I must say, I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had in my life with a repair service. Both Kelly and Travis were so nice, informative and knowledgeable of what would rectify my vehicle problems, plus they were so kind and understanding when they realized that I was six hours away from home how important it was for me to feel safe driving back to North Carolina. I wish they were closer to NC for I know they would have at least one customer (me) forever. I thank them both from the bottom of my heart.

I had a Tire that lost air. NOBODY could take me Except Everest. They said COME NOW! Jordan very promptly checked it out thoroughly and fully inflated it. NO CHARGE for a half hour’s work. They are my Car Repair place now, without the slightest doubt!

Everest Auto Repair is a breath of fresh air as far as auto repair shops go. They are honest, upfront about costs, and they do excellent, same day work. They even give you inspection details with pictures of any damage when possible. This kind of service is virtually unheard of in the industry. Since I found Everest Auto, I never have to worry about being lied to and ripped off when my car needs work, ever again. Since Im within 10 miles, they even provide me an Uber ride back home when dropping off my car and a ride back to pick it up. It doesnt get any better than that! Wow.

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience here. Having your car break down on your way to a wedding is a stressful experience (luckily it wasn’t my wedding). Travis and Jordan heard and appreciated our desperate situation and instead of taking advantage of us, took up the challenge to get us on the road again in a shockingly little amount of time and at a great price. The car has driven great since then. If I lived in the area I would not dream of going to another place.

Needed a front wheel alignment and a new muffler welded on. Did great work at a very reasonable price. Jordan did the work on my car and it turned out great. He told me the new muffler I wanted didn’t have a chrome tip like my old one and I told him I would just get a universal one from an auto parts store that screws on to the new muffler tip. He took it upon himself to cut the chrome tip from my old muffler and welded it to my new one. They are obviously very customer focusedIf you feel like auto mechanics charge too much and maybe even try to push work on you that doesn’t need to be done, Please stop in and talk to these guys. They will shoot you straight and will quote you a reasonable price that I’m sure will beat any other mechanic in the area.

I appreciate everything about this shop from its clean appearance to the flowers, bird feeders, great verbal communication, use of technology to communicate further and prompt service. I had AC service done on a old junker Passat. I was surprised that it resulted in a working AC system but the thorough inspection of the vehicle and prioritized list of needed repairs was pretty impressive.

I took my truck in for a check engine light diagnosis. I had an idea it had to do with the exhaust as I noticed a crack in it but wanted to make sure it was nothing else. I was given an estimate for over $4000 that listed things like needing new brakes and rotors(I had just put both on brand new 6months before), said I needed wiper blades which I had put on new 2 weeks before, said I needed new shocks which were replaced about a year ago, also told me I needed new tires because mine were 2/32 and 3/32, Well when I came and measured them they were 6/32 and 5/32... and they never even diagnosed the check engine light. I questioned about the check engine light and they said they would have to do a diagnostic in order to determine the issue...I looked at them and said...”yes that is what I brought the vehicle in for...a check engine light diagnosis... so overall they lied, made things up, and were trying to gouge me significantly with the quoted prices. For example they quoted the brakes and rotors repair for over $800 and I did all 4 wheels brakes and rotors 6months before for around $250... people please do not use this shop, they will manipulate you and take your money. Thank God I have experience as a mechanic from high school years and couldn’t be lied to and deceived by this crooked company. And to top it all off when I arrived to pick up my vehicle I went out and there were dirty tools laying on my passenger seat and wires that I guess the mechanic set there and forgot. And this whole process also took 5 days to get my work truck back When I had been told it would be a day originally. Avoid being lied to and having your wallet crushed, go somewhere else, anywhere. Please!

I really dont know what all the fuss is about. I took my car and spent over $1300 for multiple repairs as they recommended. Although I can argue some of the repairs werent even necessary but I didnt know any better back then.They changed the rotors but a few months later they got warped. I went back to fix it under warranty. Gladly they did but it took them 3 days to finish the job after they promised itll be just a one-day job! Changing rotors should only take an hour or two. Not days! They even wanted to charge me $50 for inspection! Their service under warranty is not as nice as when you come for new repairs.Anyhow, a few months later and now my rotors got warped again! Im assuming theyve either used cheap parts or over torqued the lug nuts. At any rate, 2 new sets of rotors shouldnt get warped that fast, if at all! Even though Im still under warranty, I didnt want to go back again and fix it. I decided to do it myself this time. Due to their lack of honesty/competence, they pushed me to buy my own tools and learn how to repair my car myself. I gotta thank them for that at least!Now I can see how nice they look for a naive person. But if you know anything about cars, youll know youd be better off if you did your own maintenance or went to your local mechanic at the corner of a gas station. I sincerely mean it.

This place was outstanding. Went to get my brakes inspected. Every problem they found with my car was followed up with a picture of the problem so I knew that it truly existed and they were not just trying to upsell me on things. When I left the lot I experience a problem with my brake pedal after they did work on my car. They quickly told me to come back and fixed the problem fast and easy. Truly a great place to get work done.

This place is great! I had my car towed to them and they did an emergency repair. They were timely, kind, understanding, and gave me a more than fair price. I am a young girl whose uneducated in care, but they explained everything to me. They also follow really great covid regulations! Overall, I would really recommend Everest!!

Theyre an excellent local shop for repairs. They provided me with a through diagnositic and priced the repair and labor fairly.The only problem you might run into is that they are too busy and might have your vechile a few days more than you may have liked. Even then, they will tell you that upfront and had my care ready days earlier than expected. I would definitely go here again.

These guys are the actual best, saved my car for $200 when every other auto place couldnt figure out what was wrong through 2-3 years of problems, and due to a power train warranty, 2 engines and 3 transmissions. Then Everest comes along and fixes the whole thing with new differential fluid.Also, their pre-work inspection reports w/ photos are especially excellent, dont ever have to guess what theyre talking about, and can usually see the damage referred to. Honestly, its confusing that every auto shop doesnt do this, but thankfully, this one certainly does and its fantastic.

Even though I had to spend a lot of money, everything was fairly place and they didn’t do any work on my car without my permission. Everyone I talked to was super kind and helpful as well! Everest on Kirkwood Highway was able to get me an appointment a week sooner than the dealership and with a less expensive estimate. After I picked my car up, the owner, who worked on my car himself, test drove it with me and explained everything from his inspection. I’ve done nearly all of my own work most of my life so I know a thing or two and could tell Travis is a true pro. Very knowledgeable and didn’t try to BS me at all. Guys like me appreciate that. He even gave me some advice on how to do some future work myself if I wanted. This is my new repair place, I will be back as long as he’s the owner. Thanks!

Have to say that this place was my saving grace on my road trip back to Erie, PA. Managed to destroy my tire in a pothole and get stuck in Newark. The staff here were able to squeeze me into an appointment with two new tires as soon as I was able to get a tow. And they did it in an incredibly quick amount of time for an absolutely fair price! Both the gentleman working the counter and the woman working as the customer representative were extremely friendly and made us feel reassured. Thank you again!!!

Since moving out of state, I haven’t had a trusty mechanic in the area until I started taking my car to Everest. Since my last couple visits, they started sending very detailed diagnostic reports to my phone as soon as inspection was complete (love this feature!). They give time to review it and then give me a call to discuss it. This time, I was really worried taking my car in for AC problems would result in an expensive repair (it was minor, YAY!). Bigggg shout out to Jordan, who kept me informed as to why it was taking a couple days to get a diagnosis. He was super transparent and would offer to explain something a different way if I wasn’t understanding the car-speak. Ive been taking both my vehicles here for a couple years at this point. Mostly just routine maintenance but also a few bigger jobs. The best thing about this place is the honesty. The mechanic will always sit down with you after the appointment to explain each piece of what was done, if there are any outstanding issues, and any work they would expect in the near future. They have never gone ahead and done expensive work without my explicit consent, and theyre very transparent about their pricing and warranties. Ive recommended this shop to all my friends locally!

The A/C in my vehicle stopped working so I brought it by to get checked out. Everest looked at it and called back to say they discovered the system wasn’t getting pressure because something wasn’t wired correctly when it was repaired a few years ago (prior owner, another shop). The Everest tech just re-wired it correctly and that fixed the issue.I appreciate that they consistently deal with my vehicles with integrity. There are 20 auto repair shops between where I live and Everest Auto, but I’ve taken my vehicles here the past few years because I’ve found them to be honest and fair.

I had a check engine light on, and Everest said they could fit me in at 2:00. I dropped my car off early and before I was even picked up, a tech had it out on the road. Around 11:00, they called with an estimate and were very helpful talking through my options. They had everything fixed and ready to go by 4:30 the same day. Ive already recommended them to my parents for their aging minivan.

Heres hoping they open another location one day!I called ahead of time to see if there were any openings, and it happened that they were able to fit me in that same day. That was surprising to me, because it seems as if they never get a break in business. I had taken my Blue Cavalier there a few weeks ago and they had looked at the steering wheel and were going to do some work on it, but I had to go to work and they had underestimated how long the work would take, and they had to put the wheel back together so i could leave and go to work.Today I took it there for what I didnt at all equate to be a related problem - and they fixed this problem without even charging me, because they couldnt be sure that it was related to having taken the wheel apart those couple of weeks or so ago.Let me tell you, dont go anywhere else, give these honest guys your business - we need businesses like this if America is ever to reclaim its former glory days of white picket fences and corner shops that just do good, honest work!

They were really honest and inexpensive and skilled. On my 24 year old Nissan, they were happy to do an exhaust repair by fixing the existing part instead of making me replace it at about 6 times the cost, which is what other pro shops would have insisted.

I have been a customer of Everest since 2014. They have handled major repairs and routine maintenance for my Mitsubishi eclipse. I value their expertise as mechanics and their honesty in the treatment of the customer, and they have good prices. Was able to complete oil change and tire rotation/alignment. Was charged $45 to diagnose steering wheel noise, but they said they did not hear the noise or find anything wrong. Every single time I drive and turn my steering wheel you definitely hear it squeaking, so I will take it back to Campanellas where they dont charge any fee unless they actually fix that problem. Disappointed in my visit and lack of assistance and customer service.

Called a bunch of shops for an oil change and Everest was the cheapest. When I arrived I found out they also do a once over of your car and let you know if something needs to be repaired. Everyone is very nice. Best place around. I will no longer go to any other shop.

I came here after being frustrated by how I was treated at another local mechanic. The guys at Everest are GREAT. They clearly walk you through exactly what is wrong with your car without ever talking down to you or dismissing your questions or concerns. I noticed water leaking from my truck and called Everest auto repair as they were pretty close and have great reviews. I see why they have all those great reviews, Dan had me informed every step of the way and he had all the facts before the calls, they did great work, the truck no longer leaks (the overflow tank had a hole rubbed through) and while under there they discovered my bad ball joints (that many mechanic before them had warned me about), I had then replaced and after driving over a 100 miles the day after the repairs the feel of the steering was as if new, a whole big load of piece of mind after they looked the truck over told me what they recommended and not pushy if you said no, I have found my new repair shop

Enjoyed my service even during the covid19 they were able to help me out. Brought my 2010 nissan altima in, I knew I had a lot wrong with it when I was considering getting work done. Im not sure how many places send pictures of the parts and a reason to fix, but that was very cool! I was able to walk through the service on my phone which made it easy. They put a lot of care into the service here, I no longer see any of the lights that appear on the dashboard which have been on for years... so it was very relieving. Fixing a car is never fun, but Everest in newark makes it simple and hassle free. Thanks to the entire staff over there and I will be back for all my future business.

Working with Everest Auto Repair was one of my best experiences dealing with an auto repair shop. They clearly explained to me what the vehicle issues were and quoted very fair prices for the the parts and labor. They were quick/flexible to get me in and out. I do not like getting swindled into car repairs but Everest was genuine and trustworthy. I definitely recommend their quality service.

Amazing! The staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, very professional, and the price tag is very reasonable for the amount of other advice they gave me regarding the car. Quick service too!I needed to replace my tires and they gave me a reasonable quote. 125/tire, and this includes labor. My car also often produces a terrible smell when the car stalls. They checked it for me, and said it would cost $300 but since its not hazardous, they didnt press me to do it; instead just asked me to lower my windows or to just switch off the A/c when my car is running.I really like that they didnt swing crazy words at me or made me fear for my life if I didnt fix my car.Very friendly. Very professional.I would definitely come back again!

These people did me wrong! On Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 28, 2020); I brought my car into Everest to have them take a look at my car for 2 things: my yellow check-engine light was on and to take a look at my heating system. At the time I dropped my car off, it was running well with no problems that would prevent me from driving the car - I drove into and from work that day with no issues. Upon getting my car back, I was told that there were major problems with my alternator and to look for issues with the battery charging - as a car novice, I didnt interpret this to mean that the car was not drivable. However, upon getting into my car and starting it; it was not operating at the same condition as when I dropped it off. The car made it as far as the Newark Post Office before I had to get help from a police officer pushing the car off the major street into the Post Office parking lot. I then called for a Triple-A tow truck and had the truck towed to my mechanic in New Castle, DE. He determined that the alternator had to be replaced and suspected that something regarding the inspection conducted at Everest led to the alternator not working. I expected the staff at Everest to either improve my car or give it back to me in the same condition that they received it in. The staff not only failed to do that, but then told me that my alternator had problems with it when they got my car. Not only was this not true, my alternator was in worse shape after I picked up my car than at the time I dropped it off. The staff was not honest enough to admit they made a mistake. As a result, they were then going to charge me for replacing the alternator - even though I did nothing wrong to cause it not to work. Getting an inspection like that offered at the Delaware DMV should not have caused issues like this. After speaking to their Customer Complaint Person, he offered only to refund me the $110 diagnostic cost - something I found unsatisfactory because it was far less than the amount I spent replacing the alternator. Until Everest compensates me for the cost of the new alternator and the one-day cost of renting a car; I can not trust this company and would urge other people who dont have advanced knowledge of cars to stay clear of Everest.

When you get an oil change they also inspect your car and let you know what needs attention with pictures and detailed reports. They also give you a summary of the cost for each repair if you choose them to fix your car

My girlfriend came in to get an AC compressor replaced and they gave her the best price in the area, and fixed it promptly.Even after they were done, some of the o-rings were leaking, and when she took it back in they made the adjustments free of charge. Good service, good prices, mechanics who know what they are talking about and dont try to BS you.Will come here for future repairs.

I was new to the area about a year ago and was looking for a shop for a simple oil change and possibly more if the situation ever arose. After doing a bit of research, I settled on Everest Auto Repair and I am glad I found them. I have used them for oil changes and more since moving here, and honestly I cannot recommend them enough. They provide great service both under the hood and at the front desk. They take the time to explain everything, provide options, are reasonably priced, and get things done fast. If you are looking for a shop you can count on, look no more and give them a call!

I cant say a enough good things about these guys. Its a blessing to find an auto repair shop you can trust, and this is it. Ive taken my car there for oil changes, troubleshooting odd sounds, replacing belts and fixing an airbag sensor. Each time they do a thorough job and if they feel that I may need additional service/repair, they call me up to explain what is wrong, the justification for the repair, and to ask for permission before doing additional work. Im not super knowledgable about pricing for repairs, but whenever I talk to someone who is or check online estimates, Everest is consistently at or below the expected cost.

I have been bringing my truck here for years. I had my radiator replaced earlier this year. The radiator was not working correctly...when I got the truck back. They got me back into the shop right away. One of the hoses was over torqued. They fixed the problem and apologized for the inconvenience. My next visit they gave me a free oil change and fixed another hose for free. They take full responsibility for their work. I would definitely recommend using Everest Auto Repair.

These guys are truly amazing. Ive been coming here since I purchased my first vehicle. They are always upfront and honest with me and offers the best prices around. Theyve done everything from replacing a catalytic converter to replacing my entire transmission. I love these guys they have been a blessing to me.

Wow! Say goodbye to the dealer! They layed all my needed services out in a way I could get. They prioritized everything and didnt twist my arm when I chose to not do all of it. Nice and easy to work with people. Will be returning for all of my future services .

I am always pleased with the service I receive at Everest. They are always honest and fair with their prices. They are also quick to respond to emails when having services requested. I am also able to pay over the phone, then pick up my vehicle after hours, since I work late some days.
