Based on previous reviews I ordered Brian’s special and they delivered! The bacon was super crispy and the avocado slices lived up to the hype. The lovely lady who helped me out was super friendly. It’s a stacked sandwich so I recommend eating it there fo sho.

Always slightly a weird vibe inside; like it doesnt know what it is or what people want it to be. But we are always so happy here. Barista skillz always on point and sandos are GREAT.They make their own English Muffins for the breakfast sandwiches.Try the banana mocha.

Easy to find with Google maps. Free uncovered parking. Limited seating with only five tables inside. Love their breakfast menu.

Kefa has a top 3 in the world breakfast sandwich and Im not even willing to debate it. Ive nearly given up on even ordering a breakfast sandwich anywhere else because Im always just disappointed that its not a Kefa sandwich. Id give it a 6th star if I could.

The beacon egg and cheese on an English muffin was delicious. One of the best Ive had since moving to the Bay Area.

I recommend Brians sandwich. The size is not too small nor too big--just enough to start the day. The avocado, egg, and spinach balances out the saltiness of the bacon. I definitely would get the same thing when I come back.

I have no idea how they fit 8 kinds of awesome in this breakfast sandwich! Get Brian’s special, it’s loaded with bacon, spinach, egg and a huge slice of avocado. A little melted cheese and a perfectly toasted English muffin filled my belly with joy. It was perfect every single bite! As a sandwich should be it was busting at the seams and a little bit messy. I️ have no review for the coffee (I️ sipped a chamomile tea) but I️ would go out of my way for the sandwich alone. First experience here and the staff was friendly without being overwhelming. The music is pumping and atmosphere is mellow for nearly 8 in the morning. Sit at the bar and watch the traffic pass by while you bliss out on some fantastic grub!

Kefa Coffee is a hidden treasure. Ive passed it countless times but stopped by for a coffee today. What a great choice! The coffee is great. I had the Jingletown sandwich and it was delicious. But most important, the service was outstanding. I wish Id got the name of the barista -- she deserves a raise. She was both personable and super efficient at keeping the line moving. Thanks for a great lunch!

Pass by everyday, finally decided to go stop in this morning. Its a nicely decorated and good vibes kinda joint. Wanted to like this place from first impressions. Ordered the banana mocha. Yuck! Super bland with no actual taste of coffee nor mocha and a faint banana taste. Kinda like banana water. I cannot believe I paid $6 for this!! Only gave this place 3 stars for good first impression. In the future I will continue to keep just driving pass.

Wow. The coffee is great but the food is amazing. Did not expect the food to be as good as it was. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The eggs were delicious with a perfect texture. Get some food here for sure!

Small spot, some tasty treats. Counter service, with pretty good coffee. They have a few outdoor tables, but I sat indoors due to the freeway entrance proximity. Some people looked like they were enjoying themselves out there however. They have music playing inside and a pretty simple menu. I found the food delicious if slightly simple. The portions are not excessive. It was pretty chill on a Saturday lunch hour.

Great location for all forms of transportation. Close to bus and Bart. Friendly service and great food. My bacon, egg, and cheese on English muffin was delicious. Bacon was crispy and plentiful (4 slices), eggs and cheese were cooked perfectly as well. The English muffin was light and crispy on the outside and had a awesomely soft center from the heat of the food. My partner had Turkey, egg, cheese and spinach on English muffin and enjoyed it as much as I did mine.

Regular spot for casual visits, meetings and a great place to TCB w my laptop. Delicious food and always great coffee. Sit inside or outside with table service for food orders. Biggest props to Mark for speedy, nerves-of-steel service with unfailing courtesy and a great smile. We love Kefa!! (Have a pic but no way to post??)

First time having coffee and a sandwich at this spot. Over all a good place to start your day had a good sandwich called Brian special and a vanilla latte which was also really good. I do recommend this spot for your morning starts

Visited this place a few years ago and was incredibly pleased with the breakfast sandwiches!After the gym I was really craving a high quality breakfast sandwich nearby and this was the spot :DI got the bacon, egg and cheese on a English muffin and it was DELICIOUS!My only critique would be the option to have cheddar cheese instead of swiss just because thats more down my alley..I came back the next day and added spinach to the B-E-C sandwich and it was AWESOME! I recommend calling in if youre on the go because it takes about 15-20 minutes. Theyre reputable and busy specially during commute hours.

The coffee is very good. However, my most recent visit at 7am on a Thursday, the coffee was lukewarm, and the girl didnt have any new pots brewed. She only brewed a fresh post after I ordered the coffee, and still gave me coffee from the old, almost empty pot.Also, in another visit, I decided to get a bagel with cream cheese, which took more than 5 minutes. The bagel also came out extra crispy, slightly burnt, and very dry. Theyre not the best. If anything, just the coffee... when its hot.

10 min in line and 15 waiting for your order, dont recommend for a quick morning start.They also dont do substitutions, so if you dont eat cheese just pay for it anyway. And if youre vegetarian but eat eggs, it will taste like bacon!

Coffee is good and food while a little pricey was good. Sadly the service is a bit slow. Would not recomend ordering if you are in any kind of a hury. If you have time to sit down or are not on your way to bart its a nice spot for a good cup of coffee.

Have been here twice for mocha and an egg sandwich (reminds me of my days working near a Specialtys). Friendly service, good mocha, and great egg sandwich (egg, spinach, and cheese). Like the free WiFi. Would enjoy hanging out longer, but no public restroom.

Kefa is a little local cafe in Jingletown, just over the Park Street Bridge between Alameda and Oakland. Cafe Kefa serves strong coffee, excellent breakfast sandwiches and healthy salads. The folks that run it are friendly and have excellent taste in music, making it easy to linger over a coffee and the morning paper.

Had one 8 oz. cappucino from here. Meh. The restaurant was clean and welcoming though. Id come back to try others. 2 stars for the cappucino though.

The food was awesome! Loved my sandwich. The barista seemed a little rude at times though. Acts friendly, but comes off sounding rude towards others when requesting something for coffee.

The service here is personal and friendly. The iced coffee however is lackluster. They did tell me they may start doing cold brew iced coffee here soon. But only 2.50$ for an iced coffee is pretty awesome. Cheaper than Starbucks or Peets
