Really pretty and good presentation! It wasn’t all looks either because you could still eat it without it being messy after minutes! Just a great dessert in general and the employees were super nice. The drink was really pretty and tasted good, I just didn’t know that the tea was fizzy like soda and I don’t drink soda. Other than the tea tasting like soda it was a decent drink and it was made quickly.

We picked this place randomly just enjoying our time in Oakland Chinatown. As I’m not very experienced in Chinese desserts so was a bit careful to order one of that endless variety:) My choice was Matcha Lady M cake and Oreo milkshake. Can say that the cake was close to the original but a liiitle bit more sweetness would make it better. My husband ordered almond paste with tofu pudding. That was huge experiment for him but seems that he liked it. What I really liked about this place it’s the atmosphere. Chinese synt pop music on background, really nice and helpful stuff all that makes me want to come back and try some of their true Chinese desserts with sticky rice or taro balls(:

Theres so many interesting dessert in this place. I tried black tea bingsu and mango milk custard. I really liked black tea bingsu. It has strong black tea flavor, highly recommended for tea lovers. Served with condensed milk, Boba and jelly. Maybe not sweet enough if you have a sweet tooth.Also, mango milk custard is fresh and soft.Employees are very kind. Definitely want to visit again!

I have habitually come for sesame filled dumplings in the past , one of the best that I have tasted because the filling is lush with sesame and sugary bites and the skin is thin ; the ginger soup to the sesame dumpling is also very very gingery ( spicy but not too hot). However when I bought some today , they changed the sesame dumpling ! The filling is too little and the skin is then rather thick in proportion to the filling . The sugarly bites of the filling is also gone . The dumpling itself has shrunk in size . The ginger soup became just a sweet soup and not gingery as before anymore .What happened ? Please please please bring back the previous dumpling and ginger soup ! Thank you

One of the best dessert spots in Oakland. Open late night. Great menu with tons of interesting choices that will take you a while to get through. Love the coconut pudding.

Whats not to love about this place? Desserts are the best! They have their busy hours, but what popular place doesnt? Worth the wait indeed. Sometimes they may run out of certain menu items or ingredients, but that only speaks to its popularity. Dont get upset, just try something else. Never had a bad dessert.

Cheery spot and good selection of Asian desserts. The sesame paste and almond paste was satisfying, although the rice balls that came with it was not soft enough and had a weird taste to the exterior that I really cant put into words. Grass jelly with toppings came with coconut milk and was overall sweeter compared to Meet Fresh. Probably better value here but you should try both and decide.

Their menu options are really good, great quality an presentation. Staff always try to be on time and respectful.

My first Time here. Staying at a nearby hotel, and wanted to walk around and explore the area. I ordered the coconut sago as take out, and it did not disappoint. So creamy and tasty! Not too sweet, which is a positive. The next time I come back, I think I will order something to have there. I was watching the desserts coming out of the kitchen, and they are mini works of art!

By far my absolute favorite place to go. We stayed in Chinatown for a week and went at LEAST once a day every day. Theres jothing on the menu that isnt worth trying. The eggpuffs, smoothies (especially the mango and the strawberry), and sticky rice with fruit and coconut sauce are all amazing!

The desserts were unique and delightful. I enjoyed the different textures and flavor profiles. Very good, this place will be a must stop on my visits to Oakland, CA.

Found my new go-to dessert place in Oakland! So many options and for different moods too. Hot, cold, sweet, not super sweet, fresh juice. Yeah Im coming back for more smiles and happiness.

Chill setting and good dessert

Kinda upset about this, I usually like buying desserts from this place. Today I ordered a strawberry and mango juice. The menu says its fresh juice, but you can see its obviously syrup added with some ice. Highly disappointed to pay $10 for sugar water.Wont be coming back for a while.

This is a small Chinese desert place in Oakland downtown. I ordered Mango&strawberry egg puff with ice cream, it was simply delicious.

Pretty good Asian dessert. My wife loves the mango pomelo sago. The taro balls are great if you like chewing mochi things. Staffs are nice but manager kicked us out at 11pm sharp.

The watermelon drink is nice. Its seed-less.

It looks like a small spot in Chinatown Oakland. But actually it is so tasty with a variety of great dessert. The portion is large and food is definitely in high quality. Service is good too. But it could be crowded sometimes. I would recommend it as the must go please in Chinatown. It will surprise you.

I came here with a friend on a holiday weekend night, and it was almost fully occupied when we arrived. We got a table and I ordered the mango sago. It was also a bit cold so I went to go close the door, but the person working there said the boss doesnt allow closing of the door when there are customers. Weird rule, I wonder why that is, but okay. The mango sago came and the sago was a bit clumpy and not super great. I also had a bite of my friends mango with tofu which was quite delicious. The tofu was really soft and smooth. Service was the norm of any Asian place, and I liked this place because it wasnt super loud nor crowded. Quite a nice space. The dessert was tasty but small for $6 post-tax.

Pretty good dessert, kind of on the pricey side though. The lady m cake was still a little frozen in the middle. The waitress was very nice and attentive and offered water and extra utensils without being asked.

Great place if you wanna have some of your own time and also have some great desserts in the meantime. They know how to make desserts. However, I do not recommend their milk tea; the recipe is too ordinary and average. Recommend the coconut sago and the macarons.

Wonderful and delightful

Excellent desserts with so many options! Its hard to choose. The mochi balls were perfectly done with a sweet nutty filling. The mango coconut and sticky rice was so refreshing with some shaved ice underneath.

They have a very diverse menu. Small quaint place in downtown Oakland. But the desserts werent anything fancy.

Got food poisoning after eating a part of a coconut sago milk custard. Spent half a day in the bathroom. There were also little dust particles in it.

The food is delicious, plating is nice and social media worthy, the workers are also very nice, and the music choice is great as well.

This takes me back to my travels in Asia. If you like true Asian desserts with taro and jellies then this is the place. Once you get the menu be sure to flip to the last page and order the taro jelly bowl of choice, its the best.

Ordered 4 desserts today and only got 3. Such a horrible and the service is even worst. Never going back again.

My friend is an UberEats courier and she told me a horrible story about this place! She said that she picked up an order for a disabled family. From based on what she told me.. This family ordered 9 or 10 items and they forgot majority of it and basically they asked the customer to drive to them and pick up the remainder order they never included in the first order. So here is where the courier (my friend) came in. As soon as she arrived to UC Dessert, they gave her the other order to deliver to them and threw the money inside the bag with the food!!!!!!!!!! The EF?!?! That is just sick that just breaks health code and protocol!! I guess my friend told them that they were yelling at the poor family over the phone!! Based on this story, I decided to check them out on Yelp, I see good reviews and some bad ones.. So to this.. I dont think I will ever step foot in this NASTY place!

Absolutely delicious with kind and fast service. The mango pomelo sago is wonderful, and so is the brown sugar pearl egg waffle.

Decent place for HK style dessert. Lava cake is a must-try. Be sure to get it with a scoop of ice cream. Watermelon juice was refreshing & not overly sweet.

I found this place a bit hard to find. Its in the same shopping plaza as Peony seafood restaurant but located on the first floor facing the streets. Food was okay.
