Great variety/selection, but whats the point of having a business that is catered to serving black people and sells products specifically targeted to black people if your employees/managers/owners whoever are going to feel the need to follow you around in the store. If youre worried black people steal, dont start a business where you know well shop.

Decent beauty supply. Id recommend, nice staff. Nothing close to what we have in NY & Chicago but it will definitely have what you need. Prices are kinda high. But its the desert 🏜😕 and soooooooooo, things seem to be a bit overpriced.

The fact that you Google for Black owned beauty supply stores in Phoenix and this other owned supply store where people hover over you and follow you through the store is to say the least ridiculous. All of these fake, glowing reviews. SMH

Don’t mind coming here as it is the closest store to my home. I am greeted , but I am also followed and constantly asked if I need help. I do believe that if I needed “help” after first saying no I would ask. I come here too much to be treated like a thief, the craziest part is I never even wear a purse when I come. I can’t stay on an aisle for more than 5 minutes in one place without looking suspicious lol. The nasty attitudes from the employees here would need a review of its own. Two stars for the quality of the merchandise.

I love the selection here. But tell me why there were so many store associates walking around following me as if i was going to steal products & no one in my last visit could be bothered to acctually help me as they were all too busy talking to each other. I spent several hundred dollars here at least every other week to do my hair & my sister is a hair stylist & does weaves, braids, Etc.. So i am always in purchasing for us both!Great variety & selection of products!Terrible customer service at times. Needs improvement!

The young female was very kind and helpful. Her manager (the older woman) can learn customer service from her staff. The selection was small but had exactly what I needed. I love that they had bright colors in braiding hair. The price was a bit higher than other hair stores but they carried what I needed when the other store didnt.

I felt like I was back in my hometown. Im from Atlanta where there are fully stocked hair supply stores on every corner. Ive been to quite a few since Ive moved to Arizona and this is by far the best one. They had a wide variety of products and they were all in stock. There was also a good selection of hair for all of your beauty needs. This will definitely be my go to spot.

I would have gave this place 5 stars... they have a great selection of hair/wigs and everything else... but the customer service is wack. They will stand at the front of the store and talk to each other, while ignoring customers. They let you stand at the wig counter forever and never ask if you need assistance. And then when they do assist they act like they don’t want to.. and have an attitude. It’s unfortunate because the store is great..

Great location, I am so happy that they moved into the strip with the Frys. Now you can pick groceries and hair products in the same parking lot. The store associates are always happy and ready to help. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and make great recommendations!

I went to this store today. It was such an experience. 3 beautiful girls greeted me when I entered. They offered to help. To be honest, when I go to a beauty supply store its NEVER anyone in the store that actually wears weave no do they have any idea what we really need. But this place made me so happy because the girls in there knew what they were talking about & they were so kind. The only reason No 5 stars is because they didnt have the hair I was looking for but the girls did help me find something simular. Great affordable options.... Thank you

I have been coming to this store since it first opened, when the mom was behind the counter & the dad in the back and the boys were little!I love this store!Maybe bc its family owned and they are literally like extended family, but I always come here. John there is full of knowledge, and vey gracious. Dominique another employee helped me in his absence and I don’t mind making the drive to come there and pick up items needed for my hairdresser in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.

They have the best selection of African American products. They need more locations, preferably in the West Valley

Do not purchase a wig from there. They are expensive and cheaply made. The thing matted up so badly it was like glued dreds. The shedding was horrible and left bald spots. The haircare products are more expensive.than other Beauty supply stores that cater to Black hair carie. Shop at your own risk. This is in refernce to the store just off Central and Basline, only.

Although they have numerous items for many hair colors they dont have a selection for women who have salt & pepper/gray hair. IE wigs & hair pieces etc.

Stopped by here to check out their selection and prices after having just left the other location. The two girls, cant call them ladies because they didnt act as such were initially helpful and friendly towards me. I was offered assistance immediately and they even checked to see if i needed anything in particular. I rate them low for their demeanor towards an older accented woman who came to return a wig. She asked for the manager whom initially refused to come from the back to talk to her, opting instead to play telephone through one of the girls. When he did move his butt to talk to his customer the situation escalated towards a vow from the woman to never shop there again. This is where it became offensive. These girls start loudly bad mouthing the woman, saying , maybe her big head split the wig and , go on take her @ss to mid k with all that. Just childish and petty .
