This Safeway location has a top notch floral and bakery department. 💐🌹🌼The flowers are fresh and the arrangements are thoughtful. In the bakery you will find a huge selection of beautiful cakes. 🎂🍰🧁For breakfast there are hot and fresh burritos if you make it in in time. 🌯😁

This is one of my favorite Safeways in all of phoenix. They have a great hot food section, deli, bakery. Theyre pre-made sushi is always pretty good. They have quite a large wine and alcohol section. The store is always very clean and very well stocked. I can usually find any kind of cheese that I want here as well as pre-made salads and appetizers

Love Phoenix because they have Safeway. I grew up with a Safeway down the street but Safeway no more in So Cal. Phoenix has a great selection of excellent Safeways. I especially like the deli food

I shop here every single day and love the staff. I would give the grocery store a 5/5 any day of the week. The reason behind my one star review is that I got a pain killer prescription filled at the pharmacy, and when I went home and counted the pills-I was missing one!!! I called them and they are looking into it...I know 100% without any shadow of doubt that I didnt take the missing pill, so someone in that pharmacy either did maliciously or did by accident. Either way, they need to have a better accounting system with tighter controls because they should have caught that in the pill count very easily. Grocery store itself is a 10/10, with phenomenal staff. I feel bad writing this review, but felt it necessary because there are probably other people like me that this has happened to.

Just a grocery store. Not much to tell. Give it 5 stars because Ive been there twice and didnt have to wait in long lines. 😊

I have been going to this Safeway since 2006, and I have yet to find one better. The deli counter has incredibly friendly staff members, who are not only pleasant to work with, but they remember their customers by face and name. Drop by and get a sandwich or a breakfast burrito. You wont regret it.

I just needed some fix a flat for my car tire which only had 8 lbs of air in it. Yet the first person i spoke to had no idea what i was asking for and replied that they didnt have any. Then i saw the manager of the store, he sent me to the wrong row but he did say they had it. So my persistence paid off. I found it on my own. It worked too!!! I went to the circle k gas station and put air in my tire along with the fix a flat and my tire is still holding air!!!!!

I visit Starbucks every morning (Monday thru Friday) and the ladies there are so awesome. It so nice to see them interact with the customers. They know everyone and remember the coffee orders for their regular customer. Thank you so much for all you do.

They have everything you need or want. The staff is really helpful. Its a huge store! Besides walking into the closed door and spilling my macaroni salad... The experience was fantastic. Prices and staff are incredible.

I have been shopping at this store for years. I have never had a problem whatsoever other than some of the meat pricing not matching the advertisement. A couple of weeks ago I had a cashier named Kim who was beyond insane. Because my cart was loaded with TP, Paper Towels and groceries she wanted me to get another cart. Unfortunately I was by myself and wouldnt be able to walk the two carts out as she said the baggage helpers were all busy. Instead of further arguing with her Jose a bagger who said no worries he would help me grabbed another cart (which by the way we didnt need). Kim continued to argue with me and when I asked her to please hurry this up (because I wanted out of this situation asap) she became offended and threw several of my items down the conveyor belt towards Jose. She then leaves the register to go tell someone at customer service. Needless to say the people in line behind me who she had told I was being mean to her where waiting for her to get back to the register. I was just waiting on my receipt to leave. Once out of the store Jose said shes been on him all week and shes that way and please go speak to a manager about her which I did. I was offered a $25 gift card but refused as I have no intentions of ever frequenting that store again. Just beware, if you have a cashier named Kim....run!!! Shes totally unaware of her behavior.

Friendly staff. A little pricier than others (but its closest to me) so get onto their just for u & try to remember to go online (or app) & clip coupons the day you go (a lot are only for the day).

This location is definitely the better one in the Phoenix area. Seems more upscale and it has a pharmacy. The other one in Indian School doesnt.The drawbacks at this location are very limited parking, no cart corrals (which means carts all over the parking lot) and no self checkout lanes.

Really fancy Safeway and tap to pay at self check out. They had numerous items that frys didnt, so Im going back again for those. Clean inside, pretty quiet late evening but prices are still higher than frys.

We love coming to this the store. The store is very clean, staff is great and always friendly and helpful. They seem to have a better quality selections of food here for some reason. This is the only grocery store we go to now. Lots of handicap parking and handicap access. The staff is out front with the buggys making sure they are cleaned.

One of the better Safeways ( 32th & camelback). More selection and better looking produce and meats. Cashier was friendly and helpful. Completely the opposite from the one on 7th Ave and Osborn. Where they are rude and dont keep the food rotated.

The store is clean and organized. The employees of every department are helpful and suggestive. Prices are decent and product availability is great. Parking at times, can be challenging but doable.

This store is always clean and well-lit, wide enough aisles, and everybody was wearing a mask. I didnt shop for a lot, only one bag full, but it was a great experience. I will be back often because I live very nearby.

I have been shopping at this location for a while now and it is a good location with helpful employees! The issue with this store is that every single time that you go there, prices at the registered are not the ones advertised in the store or when using coupons or deals. This has happened almost every single time I shop at this store. Aisle says one price but is not the one that shows after paying. Coupons that read on registered but are not applied on the system and you pay full price even it was on discount with safeway card. This has been the case for many products in store and I just do not think is right that the store pricing strategy changes people purchasing behavior based on lower but untruthful prices. This is a pattern. I have been shopping here for a year constantly and this is happening until today. This could be happening to several people in a day and with a multiplier of many products offered with price reductions, we can see this location taking in thousands of dollars like this. I do not agree with this and they should fix this. The amount of discount is little so a person just goes along but in a busy store like this one this could happen to many people.

This is a very clean Safeway. The employees are pleasant and I have no problem with the drudgery of shopping for food at this location.

Went to try this location out since I was far from my usual safeway. I am not sure what is going on but they sure need to fix their coupons and all that. I certainly paid way more than I should have if their coupons which tell people to use for a discount totally do not work. I called to know what was going on but looks like their employees do not care at all about this.

Deli staff extremely friendly. Good seafood selection at the butcher, I see the case being cleaned and rotated weekly! Great with helping in size and cut depending on occasion or amount if people being served. Now has a sanitization expert cleaning the store all day long, safety shields at check out, and cart cleaning and sanitization outside

Love love love this store!! I think they scouted out the most friendly people and put them all in one store. This store is always stocked with all the items I need and want. The gentleman in the meat department always willing to give you cooking tips, and help you make the correct decisions on what cut of meat will suit your needs the best. This store is always clean. The baked goods and deli foods are always delicious. Produce is always fresh and beautiful, same with the floral department. A definite one stop shop for any gathering.
