Very friendly staff... not pushy... and VERY helpful.. Best car buying experience Ive had in a long time

Purchased a 2015 silverado from your dealership in March. It has been in your garage with countless electrical issues since then. It has been in for service at least once to twice a month. Recently it was in for a week at which time the vehicle had multiple issues. On a previous visit I was told the cause of my issues was the after market heated seats. That turned out to be incorrect and was not the cause. During my recent visit it was determined to be a faulty gauge cluster and programming issue. Now I no longer have the heated seats that were a functioning part of the equipment when i purchased the vehicle. Since the heated seats were not the issue then i felt they should have been fixed properly or some kind of compensation made for the loss of this feature. I have currently been driving the vehicle for a week since the recent repair and I am still uncertain that the issue has been fully resolved.On a side note the Service manager Kevin was excellent in taking care of this to the best of his abilities. I feel that he is severely hampered by the dealerships lack of personnel. I believe that if he had enough mechanics then these issues might have been solved sooner.

Tim and “Stretch” were very professional, but also made us feel as though we were family from the minute we walked through the door. I’ve even received a courtesy call already. As a previous salesperson, I feel McClinton has their sales approach set up as a top notch approach. It was a seamless, detailed transaction. Tim gave us a complete bumper to bumper walk around explaining every feature and answered our questions thoroughly. We will definitely be recommending their dealership to others. My experience with the service department has always been very good. However, the service scheduling via the webpage needs a lot of work and rethought out. That part is not satisfactory at all.

After waiting more than two hours to see if I was approved for financing I told the salesman I could not wait any longer. Was told if I left I could lose out on the truck I wanted. I explained that I could not stay any longer and if I was approved it was a done deal. Was told if I left that I needed to put a deposit down on it so it wasnt sold to someone else?? I just spent more than two hours waiting! What difference does it make if Im sitting in their office or at my house?? If approved I was taking it. I know another salesman was trying to sell the same truck and I believe I was getting the run around to see who got approved first. How can you sell something out from someone when they have been waiting that long?? Total waste of my time. Very shady way of doing business

I stopped in a few weeks ago to look at a 2017 Silverado. My husband has been looking for with low mileage and a great price.He thought this one could be it. It was my first visit to McClinton Chevrolet. Ed MooseHaislop greeted me, he was very nice and extremely helpful. The truck was perfect!Moose did everything right, he made it so easy for me purchase the truck. I had no appointment, I test drove the vehicle twice, went and picked up a check, he reviewed the truck history, pricing, warranty, showed me how to use the onstar and sirrus radio and had me in and out of finance...all in less than 2 hours. It was incredible, my husband didnt even have to go to the dealership. Scoff Morehead was great in finance too. We will be in soon to buy an extended warranty. Everything went fine except I thought they broke both my side mirrors. I had them folded in cause it was parked right beside the road and when I got it back they was really lose. They must’ve folded them back out manually. It’s a high country so it definitely has power fold mirrors. I hit the button a few times and got them back to working so all is good

Bought an SUV there a little over a month ago and its already having issues. Why bother calling not a single person will help you. They will pretend to care until they get that sale and that is where it stops.

I have bringing my Cruze for oil changes since the day I bought it from your lot. I have been so impressed with everyone there since day one. Mcclintons definitely has great people in every department!

You think you would be able to trust a dealer body shop but in reality they only want your money. I had to pay over $200 for someone to tell me what was wrong and they wanted to charge over $1,000 in parts. Took it to a local shop and paid $100 for the issue to be resolved AND it wasnt even what the dealer shop had said it was.

Very polite...my car was ready when promised...Kevin, Service Manager, kept in communication and was very informative. He also had my car cleaned inside and out, which was very appreciative after the snow and ice....detail shop did a great job in a very short period of time.

If I could give therm a less than zero rating I would for the uniquely terrible experience. I have bought many vehicles online and nothing like this ever happened. I was pre-approved with the down payment in the bank before contacting them, paid the deposit, and waited on them to to tell me how we would do the deal. They never even got me the different rates for finance companies which I requested, but chose GM without my permission. Obviously this was probably for their own personal benefit. When their GM financing was too stringent in their requirements, the sales manager abruptly cancelled the deal because he had other people to buy it and chose a local sale that was more profitable and easy. This sales manager also tried to blame me, saying we were not on time. We were waiting on them the entire time. It isnt the first time Ive met a shady, fast-talking car salesman, but after this I hope surely its the last. They take the cake! Crooked managers make crooked sales people. Go another direction and avoid the disappointment, hassle, and shenanigans of this company!

I recently purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu with a gorgeous arctic blue paint job. This is the newest car I have ever owned and could not be more pleased! John Whitlatch was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, and even the test drive was very comfortable without any interference or awkwardness from the sales team (which is not the positive experience I have had with other car lots). I drive to Charleston for work every week day so this was a very important and imperative purchase that Im glad I made with McClintons!

I found a car on their website that I was interested in seeing. I was told it was off site being detailed and I could see it the next day. While trying to get financing they sold the car. They should not advertise a car without it actually being on their lot! No form of apology or how can we make this right. I went up the street and purchased a similar car without any problems.

I’m unfamiliar with the amount of time these situations usually take to resolve but I felt that a month was a a bit long. Went in for tire rotation and oil change. They found a leaking seal on front axile and repaired it as well. Done in a timely manner.

I believe in staying with one mechanic. I always said fix anything you notice. Because Im keep my vehicles as long as possible. And I did that for years. I had an acceleration issue with my Avalanche and was told it is just a Chevy thing. I dont remember why I took it to McClinton the first time. But I mentioned the acceleration in passing. They said they would look at it. They fixed it and was a minor issue. They said my spark plug wires were brittle and should be replaced. My former mechanic should have done this. I am very happy with McClinton. They are now my mechanics.

I won’t buy anything from there after dealing with the service department holding my truck hostage for $100 bill for diagnostic test not covered under the powertrain warranty that I did not and would have not authorize! I guess it’s ether pay them or pay a lawyer’s office now.

It’s always a great experience when I shop at McClintons! Everyone is always helpful and not forceful. Enjoyed being able to test drive the vehicle as if it was my car for the day. They did an amazing job detailing my vehicle before I bought it, and financing was so easy! They did all the legwork between them and my bank! All I had to do was sign! It was also nice having someone show me all of the bells and whistles to my new car, and even helped set up my Bluetooth before I left the lot! Overall pleased and will definitely go back!

This place is trash. Called in to see a vehicle, they said it was in stock and set up a test drive, yet when I got there, they didnt have the truck nor did they offer any sort of apology. If I could vote them 0 ⭐ I would.
