We got there about 5:15 and the parking lot was full. Well almost full, we almost passed it up. Thank goodness we did not ,walked right in and was seated immediately. The food was divine. My husband had steak my friend had a pepper jack wrap and I had a Mediterranean chicken wrap. All were delicious, service was quick, and bill was very reasonable. Great place I will definitely go again.
Absolutely amazing. The food was so good (cheese is Wisconsinite approved) and the service was perfect. The hostess is adorable and sweet and the waitresses are attentive and fast. The cooks must be experts because the food is perfectly cooked and positively scrumptious. I will definitely be back!

This is a family owned restaurant. It is clean. The staff is friendly. They have the best soups. I have tried many different kinds and they are all delicious. They have a large menue with a wide variety of meals. Sandwiches if you want a lighter meal. There portions are large. Often times more than You can eat so taking leftovers home for later is a plus. The homemade potato chips are awesome. The porkchops are melt in your mouth delicious. The seafood dinners are so good. They make their desserts from scratch and they so large they are shareable. If you want a place to eat with a wide variety to choose from this is your placeβ€οΈ
My sister, my boyfriend, and I came here for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. I found this restaurant from a quick Yelp search and realized I drive past it often. I love finding food gems in my area.Cons:- Parking. Their parking lot is a decent size for the size of the establishment. However once we pulled in we could tell they were popular as we got the last available parking spot. This could be an impact due to COVID precautions and people waiting in their cars to be seated- My sister said her French toast couldve been sweeter. Although she said it was cooked well she felt the cinnamon outweighed the sweetnessPros:- I observed everyone properly masked and parties were appropriately spaced a part. They also have covered outdoor seating available- Although they were busy I truly liked that one of the hostesses came and took our drink orders while we waited for our server. She also let us know shed be with us shortly- PANCAKES!!!!! I got the special blueberry white chocolate chip pancakes for an up charge with my ultimate skillet and they were my favorite thing I ate. They were perfectly sweet and cooked and honestly they should be on the menu permanently. My boyfriend had the regular pancakes and loved his as well- The bacon was also a huge hit at our table. Honestly all of the meats were lol to include the country fried steakDefinitely a hit. Breakfast goes until 11:30 on Saturdays apparently. As we were finishing up lunch was starting and being brought out to other patrons and the food looked equally delicious!

I really enjoyed my visit to the Brick house Diner. Food was delicious and very generous helpings. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations. Prices was well worth the amount of food you get. I would highly recommend this diner
Nice quaint little place. Iβd give it 3.5 stars if I could, losing a half a star in the food and a full star for service.Stopped here for lunch and the food was pretty good. The loaded tater tots were very good!! Loaded with real bacon and cheese. Taters cooked perfectly with a little crunch. My burger was ok, cooked well, moist but not very flavorful. Fries could have been cooked a little longer, but then again, I prefer mine to not be too soft still. Sat outside where there were three or four other families dining as well. Service took forever and there was plenty of staff on hand!!! Thought we were forgotten about at first but no, it was generally slow the entire time.
Excellent service and so many choices. Ive only been twice and cant wait to go again so I can try another menu item. Love it!!!
It was our first time visiting but it will surely not be our last. Taylor was fantastic and we did not want for a single thing. We had hushpuppies to start with. They were well seasoned and hot. We ordered burgers. They were huge! The onion rings and fries were amazing too. Decided to splurge and got dessert. So glad we did. I am usually not a fan of bread pudding but after one bite that changed. It was absolutely delicious and I may have liked it more than my brownie sundae. If you are thinking about trying this restaurant I would highly recommend doing so!
Amazing! The wait was short. My Service and waitresses was nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Everything was flavorful. The only thing that could use more sugar was the apples and lemonade, but the actually meal made up for that. The portions was great. I will be back and would recommend this restaurant.
Staff was informed of 79 yr man and his 77 yr old wife, fell, n parking lot... Staff so generously offered 2 Band-Aids, didnt bother offer call fire department, for WELLNESS CHECK βοΈ!
Amazing food! Best chips ever! Must try the chick avocado sandwich.I do have one suggestion though.I understand your staff is young and inexperienced, however, they can be a little nicer. Makes the customer feel like they are in a rush to get them outta there, even though they say βNo rushβ :) overall, great experience and food though
If I could give this restaurant more than five stars I would. Vic and his staff are phenomenal. I spoke to Vic and arranged to have a small group for a rehearsal brunch. They welcomed us a half hour before closing on a Sunday. Not only did our waitresses take care of us the entire time, our food came out perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for a diner, and the service was great too. This is certainly a local favorite. I suspect the owners are directly involved in this place and they know what they are doing.
Has outdoor seating which is great. Breakfast was good. Coffee not that great tasting. Refills were not offeredπΆWe felt we were rushed from the diner.

Absolutely delicious food at fantastic prices and easily 3 pounds of eggplant parmesan with spaghetti, plus loaded bake spaghetti. Friendly service and quality, definitely makes this place a new must-go-to!!! The eggplant parmesan dinner is a dinner included a house salad plus garlic bread for $13.99. Where else can you go and easily get 3 pounds of food for that price? You must try them out.
Stopped by for breakfast with my daughter. Parking lot was packed, but it was only about a 15 minutes wait. Everything came out hot and fresh. My daughter didnt care for her baked apples, so the waitress offered to bring her another side. She asked for home fries and it literally took her about 30 seconds to bring them to our table. Impressed!

This is a nice place to go and eat, nicely furnished but the name made me think it was an american diner not quite what I expected. However with current regulations in place and tables not being used because of this we sat outside under a tent on their patio. It was ok, I will be glad when restrictions are lifted and restaurants can use their dining rooms to normal capacity.The food was very good, I had the pita with meat, tzatziki etc which was excellent, my wife had one of their burgers. Portions are good and food tasty.I would recommend this place but remember it is not a diner in my book but more of a nice restaurant to eat in.

The food was delicious. The servicer wasnt very focused. I ordered soup & a salad. The waitress bought the salad with no dressing, and she never brought the Soup. My guest ordered a bacon cheeseburger, but hold the cheese. The bacon cheeseburger came with no lettuce, tomato & onion. Which it should have been dressed with.
Their food never disappoints. I got the real deal burger. If youve got an appetite Id recommend getting this!

Iβve been a patron of BHD for about a year. My family and I love the cozy, local atmosphere and outdoor (covered) patio. The food is good and fairly large-portioned.Despite being very popular weβve never had to wait longer than 15-20 min. And Iβd estimate 50% of our visits we donβt have to wait at all.My one consistent gripe is the coffee is especially underwhelming. If BHD teamed up with a local / boutique coffee producer itβd be 5 stars from me.

Busy but we were in and out quickly. Food was excellent and reasonable.
Hamburger steak meal it could walk off the plate, it was so undone. After asking over the phone to have it done before my arrival it was not. So the owner daughter said oh its not meatloaf its hamburger steak. Really I said its still undercooked hamburger.

Have gone there twice for breakfast and been told they have stopped serving it. Their website says noon, then when we got there they said they stop at 11. Got there the second time only to be told at 10:30 that they had already stopped. I wont go back. When we commented to the waitress about the time her response was oh well... Forget it!

Blueberry pancakes could not have been better. And a perfect portion.. lots of eggy dishes which I dont do, so my choices were pretty minimal. The waitress said lunch didnt start till 11:50.. I really think that is a bit late for a diner!!! I was craving just a simple BLT but was declined. Fair prices. Nice service.. my first time there so definitely want to go back for lunch, the menu looks really tasty!

They were surprisingly busy for 10:30 on a Friday morning. They will not seat you until your entire party is there, which is fine. The inside seemed pretty packed, not skipping tables for COVID, we sat outside. I had the blueberry waffle with strawberries on top and a side of home fries. It was delicious and came quickly.

We recently discovered the Brick House Diner has brunch on Sunday. Our new favorite place to eat out at on Sunday afternoons! They were busy when we were there January 3rd, 2021 but worth the wait, which wasnt really that long!
First time eating there and it was great the food and service was real good.
The food was EXCELLENT and the portions were Great. The server was fast and efficient. Definitely plan on returning. I had the Burger, probably one of the Best burgers ever. My friend had the Ribeye cooked to perfection.

Drove up from Southern VA for the day to visit a cousin and he took me to Brick House for breakfast. Had the breakfast skillet and it was amazing, coffee was hot and delicious, and our server, Annette, was very friendly and accommodating! My first visit, but definitely will not be my last.

I have to call this one , best burger in richmond . Set aside the fact that the burger was big, juicy and flavorful, its fun to eat. Not your regular burger, you have to plan an attack, this burger makes you think..... which side to start on, can I possibly, actually fit that in my mouth, at what point will I need to turn this monstrosity around and hit the other side... ask for extra napkins, you will need them..... the service is great too.
The worst I ever had there. Extremely disappointed. Came in 11am on Saturday stated it would be lunch and 20 minute wait I stated thats fine. It took 45 minutes. We got seat after I came into to check. Then proceeded to say it will be a few minutes more waiting on the last breakfast to be served. Didnt quite understand since at 11 they told me it had to be lunch now it is Noon. A couple that came after us was seated was given a breakfast order. Which didnt make since. I ask if we could order homemade chips and stated needed to wait. When they finally arrived it was yesterday chips cold and greases. My husband chicken sandwich was over cooked and you could see it was all the way around it but served to us any way. Waitress did her job but the rest I would give a 0 score. Tried to speak to owner immediately after leaving on the phone stated gone but he was there as we were leaving. Very sad.
