The owner and mechanic is named Don and he is one of the best, most personable, and most professional mechanics Ive ever dealt with. I called him first thing on a Friday morning (like 6:30am) about a brake job that I screwed up and he did what he could to fix it that day. It would have been acceptable if he didnt, but he chose to go the extra mile. He fixed my lack-of-knowledge oversight with no judgment and explained things well. He could have charged whatever he wanted at that point, but he has a lot of character and was very fair with his price and saved us money even though it meant some more work for him. Ill recommend Don to everybody. Hes that good.

Dealing with auto repair shops is usually a nightmare. I was in a tough situation with a stranded vehicle due to ignition and starter issues. SVS helped me set up a tow and diagnosed my issues. This repair could have cost me thousands of dollars due to how difficult I believed it would have been to diagnose. I had the truck 2 days later and was under 500 dollars. Assessment, diagnosis, plan, intervention, eval and follow up. The price- I am not even close to complaining coz it would be embarrassing. Probably the best automotive technician Ive dealt with in a long time. Any issues you may have with your vehicle, the technician will take time out of his busy schedule to explain to you what the root causes of the faults on your vehicle. The technician here at SVS Automotive is fair with his prices and dont overcharge you for parts that 98% of the auto repair shops normally do. Most importantly, the technician is honest and reliable, which is another trait I have not found in many other auto repair shops Ive done business with.

Donn has been our mechanic for years. He has broad knowledge of all vehicles and is able to explain problems and solutions very clearly. He has given us good advice on what work to do right away, what work should wait, and what work we should anticipate in the future. He has often worked late or started early in order to get our vehicle back to us quickly. He keeps detailed records and his charges are fair.

We are from jersey broke down on 95 found this shop on my phone.. first we spent the night in a rest stop raining hot and no air cause our alternator blew. so we call him the next morning.. he says come over .. he stopped what ever he was doing and took care of us .. you see we were on our way to florida..didnt overcharge us just a great great person and a hell of a mechanic.. if you have a problem .. he can fix it.. he had us back on the road in 45 minutes new alternatorthank you again
