Great, customer loving staff. Lovely ambience. Being my first time there, and a cappuccino lover, I went by their suggestion to have a cortado and loved it. I so wanted to buy their mugs or a t-shirt from their marketplace, maybe next time. Would highly recommended this place.

One of the many fine places to sip a cup of coffee in downtown Olympia. An elegant and spacious interior, the perfect environment to sneak in a chapter from the book, The Invention of Nature by Andrea Wulf. (Purchased, of course, from Browsers Bookshop down the road.) Clean restrooms and friendly staff complement the meditative calm of Dancing Goats.

The staff are super nice! Also the atmosphere is amazing as well. However, personally I think their coffee is just meh. Not terrible, but not terrific either. *However*, their pastries/good is great!

Love the coffee, but always quiet when I go in. Not a bad thing, but the coffeehouse vibe is pretty nonexistent post-covid unfortunately. Hopefully business will pick up more. Great food, too, and its nice to dine in again.

We love all of the Dancing Goats locations. I am a big fan of their Iced Chai Latte with Oat Milk. My partner loves their drip coffee and iced mochas. The atmosphere of the Downtown location is especially nice.

Visited this coffee house by word of mouth, which was an excellent recommendations both for coffee and atmosphere. Such a quaint yet inviting place to hangout, people watch, have camaraderie with friends, and enjoy a social environment with friendly folks and servers. Food and coffee ☕ were both tasty and warrant return trips. Attractive wall art that harbors the art essence of downtown.

Not from Olympia and was craving some good coffee. While walking with a friend from around here she said we HAVE TO stop at “Baddy and Bronson”. Must admit this is now going to definitely be my go to coffee whenever I come to Olympia and was 100% satisfied with my purchase there. The selection of blends is magnificent, but I must say the Dancing Goat Blend is one of the best I’ve tried so far throughout my caffeinated life.

Perfect balance of crist very clean almost german precision in appearance with a welcoming cozy set of staff and attitudes ... the kind of place you can come to day after day month after month and know it will always feel like a crisp clean snow ir warm colorful fall ... when you will taste goid tastes, smell goid smells, and feel life us rich wonderful meaningful... and leave happy and clear if mind and spirit... oh and did I mention ... never once have they failed to provide great brew, goid yummiest stuff ... this place deserves to be on your daily list if you are close enough to.make it so

A much better option to Starbucks. This coffee shop is on the same block as Starbucks and is local. They have almond milk so for all my healthy people, they care about you. This is also the last place you can find an 8 oz serving. Such a baby cup, I love it. The location is large inside. Free WiFi is available. There are plenty of tables and outlets to work or study. The tables are large enough for a group of 6.

Had a decaf latte and chocolate cookie. The latte was among the best I’ve ever had, the milk was steamed to perfection, temp and creaminess were on point! The coffee was smooth and delicious!

I really enjoy drinking coffee, and Batdorf & Bronson is one of my favorite places to shop for coffee, yes I have been there several times over the decades, and this coffee is very much a recommend brand of some of the best coffee in the world. Perry a satisfied costomer for over 30 years.

3 stars because the service was great! The issue was the coffee.... it was actually sadly too bitter, tasted like milk and the syrup was too heavy (iced hazelnut latte and a blended vanilla latte)... we wound up throwing our drinks away when we walked outside. It was literally undrinkable. I dont know if its the way the coffee was prepared or what... Our normal coffee place uses Batdorf & Bronson coffee and its AMAZING!

I am an Olympian, born and raised and will forever love Batdorf and Bronson. Their coffee is delicious and of quality. They seem to be hiring more hippie people these days, but I have yet to notice a B.O. smell (unlike some other places in Oly). The shop still seems to attract a business type of clientele.

Phenomenal coffee with tasty pastries. This is the first coffeehouse that has made a cappuccino just like in Europe. Silky smooth milk foam with a dark chocolate note espresso roast. The merch is great, too. Will never go to Starbucks again!

One of my favorite little coffee houses in Olympia, cozy atmosphere With lots of seating yet, I wish they had MORE seating with chairs the facing each other, so that two people could converse more easily. I guess it didnt matter cause I moved the chairs myself. Great coffee, I highly recommend the Whirling Dervish label. They also sell the beans at the organic co-ops in town but sometimes theres no bags to put the coffee in, hint hint.

Good coffee. Not the best but still worth 5 stars and a try. Service was fast. Spacious cafe. They have a variety and you can get one made and probably grounded right there.

Fantastic local coffee shop. Clean, well lit, good quality menu items. Tip: the donuts are unmarked, but they are organic, vegan Mighty-O Donuts from Seattle! If all the frosted ones are gone, I got there first. They also carry some good quality, local packaged sandwiches and salads if you need a quick bite to go.

B & B makes the best latte I have had since I returned to live in the Great NW some 18 months ago. They start with their own espresso, add steamed milk and froth to enhance the espresso, not overwhelm it. I consider their main competitor to be Olympia Coffee Roasters at their 4th Ave. location. I did enjoy a few lattes there until I gave B & B a try. Also I prefer the casual and comfortable seating and friendly layout. Maybe Im just not hip enough for Olympia Coffee but I found the place too modern, too cold with the stainless steel feel and I did not feel welcome there. Will confess Im 63 but theres always a variety of people there. Staff is friendly, nice, gracious even. Also, a latte is cheaper than the going rate.

Great customer service, lovely coffee, clean and tidy.The cafe has high ceilings and is very open, so sound carries, making a noisy and lively atmosphere. More for those who want a medium-high energetic place.

Great Coffee. Had some relatives come up from California and they loved it too and they make sure and revisit when they come to Washington.

Great coffee, nice staff, good snacks, comfortable seating. The acoustics however are awful as the place has a very high ceiling. So if you are somewhat deaf like me its not a good place for a conversation.

Batdorf & Bronson Coffeehouse is trendy, local, upscale coffee shop with good drinks and typical pastry snacks. The prices are high, but its what you would expect walking into a shop downtown that sells local coffee. They have so much space, I wish they would do more music or performances, it seems the huge beautiful room is wasted without some artistic use!

My favorite almond milk lattes. Drip coffee isnt burnt like Starbucks, but not so light that it just tastes like fruit. Well balanced. Their pastries are made by San Francisco street Bakery and are excellent.

The employees here are so absolutely wonderful. There coffee brand has a rich bold flavor that will have you craving more, the atmosphere is perfect for a date, meeting, homework or small gathering of friends. I highly reccomend this coffee shop.

By far and away the best coffeehouse in downtown Olympia. The drinks and food are delicious, the baristas are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My only wish is that they were open a little longer. I would love to come here after work, but it usually closes at 6pm.

My favorite spot to go when i need a good cup of coffee and a comfy chair with wifi. I can plug in my headphones and work or have a short conversation with the local characters that are typically gathered there. Nice atmosphere and a big window for people watching and the gas fire place is sweet on a blustery Oly winters day.

Nice and warm, comfy place to hide away from the rain. Was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was there and how kind the employees were. And its worth noting how nice and clean the bathrooms are!!

This coffee shop is an Olympia Institution, as much a part of the fabric of the town as Arts Walk or the Farmers Market. Great coffee (national award-winning roastery) and a cozy interior perfect for meetings with friends or for business. If you havent been there, go.

We stopped in for the first time last Sunday. OH WOW! I had a half decaf iced mocha. Hubby had a mocha with their homemade whipped cream. It was the best coffee weve ever had! I only wish it wasnt 30 miles from our house!

The place has great atmosphere warm and inviting, the coffee was not good in my opinion. Could be a local palate it but does not agree with mine. The taste and smell was bitter and honestly tasted like the majority of generic coffee I have tasted throughout Washington.

This is my favorite coffee in Olympia, it is absolutely delicious! Most of the time the baristas are friendly and quick. The only negative mention is that the temperature is sometimes on the cool side.

I have been going for years and the service has been on and off. I think the turn-over really affects the quality of the service of this cafe. However, my last interaction was, at best, disappointing.Like always, I ordered a chocolate Cortado (2oz. of coffee and 2 oz. of milk) with a little bit of choc. To my surprise I had to pay more than $5 plus tip. To put it in perspective, a 12oz mocha is a little bit more than $4. In the beginning I thought it was a mistake and I mentioned something to the barista. Her response was vague with no solution and ending on Im just an employee. Then I talked to the Manager that Ive known for years. His response was Yes, Ive noticed this before and I talked with the office so they could change this price, but they havent done it yet. To what I answered I dont think is fair that Im drinking a 4oz drink and Im paying almost the same amount as a 16oz Mocha, is there anything that could be done? To what he repeated the same statement he previously did. Since my frustration was building up, I asked what would be a solution for the future, because obviously I wont be coming again if this is the most expensive coffee in town. He never answered to that question, but he gave me back the money for the extra chocolate.Good coffee, yes. But the service has to improve qualitatively for me to come back. I left very disappointed. I would have given 0 starts, but as you probably know 1 is the minimum.

Today I purchased medium latte. Coffee is good and delicious but Instead, I got small one. Prices are huge. I was tired after night shift and noticed the mistake only after I got home.Customer service is also not the best.

Flagship location! Batdorf & Bronson must have been two geniuses with coffee roasting, because their brew is by far the best Ive had. Try the dancing goats. This place has an entrance much like a lounge with couches and chairs, then a stairway that leads up to the bar counter with large tabletops and chairs for work space. Its a local favorite and even offered all around campus at Evergreen. The atmosphere here is homely and comforting. Great place to sit down and be productive ;-)
