I love this Zales! I got my engagement ring here and both our wedding bands. I went three different times for the engagement ring because I really wanted to make sure I made the right choice. They taught me so much about rings and I absolutely love my ring. I got in about once a month and get it cleaned and they are always happy to help.

My uncle bought my aunt a necklace here a couple years ago for a couple thousand. She later moved to Brazil & rarely wore it bc it cost so much & she was scared she’d get robbed… they lived in Rio. She went to get that bad boy appraised one day & found out it wasn’t worth spit.Bring your diamond testers or at least a magnet w you whilst shopping here. These people are SCAMMERS

The store manager is very unprofessional. He tried to sell me rings I didnt want. He was very arrogant and bragged about his 2k diamond white gold wedding ring he got at managers discount. When I said I didnt like a ring he said, I can understand that not being in your budget. I cannot believe in the days of coronavirus that there is customer service that behaves this way. In my opinion this man should be managing absolutely nothing. Ive never felt so disrespected when shopping for jewelry. Terrible experience that I wont forget.

I went in a week ago and talked to someone expressing my concerns there was nickel in my gold wedding band set. The lady I spoke to was condescending and rudely brushed me off saying it was an infection not the ring. I went to another jeweler and found out it did have nickel in it which caused an allergic reaction. I won’t be returning to this Zales again.

Awful service. I bought a ring beginning of January and it needed to be resized. They told me it would take 6 weeks to be done. I called to check on my ring and was told my ring was in 2 different places getting resized. Ended up having to get a new ring and send to a local jeweler to get resized. Did not end up getting my ring until mid March. The communication was disappointing as they never called or emailed me to give me updates. I probably had to call them over 15 times to figure out the status on my ring. The workers blamed each other for their lack of communication with me. It shows they only care about selling you something and then could care less how your service is afterwards. Would never recommend this jewelry store to friends or family.

Terrible customer service. Rude and absolutely disrespectful store manager. I was told when I ordered a ring it would be in by early December. It came in after Christmas and still has yet to be resized. I called and they said Jan 21st it would be done (Ive called numerous times and always received a different date). I purchased this on Nov 24th. The store manager has repeatedly lied about the time it would be done. He has been rude to every single person I know that has gone into his store. The rest of his employees arent much different. When I tried to explain I would like to cancel the ring the store manager constantly interrupted me and at one time denied saying the dates the ring would be in. In my opinion this man is not someone that is honest or trustworthy. My husband had to file a grievance just to have a return that was improperly applied to someone elses account just to be credited his money back. Its a shame you have to fight just be credited money that was never spent on services that were never rendered. We are still waiting on a return to be posted to our account for almost two months!!! He has hung up on my husband and myself. One morning a went in to speak with them and the store DID NOT OPEN THEIR GATES UNTIL A HALF HOUR AFTER THEY WERE OPENED WHILE ME AND MY DAUGHTER STOOD OUTSIDE THE GATE BEING IGNORED. THE SIGN CLEARLY STATED THE HOURS AND THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN OPEN. THERE IS NO ACCOUNTABILITY BY UPPER MANAGEMENT IN THIS STORE AND THEY DO NOT CARE TO HELP YOU PROCESS A RETURN. IN FACT THEY WILL PROCESS IT TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT AND DENY ANY WRONG DOING.

The store manager is rude and cannot process a return properly. I had to spend 3 hrs on the phone with the Zales Company and the bank. I had to file a discrepency to be refunded money for a ring I never possessed and I cancelled the order. I still am waiting on my money to be refunded to my account for the ring, but yet the warranty was refunded to my account.Update: 2 days later. Ive spent 5 hours on the phone with commenity bank and they found out this store refunded the ring to another account. Ive now had to file the discrepency w the bank and they proved it was the stores fault. The store now wont answer my calls and hangs up on me. I a manager at another local Zales to get help. Then I filed a grievance with Zales Corporation on the store manager at Oak Park Zales. This was not only 5 hours in the phone. I had the ring returned (without ever possessing it on Dec 1st) and the amount due is still on my statement January 14th. The store manager repeatedly has hung up on me and denied any wrong doing or even it being an accident. I would never recommend this store to anyone.Update: It is now Jan. 18th (almost 2 months since I cancelled the order) and not only has this still not been resolved it gets worse. Somehow there is now two accounts in my name (I never opened a second one). I never had a Zales Card and did not charge this purchase to the account I was refunded the ring amount too (the store manager charged this to my account and I asked for a refund as I had never possessed this ring and cancelled it). I have now received a statement with a refund to an account I havent ever used, but yet have a balance charged to my real account for a product I have never possessed. At this point I have spent over 10 hours on the phone in two weeks trying to get this resolved.UPDATE: JAN 22ND THE ISSUE IS THE WARRANTY FOR THIS RING WAS REFUNDED TO MY CURRENT ACCOUNT, SO WHY IS THE RING PURCHASE AMOUNT REFUNDED TO SOME ACCOUNT IN MY NAME WITH A ZERO BALANCE AND HOW COME AFTER TWO MONTHS AND 10 HOURS ON THE PHONE WHY CAN I NOT GET THIS FIXED?The Oak Park Zales has absolutely created me a tremendous amount of grief and stress. I hope nobody else ever experiences this when trying to purchase a gift for a loved one.

We bought our wedding rings at the Zales at Corbin Park. Due to Covid, the Corbin Park store was temporarily closed so we ended up going to Oak Park Mall. My husband’s ring had to be resized after the wedding. Our experience with the Oak Park store has been awful. They have sized his ring 2or 3 times and it still doesn’t fit. We are getting the ring back and taking it to the Corbin Park store where they have offered to exchange for a new ring and start over. I do not recommend this store but would definitely recommend you go see Joyce or Steve at the Zales at Corbin Park.

Ordered a ring on 6/1 to be delivered 6/25. Still hasn’t shipped with no updates. When I chatted I was told their vendor was closed and they don’t know when it will ship. Not sure how they don’t know when their vendors are closed. I understand nothing will be accurate with COVID, but after spending several hundred dollars, I would think I could get an estimated date of delivery.

I went into this store just wanting some small studs I wasnt greeted like the other caucasian guests that came in.The young lady looked me up and down and I felt like I was bothering her asking questions about the different earrings.Usually as a sales person you ask the customer if they would like to try something on or suggest a certain style...but no.she stood there tapping her fingers as if I was inconveniencing her. I decided to return my earrings just because I realized how rude and horrible the customer service was.will never go to Zales again

My now husband bought my engagement and wedding ring at Zales last year. When we took them in for resizing and soldering, their jewelers ruined my ring beyond repair. The band was too thin and pitting, a diamond on the side was shattered and they didnt even bother to clean or polish it. The sales associates didnt even attempt to right any of it when we picked it up. I took it to other jewelers in the area, all said the ring looked like it was 3+ years old and it was about 9 months old at this point. Zales told me they could fix it but it would take two months. In the 10 months I had the ring it had already been in Zales possession 3 of those months and every time it came back it looked worse than when we dropped it off. A wedding ring is supposed to last a lifetime, they did so much damage that it wouldnt have lasted more than another year. When I took the ring back the final time and demanded my money back, even the store manager agreed that the ring was not fixable. They did give us a full refund (which took almost 2 months) and that was the only plus to the whole situation.We took our money to Shane Co. much better customer service and quality.

I waited for 20 minutes for this location to open today. It clearly states on the Zales website and on Google that they open at 10am. Granted I was there right at 10am but I waited for 25 minutes for them to raise the gates. The entire mall was open and ready for business. I will give them the benefit of the doubt, but if they had something going on where they couldnt open their doors, they should have posted that outside for everyone to see. I am very upset that I have to go back there again to see if they are open. I would rather go somewhere else. There were others waiting outside as well. Zales, you lost a lot of business today.

Had a horrible experience at zales recently. My boyfriend and I went to go look at rings, we werent looking to buy just yet, we were just wanting to look. The lady there kept pushing rings at us, and then offered to do a credit check to see if we would qualify for their credit card. We decide why not, well just get a credit check done, no big deal. Well today he gets a card in the mail for a zales credit card. We never applied for a credit. So dont do a credit check with them, because apparently they think a credit check, and a credit card application are the same thing. Would give zeros stars, but I have to give one. Not happy with them at all. Will never walk into a zales ever again.

Bought a watch from Zales for Christmas....after 3 months of wearing it, I decided it was time to take it in for a cleaning. Zales Employees states it takes 2 weeks for the cleaning process because they have to ship out the watch to be cleaned. A little irritated that it takes that long, but okay. I get call 4 days later, after I dropped it off, stating that my watch got damaged & is beyond repairable when it was being Shipped. Zales Employees stated they have absolutely no idea & no time frame for how long itll be before I get a new watch. Im Beyond Pissed!
