off and pick it up later, if you have that option!!!! At least it was free to fix the leak. I should have went to Discount Tire, I tried to support a Michigan company like Belle Tire. Need to do a better job gauging time.

We were headed to Bay City traveling from Indiana and our tire blew on I94. I called Belle to see if they had a replacement in stock and the first question Matt asked was if were all OK! We ran the tire into the shop, which was slammed with other customers, but he took us right in. The tire wasn’t able to be repaired but he did have 1 tire in stock that fit my rim & they stayed past closing to repair it. Awesome customer service!! We will be going to Belle Tire at home from now on. Thank you SO much for everything!

Service was great since I had an emergency flat tire repair within 20 minutes since Belle tire on westenage in portage was booked out two weeks, I was honored that I could have the flat repaired so quickly. The waiting room was clean and had vending machines if you need something to eat or drink.Definitely a place to go for your next tire purchase because they know tires.

While tires are not ever cheap anywhere, I got a very fair deal at Belle tire, excellent service and information from Javier. And in this time of social distancing, this facility was clean enough to impress an old retired nurse. My late husband purchased two sets of tires there since 2012 for different vehicles and I can say I think they are the best in this area. And I appreciate that they dont try to sell me things I DONT need just because Im an old woman: all you single ladies reading this know what I am saying.

Hard to recommend, my car spent 45 minutes in the shop. So not to bad.However it took an extra hour and 15 minutes for them to STILL NOT contact me only to ask if i want a alignment too... No thanks.

I took my car to Belle Tire to get my brakes done and get an oil change. I got great friendly service and the work was done as I wished with very reasonable pricing. I have been going to this store for nearly 20 years and I am very pleased with them.

Had the worst (and longest) experience just trying to get a leaking tire fixed. They clearly take on too many jobs without the ability to manage all the work. Some communication would have helped the situation but they completely failed at that too.

They got my car in early, did great work in a timely matter. Fair pricing. Highly recommend belle tire.

Decided to buy tires from them for my company car! Never again! The actual install went ok until I drove off and my tire pressure warning light was on. Drove back and talked with Matt and his exact words were trust me it will go off within 15 minutes of driving. Well that never happened! The next day while driving to Battle Creek I called and he said to bring it in and he will fix it or stop by the Belle Tire in Battle Creek which I did. The tech there said that the passenger side rear sensor must of been broken while installing the tire which meant that the Portage location. never reset the sensors in the first place. “Trust me” they don’t check their work. So I called and Matt said to bring it in and they will take care of it. Said it would take 30-60 minutes. Dropped it off and walked over to a nearby store to kill some time and 90 minutes had passed so I walked back over and my car was sitting outside supposedly done. I asked why nobody called to say it was done and the excuse was Matt went to get a haircut and the other guy didn’t have my phone number. All he had to was look on the worksheet and call. Got back in my car and yes the light was off but the tire pressure monitor gauge in the car was not reading the tire pressure on the tires. Trust me they still didn’t get it right. Matt had to come out and do whatever they do to plug in the car to get it to reset. How can you keep screwing up time after time without checking your work before you hand it off to the customer. Last but not least 3 of the tires are at 40 psi and one at the correct 35psi. Can’t even get that right. Never ever again will they see and more of my business!!

Belle tire was to fix a bolt on my car and while doing so broke my plate. After discussion the worker said “i guess I’ll just eat that labor and cost”. After THEY broke it. Well they told me i could bring the car back Wednesday for them to fix the plate and it would be done by the end of the day. I dropped the car off at 8a on Wednesday. Thursday afternoon comes around and i called to ask for an update, they told me they didn’t even have the part in. I asked them why they told me it would be done if that was the case, they said they were “hoping it would be in”. I asked why no one called for the update and he said “my bad”. Here it is Saturday at 2pm and still haven’t heard from them. This is the worse customer service with this agency i have ever experienced and the workers name is Travis.
